Great location and nice communal amenities. Extremely poor turnover between tenants and very slow maintenance team. Over two weeks for any repairs and I have been living without a dishwasher, toilet seats that are not properly attached, a fridge that was wedged into position so forcefully it ripped open the wall and a completely useless laundry room door.

DO NOT live at The Nines. Both before and after the change in management, this place has been horrific. The rent is not an accurate estimation of what you will pay. They charge almost $200 extra in community utilities and ridiculous fees. The "upgrades " are all cosmetic and not functional. There is a major pest problem with cockroaches. We requested maintenance over 10 times, sometimes they never showed but claimed they did, other times they'd show up, say they'd come back to fix something and never return. More over, we requested a 13 month lease originally - denied. Instead we asked to rent 12 months but move in 2 weeks prior since the unit was available (and they wouldn't allow us to hold the unit until the 1st) and pay for that extra 2 weeks - denied. So we had a lease ending in the middle of the month. Now new management comes in and we request just to finish out our month due to MEDICAL care for our daughter - denied. They will only allow a 3 month lease at a MUCH HIGHER rate IN ADDITION to charging us for that random 2 weeks (exactly what we requested at the start, how convenient). Nothing about this place is as advertised except the pool…..which they closed for several months and continue to periodically close randomly. DO NOT RENT AT THE NINES. They will screw you every which way.

Well cant say this place is perfect but what i can say is thing is my living hell. day 1, came in to check the place out since they showed up a completely different unit wanted to see if everything was alright. it wasn't took about 80 pictures of major problems that really haven't been fixed at all and yes i let the office know about all the problems within a week of moving in. month 2 someone threw dog poop at my door this has happened for a couple months now since im at 4/5 months but today is my breaking point someone that lives in the complex robbed my car everything was gone but some keys were left not my keys tho and they had a key fob to this places gym so im just assuming they live here. dont wanna scare ya just want to give my experience as a 20 year old, happy apartment hunting.

Paragon was wonderful, Nines is absurd. Ridiculous rents for what you get which is nothing, I think the only people who live here are through air b and b, it most photograph well. No service, wake up every morning to blowers, like living in a construction site

If I could leave zero stars I would. Absolutely DO NOT live here!! I have toured apartments with them twice and it was a beautiful renovated apartment. They told me I would get a renovated apartment and that they were all this way. When an apartment became available I applied and was so excited to move in. I was a little skeptical when I did not receive a lease until the day before move in day and it had all the wrong information in it, and this happened twice! But then, on move in day I got my keys and walked into my apartment for the first time to find a completely outdated unrenovated apartment even though I was told I would get one!! It was completely different than all of these pictures online and had very few of the amenities advertised under one bedroom apartments. The manager said the only thing they could do to fix it was to put me in another apartment but it would be $400 more a month in rent and wasn’t available for another month. Not apologetic at all. I even had movers coming in three hours. This company is beyond rude and lies to you throughout the entire process! It was a horrific experience and they have never apologized and I have yet to receive a refund even after telling me they would. Run from this place!

The new owners have destroyed this place and have raised rents to levels that make them uncompetitive. If you are willing to spend this much try the newer places with underground parking, better service, no construction. THe bumper car parking lot will end it for you.

Been here 3 weeks, pool was warm when temps were in the 110"s. Now with temps 105 and below it is unusable due to being so cold!!! No resort living here, if they can't heat a pool..... Pool area is empty every evening, long term renters have said they have given up requesting for heat to be turned on.... such a shame as it is a nice pool.... wish I had chosen the San Milan, did a tour late Friday and stepped into their pool which was a very comfortably temp. Landscaping is poor, ants everywhere, someone told me they had them in their walls. I cannot describe these spay painted counter tops, like nothing I have ever seen. Sales staff are all about sales... say no more... go elsewhere for cheaper!

Got here last week, have bugs, you can hear your neighbors above you do EVERYTHING. I came here for medical treatment and chose The Paragon because of the heated pool would help with my treatment and recovery.... THE POOL IS NOT HEATED!!! SO SAD, I could have chosen many other competitively priced communities near by!.... Leasing staff will tell you exactly what you want to hear...

Signed up rental for 6 months online, based on photos. Regretting my decision making. When you hear "Resort Living" you kinda expect a little beyond poor landscaping and a cold pool, no towels outside "signed out" towels from main office. Staff are very unfriendly, I am fro the mid-west, sorry to expect a simple 'hello" walking thru "Club House" area. They promote this area as having "community events" wine tasting, food trucks etc.... really folks, no one we have have talked to know what we are talking about.... You do a great job of over selling this place... be ashamed..... people need simple "HONESTY"

You don't get what you are promised. Staff have no people skills, you pass them throughout the day with absolutely no welcome, all 4 are all about sales, this screams "commission" . Neighbors who just moved in have cockroaches, they were told to "go buy bug spray", this place is going downhill, we anticipate another buy out... Pool is not heated to "resort living is not true", towels are available during office hours, sound insulation is non-existent, you here every step, flush and shower above you. Major construction of a huge apartment building going on across the street. Very poor landscaping upkeep no clean up in 3 weeks. Crazy tenant turn around, a lot of short term rentals.. is this a "medical rental" for Cancer Centers of America and the Mayo Clinic who pay high rent prices for patients? you are not part of "a community" as sold to you. Pool has poor upkeep with debris on pool floor, you will be alone every night after 6pm... as it is not heated... Beware of "ant infestation" at garbage area Have your staff do some "Whole Foods" customer training... if you don't love working here, don't work here!

Sales ladies are LIARS... moved in a week ago from out of state, liars, liars, liars...... at NON-HEATED POOL (main reason I chose this place} it seems natural sun heated, very cold in the morning..... "Resort Living".... there are no pool towels after unless "signed out within office hours.... I WORK...????) got golf ball hits within minutes of walking my dog... is that how they sell this place.... up-scale? Many unused cars look like they are abandoned an Audi with windows down a few parking spots down.... weird & scary. Gated Community... what a joke... first week coming home and leaving .. beyond hours..gates are open?? I asked about noise..... in first level was told... building in 2000, better sound control due to better construction... REALLY.......REALLY...I hear every step, every cheap cupboard closing, toilet flush, shower, laundry, another fake sell... I have bugs ... despite having just been "sprayed" what are you selling people????????????? You go thru the main office all 3 out of 4 staff are there (including manager), you have to walk around them, no one greets you... these folks need some people skills! Landscaping is a joke.. the main entrance is sparkling, behind the main front, you can go weeks without any landscaping clean-up, very messy... Simply put.... GO ELSEWHERE!

Pros: Convenient location, some staff are nice. Cons: COCKROACHES. I’ve lived here 3 months and have had an ongoing problem with cockroaches in my apartment. Upon learning of this, Debbie, the district manager, had the bright idea of moving me to another unit that was close to $400 more expensive due to it being “current market rate”. Identical layout. Please. I just signed a lease three months ago. So because their company can’t fix the problem they are asking me to pay more to change units? If anything they should be reducing my rent. COCKROACHES COCKROACHES COCKROACHES
I moved to the apartment and found out that the carpet is very dirty ! huge black spots randomly all over the apartment ! the carpet should have been replaced prior to my entrance , I am sure I will be charged for that. Also the dishwasher at the apartment is not working properly and leaving the dish's dirty, I complained many times and they replaced some parts and cleaned it but still having dirty dish's coming out after 2 hours cycle, The Paragon at Kierland could be a wonderful place to live in if the management cared about their tenants.
I only have fifty words. Overpriced. Rude staff. Ants in the walls. Yellow hot tub. Hatefully incompetent maintenance unresponsive to simple, three minute maintenance request items. Save your money and rent anywhere else.
I wonder how this apartment got five start rating reviews, I hope all the above reviews are fake. I lived in Paragon apartments for more than six months. First thing there is no security, secondly they try to squeeze money as much as they can. Third They don't have children play area, Fourth Rude management. Once I parked my car in my allocated garage and some one break my windshield,and management did not take any responsibility, in same week another car glasses was also break and theft a laptop from car by some one.After the lease end most of the case they will charge minimum $1,000 as fine, they will say carpet need to replace even though if you give the carpet neat and clean, it happen to me and my neighbor, I end up paying $1300 as fine, (Bottom Line : Hungry for Money )

The apartment is just 1000 sq feet, 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, so it is small and awkwardly designed so it doesn't maximize the space. We have an upgraded one, but the upgrades aren't that great, I have faux wood floors (no one would ever mistake them for real) throughout or tile so that is nice no gross carpet. My washer broke but they fixed it the same day and even washed the floor around it so maintenance is good and quick. Amenities are okay I guess, we have one pool (heated) and one hot tub, it is usually impossible to use the hot tub because there's like 20 people in it and really it is only big enough for maybe 5. The other amenities seem good but haven't gotten to use them because their remodeling them. They coin themselves as luxury apartments but it isn't much better than moderately priced places I have rented in Chandler and Tempe. The staff is just ehh, some are friendlier than others. Really what this place has going for it is it is across the street from Kierland Commons so location is nice especially since I work down the road. Oh the application process is a nightmare, seriously I have never had to jump through so many hoops to get a place and you'd think the complex would be safe considering its location and how rigorous their application process is but our car got broken into last month along with 3 or 4 other cars. I only got a 6 month lease so I'll be looking for something else soon.
