Regarded as the Horse Capital of the World, Lexington is home to a number of horse farms and all kinds of equestrian events. The second largest city in Kentucky, Lexington maintains a small-town feel and progressive atmosphere thanks to an involved community and the presence of three colleges — the University of Kentucky, Transylvania University, and Bluegrass Community and Technical College.
There is something for everyone in Lexington. Sports fans enjoy the horse races at the Red Mile and Wildcats basketball games at Rupp Arena. Outdoor enthusiasts delight in the city’s thriving cycling community, as well as hiking the many trails in and near Lexington. History buffs relish access to the Mary Todd Lincoln House and Ashland: the Henry Clay Estate. Art lovers savor the plentiful art galleries, including Lexington Art League, Institute 193, and the Lyric Theatre and Cultural Center. Shoppers appreciate having the largest mall in Kentucky, Fayette Mall.

Property Ratings at Palomar View Apartments
The office staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and listen to the renters. The Maintenance staff are top notch allways available and helpful. I'd recommend themm to anyone and everyone.
RENTERS BEWARE!! Please beware if you are going to be moving here and planning on splitting rent payments. This office likes to make last minute changes to payment policies, most the time we find out in the last weeks of the month. They have made it almost impossible for roommates splitting rent to pay. Unless you can get your payments all on one card, all at once online or are comfortable walking into a Walmart with thousands of dollars cash because they don’t take money orders anymore, only QR scanners to make it more convenient for the office staff. QR readers only take cash!! So sketchy!! Never had a payment with money orders until they switched payment systems and decided processing them were too much work. The office confirmed they cleared just took a while. Shame on Palomar view for making things so difficult for your residents but at least your 9-5 is easier!! Gotta pay those food trucks somehow.
What a terribly managed property. It’s a nice location, sure, but it totally has that slum vibe as soon as you drive to your building and walk into your apartment. I’m not sure they even have grounds keepers after walking past the same trash on the ground day in and day out. Some residents spill smelly food and sticky drinks up and down the stairways and on the walls, but apparently management doesn’t believe in power washing or cleaning anything. You need to hold your breath if you don’t want to gag on the way to your apartment. The parking for visitors is poorly marked and idiotic. They have a red sign marking visitor parking, and the SAME RED SIGN with a tiny change in verbiage to denote resident parking. There’s a high chance your visitor’s will get towed if they park there at night, so be prepared to drive them to the impound lot after they visit. God help you if you ever decide to live here.
