Steeped in history and unique culture, Baltimore is among America’s most culturally-rich cities. Centuries spent as a major port city have contributed to a diverse mix of influences, resulting in the eclectic range of food and art found in Baltimore today. The relatively compact layout of the city makes life a bit easier for pedestrians and cyclists — it also means that, even though the city is home to over 600,000 people, it retains the feel of a much smaller community. The city’s neighborhoods display a huge degree of variety, ranging from rowhouses to high-rise apartments to charming suburban subdivisions.
It’s an excellent city for sports fans, with the Orioles and the Ravens representing Baltimore in the big leagues. The arts community is quite active in Baltimore as well, largely thanks to the Maryland Institute College of Art and the huge Artscape festival that draws thousands every May.

Property Ratings at Pangea Oaks
In all honesty, nothing in this property really surprised me. Its a decent sized space for me, my sister, and our two pets. The walls are thin so you may here an argument here and there. There is often a group of dudes at the store right in front of the apartment which can be a bit irritating for young women moving in. Moving in was a struggle so I would recommend not putting furniture together until you're in the apartment. Rental office reached out to me once or twice about rent increases, maintenance checks, etc., but other than that never really needed things fixed. Overall, its not necessarily the most modernly renovated apartments but it lived up to my expectations.
Property Manager at Pangea Oaks, Responded To This Review
Thank you so much for your honest and thoughtful review. We value feedback like this and use it to continue to improve every day. We're sorry your experience with us wasn't perfect, but glad to see that overall you were satisfied with your apartment. Please feel free to contact us if there's anything we can help you with, or if there's anything else you'd like to discuss.
I have lived here for two years and my AC has only worked for 1. Mold in all the windows and blinds which they never change. Maintenance will never solve your problem the first or second time they come out. And don't need emergency maintenance because they don't come until the morning. If you live on the bottom floor you WILL hear every footstep from above, and I mean EVERY. parking spaces are so small you can't open your car doors without hitting somebody else car. Nobody is ever in the rental office. The laundry room door floods when it rains, and it's a stupid bar over it making it hard to get in and out, also its dirty and the dryers barely work so you have to dry twice. I have no clue who they paid to give a 5 star but trust this place is horrid and I can't wait until my lease is over.
Property Manager at Pangea Oaks, Responded To This Review
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, but I'm sorry to see you've had so many issues here with us. I spoke to your Property Manager who is aware of the water coming through your window, but we were to understand that everything regarding that has been resolved. If you're still having issues with that please let us know and we'll be happy to stop by again and take a look. She also isn't aware of issues with your A/C, but if you have the same problem once it's warmer again we can definitely come and take care of that for you. Regarding the noise issue, while we can't guarantee you'll never hear your neighbors, we do expect everyone to be courteous of others. We are more than willing to speak to anyone on your behalf if anyone is being excessively loud and remind them to keep noise levels down. We will also look into your comments about the laundry room and parking lot to determine how we can best alleviate those frustrations for you and your fellow residents. Please feel free to let us know if there's anything else we can help you with as well.
You can NEVER get thru on the phone to anyone. You always have to leave a message. Only way I have got to a person oh and still got transferred to leave a vm is when I hit the prompt to speak with a rep about signing my lease. And I never have time to go in the office because I work 8 to 8. It's very frustrating and not to mention annoying. I have never lived at a place where you have 2 direct numbers yet never speak to anyone on the phone. I can call first thing in the morning or mid day and still nothing. I hit the resident prompt and still voicemail. Another resident told me to call the Chicago line or the main corporate number that's how they got someone to come out asap. But I shouldn't have to so that when I have people on site. I
NICOLE PAYE is her name she works in the office of pangea on garrison blvd. What she did this morning proves the definition of excellent customer service it started at 930 am and she even work through her lunch break until she made sure I had every document I needed. She well deserves some recognition because not only did she handle everything via email I didn't have to wait almost an half hour for a response she responded in a matter of seconds. So to the company of pangea she needs more than just a thank you or good job
STAY AWAY! Walls are paper thin...you can everything your neighbors are doing, saying, watching on TV. Sewage backups, moisture problems, management is awful, and multiple times maintenance or subcontractors have come into my place with no notice. Can't wait to leave!
This community is a great place to live. It is close to downtown and is in a very quiet neighborhood. The managment is great, when ever something has to get fixed it is done quickly. So happy I moved here.
