Walker’s Point has become a restaurant hotspot in Milwaukee. Newer lofts mingle side-by-side with older brick apartment buildings in this quasi-industrial, trendy neighborhood, which sits immediately southwest of Milwaukee's downtown.
As you stroll the streets past the neighborhood's mix of popular bars and tapas joints, you’ll find an incredible mix of upscale choice. Restaurants in Walker's Point tend to use locally-sourced food, some from artisanal producers right in the neighborhood. National Avenue and Interstate 43 serve as the major thoroughfares in this part of Milwaukee, making it easy to commute across the river or anywhere else.

Property Ratings at Paper Box Lofts
I've been trying to get in touch with someone but none of the numbers works and no one responds to the emails.I even went to the office and they were closed but there was a note on the door saying not to knock because they will not answer anything other than a text. Just horrible.
since moving in 6 months ago I have had my mail stolen 3 times. I have seen at least 5 cars that were broken into over the night, and there is constantly trash left around the building and maintenance issues. The manager been unwilling to help with most of these issues, and is typically only here 3 days a week (if that) till the early afternoon.
Don't even waste your time & hard own money moving too this place. It's gone cost you more to live here than you pay your rent, you got people stealing and breaking into cars. There's no where to even park on the street for your guest. The management is horrible and so inconsiderate. The police is here every other week. Fights and it's dirty. People don't throw they trash down the chute they leave it just sitting. It was once a good place but they switched managements and it went left. Don't let the showing early in the morning fool you, the loud happens at night ! It's definitely better out there.
dirty and management does not care about tenants. they just want to get the most money out of those who live there. people always fighting and police being called
I moved October 2019 and my least is almost up I have 3 bedroom 2 bathroom and it’s gorgeous!
I recently moved to Paper Box Lofts in mid July. I was a little nervous reading other reviews but very happy I moved here. My apartment is beautiful and I have a gorgeous view. The property manager is friendly and the maintenance man is beyond helpful and immediately made me feel welcomed. The building is extremely well kept and cleaned. There is also a cleaning crew that comes daily to sanitize, mop, and clean the common areas. This is a very diverse building in a busy urban area so parking can be an issue if you are not willing to walk a block or two. There is surface and underground parking which is extra but plenty street parking if you don’t mind a short walk. All dogs are kept under control by owners and grounds clean of any waste. There are many families here so you might hear some noise but nothing overly loud and it’s quiet by 9pm. Other reviews mentioned the neighborhood being questionable if you are not familiar with the area and do not realize the challenges that face this neighborhood then this probably isn’t the place for you to move. This rental community is safe, cameras and even security at night. I have not had any issues and never felt unsafe.
It’s been entirely too hard to even get ahold of someone to inquire about a tour etc. Then I finally had a scheduled showing, and no one ever showed up. I Would not even recommend living here from that situation alone. You need to do better
very helpful staff and very clean building. They even helped me move my things in!
Do not live here!!!! It has been my worst experience ever.. It's always dirty ALWAYS and problem after problem! Lease is finally up and I am extremely happy to leave this unprofessional garbage!!!
I hate I had to give it 1 star!!!!!! I HATE living here and it's only been a week its extremely loud it's like a zoo but in the hood!!! Horrible place to live! Oak brook will rent to anyone and move you in to a place with no rules and structure. Don't even bother mentioning an issue to The apartment manager she doesn't care because she doesn't have to live here! I am definitely dreading moving here and wish I would have stuck with impact seven at national avenue lofts! DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! Especially if your expecting your apartment to be cleaned before you move in or if you want peace and quiet or parking! You won't get any of that here!
The manager here Is completely amazing. She is very concern with what is going on in the building. Her dedication to helping is beyond what I would expect. The apartments layouts can be a bit tough but the floor plans are so amazing. I appreciate that they kept a lot of things from the company who previously owned it. Its really nice to see the history of what my place use to be
I love where I stay I just wish they had a better cleaning crew :)
