About thirty minutes north of Charlotte on Interstate 77 sits Mooresville, a quiet community on the shore of Lake Norman. I have been living in this community since 2020 in a 3 bedroom apartment and I love the management team as well as the maintenance team. the management team is cheerful and professional attending to my requests ASAP. The Maintenance team is great and gets my requests done fast. I just signed another 15 month lease and I am happy to live here
While the apartments are spacious, the finishes are average and the complex doesn’t offer very many amenities. The upstairs neighbors have kids that sound like a zoo and management doesn’t do anything about it. While the office staff and maintenance resolve what they can quickly, corporate management is completely unresponsive. I’ve been trying to speak with our corporate manager for 3-4 months now regarding an air conditioning issue I had and she refuses to contact me to resolve the issue. They jacked rent up at my renewal by $100 and in my opinion, the rent is way too high for the value of the apartment. They refuse to negotiate anything and didn’t offer anything for renewing the lease even though I’ve been here since they opened 2 years ago and have been a model resident. Traffic on the main road is brutal some days and the complex is full of nascar students with loud cars. I’m actively looking to move out and will not be recommending to anyone in the future.
I moved from out of state into this complex before even seeing a tour since they were under construction and I couldn’t be happier. These apartments are spacious and have nice finishes. The master is huge and I love the closet. The second bedroom is a little small but it’s sufficient. The complex is quiet and the neighbors are great. Very safe and nice location. The office staff is very helpful and friendly and maintenance takes care of issues in a timely manner. My main complaint is that traffic on the main road can get backed up especially around school start times but you just have to plan to leave earlier at those times. There are also a lot of souped up loud cars since we are near the nascar college but that is the case at every apartment complex here. Overall I love it here so far and hope to stay for awhile longer
My son and I recently moved up here from GA and had a wonderful experience. Madison always kept in contact with us and I was able to do the application online and she called me the next day to let me know I was approved. Lovely neighborhood, you do have the occasional nascar tech students thinking they are speed racer which I find potentially hazardous because there are children playing outside and drivers do need to be more aware. I absolutely love living here and couldn't imagine living anywhere else,cant wait for the playground to be built!!!
What a very bad, stressful, and frustrating customer service experience due to management not being trustworthy. First, I didn't get the floorplan requested as specifically discussed because management never followed up on my application process or put any effort into getting the floorplan as discussed. Also, managment was not available on the day told to come back and other staff members had no clue as to what is going on with my application (apartment).By making a mistake of trusting management now, I am stuck with an apartment (floorplan) did not want. I dont have time to look for another apartment due to busy work schedule and current lease ending soon. Unfortunately, after visiting complex and speaking with management regarding available floorplans and move in date, application process, it was a waste of time. I believe that the mist important factor of having a good business is by keeping your word exemplies which professionalism and trust. But, in this case that never happened. However, I contacted corporate and all I received was an apology. What a major disappointment.
