Property Ratings at Papermill Square
This is a great place to live. This is a very quite neighborhood. The staff is wonderful and help when needed. The apartments are nice and they are doing great updating on the property. Love the new washers that they have recently put in. The salt water pool is great also. Very close to interstate, grocery store and shopping places.
I'm on my 16th year, very quiet and affordable, the staff is always great,if there's a problem it doesn't go unsolved. What I find most amazing are the neighbors, very polite and respectful. You can't go wrong with this conplex, everyone is pretty awesome.
I've lived at Papermill Square Apts for 3 1/2 years. I've lived here during my late 20's and early 30's and it has been the perfect location for easy access to any side of the city. Within 20 minutes I can be in Turkey Creek, Fountain City, East Knoxville, or South Knoxville. Plus it's only 10 minutes from West Town Mall! For the most part it stays pretty quiet and most everyone keeps to themselves. During my stay I've experienced 4 different waves of office staff. However, the current office staff is tremendous. In less than a year, Krystle and Tonya have refinished the pool (now it's saltwater-yay), held a pool party to kick off summer which included live entertainment, have had several gift card giveaways just because, pizza nights, taco night has been scheduled, and plans for a new dog park and pet waste stations (which has been needed for a while). Also, any visit to the office means you're getting spoiled with candy, hugs, laughter, and yes... treats and loving for your furry friends. In the time I've been here I've never felt unsafe or alone but have always had plenty of privacy. I'm very grateful to have chosen PSA as my home!!!
Papermill Square apartments in Knoxville, TN are a solid value. They are clean and affordable. The office workers are always friendly and very helpful. The maintenance man quickly responds to any troubles. It is well located near various necessities. Other tenants are nice and quiet. I am nothing but very satisfied with my stay here.
Papermill Square is a smaller complex, located just across the interstate from the Bearden area, so you're close enough to all the great restaurants and shopping of Bearden, as well as within a 5 minute drive of downtown and the West Town Mall. However, because of the separation by the interstate, you feel like you're getting away from the noise of the city. The apartments themselves are great, for the price you pay. These are some of the better priced units in Knoxville while still being so close to everything. We've actually lived in both the 1 bedroom and 2 bedroom units, and I have to say that I would recommend the 2 bedroom hands down. They are located on the bottom of the buildings, and the 1 bedrooms are stacked above. Because they are partially basement units, the 2 bedroom units stay cool in the summer, which keeps the Utility bill down. They're also spacious, with the 1000 square feet you get and they include an eat in kitchen. If you happen to get a 1 bedroom unit, they're great too, but I would recommend getting one of the units facing away from the parking lot. The units that face away from the parking lot all have balconies, while the ones that face the parking lot have porches if they're on the ground floor. The 1 bedroom units also don't have central heating and air, rather they rely on a wall unit that quite frankly doesn't keep the unit as cool or as warm as we'd like, but that's just a minor gripe. The construction of the units is great, the cabinets in the kitchen and bathrooms are well made and spacious. If you happen to get an older unit that still has carpet in it, then your kitchen and bathroom will have older linoleum in it that doesn't look quite as nice as the linoleum wood that they've installed in the updated units. As for the grounds, they're well taken care of. There's a tennis court, a pool, a basketball court, and there's supposed to be a dog park opening up soon. These apartments are very pet friendly, and there are plenty of areas around the complex to walk your dog and still stay out of the parking lot. That brings me to the staff. Krystal and Tonya have always been super helpful, and they always seem to be busy. You won't have any problems there. My only complaint about these apartments are that the location isn't feasible for biking or walking to the Bearden area. This isn't the apartment's fault, rather the city of Knoxville not having a sidewalk along Papermill Road.
Lived here a year friendly office ladies and very quick matience repairs. Pretty nice apartment can't hear the neighbors through the walls which makes it alot better than previous apartments I've lived at.
