Property Ratings at Palm Cove Apartments
This place is great. I have lived in Florida my whole life and this is one of my favorite places I've lived. They keep everything maintained and they are very fast to address needs or concerns. They have a gym, two pools, hot tub, gas grills, beautiful scenery, tennis court, pet sitting services, the office staff are friendly/responsive, and the units themselves are very nice. I recommend this place to anyone looking for somewhere in the area. I work in Sarasota and it's definately worth the drive. It beats anything for the price I've found. Love iiit.
Why it is excellent is the care and maintaining of property and apartments. Never have to ask twice for a repair. The staff is always friendly and cordial and this just a great place to live. The other residents are friendly and the wild life and landscaping is great. I have lived here for three years and just love it. Hope i never have to leave.
Low quality living. Rude management. Slow maintenance.
Palm Cove is a beautiful place with a management team that could care less about its residents. If you voice complaint, they treat you like you're being unreasonable. They'll hang up on you if you call, and they will openly provoke you in the leasing office. Phone calls aren't returned. No request is a priority. By all members of the team there, as well. The property itself is pretty nice and well kept, but the management is just plain poor.
Palm Cove is a nice property, but the staff is careless and rude about requests. They are friendly to get you to sign the lease, and then once you are a resident you become the lowest priority. It is also right next to a Hotel, and so you hear rap music blasting most weekend nights. Move somewhere else if you can.
The office staff are very friendly and always willing to help with anything. The maintenance staff is the best I have ever seen and I have been renting for over 10 years.
We have lived here for about 15 months now and I have lived in quite a few apartments in various parts of Florida. Overall I would say this place has been my best experience. The staff is really great and any problems we have had get resolved quickly. The maintenance staff is friendly and does excellent work. The gym has everything you need to get in great shape and the two pools are very nice.
~2 Years Resident Experience. The Good: It's relatively quiet at night Very nice gazebo, pool, hot tub area, well kept Dog stations with bags kept stocked The appearance of constant upkeep being done (maintenance guys constantly golf carting around during day) The front office often places notes on doors for some holidays, which are a nice touch. The Bad: Creaky floors, can easily hear conversations from upstairs neighbors A few issues with maintenance and often repeating service calls on recurring issues A lot of the service representatives are unprofessional, do not return calls, and do not show care about your concerns. Bottom line, customer service is severely LACKING. Theft, I have had a bike lock cut and my bike stolen (contacted the property, no returned call or email), have had multiple packages from Amazon stolen.
I have lived at Palm Cove for close to 3 years and am VERY HAPPY! I started in a one bedroom and just recently moved to a two bedroom. I really like it here. I think the staff is nice, the property is clean and I really appreciate the parties they throw for us too!
Although the club house is beautiful, words can't express how dissatisfied and angry I was at the low level of unprofessionalism. I reserved the club house a month prior to my event AND I asked at least once every month-for SIX MONTHS-before to see if they decided the club house was even available for rent (at one time it wasn't). Therefore, you would think they'd be more prepared for us than they were. First, this was a wedding related event, so it was difficult not having the confirmation that the club house was available for rental in advance, because wedding invitations had to go out six months before the wedding, and that event info had to be included. Second, and more importantly, they had us go through forms and a meeting about how to treat and clean up their club house, and yet they weren't even prepared for us. They knew we required the grills to feed all our guests and yet there weren't any propane tanks!!! So we had to stop our wedding party, leave our guests, and spend money we didn't have (our wedding was the next day) on a propane tank. To make matters worse, my husband and I have tried and tried to contact the property manager about getting reimbursed for the propane tank by email, phone calls, messages, and visiting the office. We get the same answers; "You just missed her", "She just left", "I'll have the property manager call you back", etc etc, CLEARLY avoiding us. I've tried contacting the corporate office too. Nothing. We aren't even allowed to have propane tanks on our Lanai, but here we are having this stupid propane tank that we can't use and can't keep, but can't get reimbursed for it by Palm Cove. The money we spent on that tank is a lot to me, as a teacher. They still have yet to grow a pair and respond to us, especially after all the trouble they've caused. This is NOT how to treat your residents.
My boyfriend and I have been living here for about 10 months now. We have the fully upgraded 2 bed x 1 bath apartment and our only complaint is not enough closet/storage space. There is one closet in each bedroom (but they are small), one tiny one on the balcony (outside), and then just a couple shelves above the laundry. The kitchen is also small and we had to buy a bookshelf to fit some of our food. I have seen the 2 bed x 2 bath and they have MUCH more space, though. Other than that, we love it here! We haven't seen a single roach since living here, the buildings are kept up nice, the pools are always clean, and the landscaping is pretty. If we ever have something broken, it usually gets fixed within the same week of turning in a work order. The office staff are friendly and helpful. I know they're changing staff soon, so I can't say what the new ones will be like. Overall, two thumbs up!!
I have lived here two different times back in 2007 and 2016-2017. They are very nice. They keep up the grounds nicely and the pool and I love that they have a hot tub. They also have a pavilion to use the gas grills, only sometimes they run out of propane over the weekend. Maintenance is usually very quick to come fix any problems in my apartment. They just painted the exterior of all the buildings and it really looks nice. The people who live here are friendly and quiet and seems to be a mix of young professionals and retired folks. I also see some young families here. I live here with my husband and two young kids and we always have places to play either at the pool, playground or tennis court. Management is professional and I have never had any problems with them. The location is fantastic for shopping, I can walk to Aldi and Publix. Walmart is less than a mile away. We can be at the beach in 10 minutes. Overall, it is what I would expect from a good apartment complex.
Beware! I used to know people from management personally, and I can honestly say they are one of the most untrustworthy and disreputable people I have ever met. I was forced out of my apartment earlier than anticipated because of an error. Before this, when I went to the office to try and resolve my issue, I was very rudely blasted with attacks from the manager and his assistant on how if I did not vacate the unit immediately they were going to take legal action against me and were going to enforce astronomical penalties and fees. This was the one and only time I ever had to personally talk to management about an issue and I was shocked on how unreasonable, impersonal, and unprofessional they were. Before I moved into my unit I was assured everything was clean and ready for move-in. They couldn't have been more wrong. Not only were there issues with the bathroom and kitchen sink, but I instantly noticed my apartment was infested with roaches. There were dozens of them in plain sight. I had no choice but to move in my things while trying to exterminate the apartment. The buildings and surroundings are appealing, but don't judge a book by its cover. The buildings have issues, the "amenities" are not always up to par in quality, and the staff cares only about one thing when it comes to their tenants: their money. If you like being treated like a human being, don't like dealing with roaches and pests, and expect good quality on your apartment home, then this is not the right place for you.
Ive only lived in Palm Cove apartments for 9 months now, but I have fallen in love! They keep the complex looking clean and luxurious. And with two pools, you cant help but feel like you're on vacation. My favorite part about the apartments is their foliage! Green EVERYWHERE! I feel like im in my own jungle/island getaway. And the neighbors are nothing but nice, always smiling and never any problems! Ill be staying here until im ready for a house.
West bradenton living at it's best. Near the beaches, the hospital, and many restaurants. Everything is just minuets from your front door.
