Property Ratings at Paraiso Estates
Management sucks. They don’t fix anything. And leave it to you to figure out. They will ignore any complaints for repairs probably because they don’t know how to fix it. Says a lot about the staff. Don’t plow don’t shovel don’t salt. Other then that it’s great.

Love the apartment and the location very safe. But the landlords are useless and put problems on you and won’t take care of anything. They blame you, don’t do their job and leave it to you to figure out.
This management sucks. Don’t care for residents, only themselves. Took away our parking spots. No lawn maintenance. Barely plow. Awful.

Youll wake up one morning and be kicked out! Poor management! No parking! No communication! Beautiful swamp between the two buildings for you dog to go bathroom. Our livingroom floods when the snow melts in the spring. Every time it rains our patio literally floods and turns into a lake. Terrible.
This building has some positives and negatives no question. The playground here is cheap and very boring for kids 100 percent. No benches(No grills) and very little amenities for residents. When we moved here a few months ago we were told by the current manager (Kathy) that these amenities would be addressed and just last week we were told by her other office staff that corporate decided not to address or fix these issues. I am tired of being lied to.
I have lived in many apartments in the last 20 years and I have noticed the electricity rates for Paraiso Estates is very expensive for a small two bedroom apartment. My average bill during the summer months with the A/C set on 75 Low energy saver and only on during the daytime for a few hours my bill would still be typically be $150... And during the fall/winter months my bill would still be around $98 to $115. And folks when you move into this building even if ur credit score is average the electric company forces you to pay a hefty security deposit of $100 to $300 before they will put the electric service in your name. I would absolutely reconsider moving here.
This is honestly a great place to live. You're in a quiet area, the apartments are very nice. Managment is still new, and are cleaning up the mess the previous management left behind. They're doing a fantastic job at making these apartments a great place to live. Managment is very caring, they're prompt to address and fix any issues you might have. Kathy, she is such a wonderful and caring woman, stop out and meet her, talk with her, see for yourself if you're considering these apartments. You won't be disappointed! These apartments were owned by a different company and are now owned by Campbell properties, so any flaws you find here, is not their fault, but doing the best they can to fix it, (standing water, the kids park, the garages) Everyone here that I have met are so friendly and nice(management and tenants). There may be a bad apple here and there, but managment is quick to address any issues and quick to get them out if they're wreaking havoc around here. Honestly a very peaceful place to call home. I have been here a long while, these are the best apartments by far. Like I said, if you are thinking about moving here, and you're concerned about any of these reviews, stop in, ask questions, address your concerns. I'm going to assume the reviews were left by hostile tenants who didn't like having to move because of their own poor choices while here. I love it here.
I am upset I have to give these horrible people a one star. There are a plenty of reasons one should never, ever do business with this company. They care about one thing, and one thing only Money. They purchased the property my mother has lived in (as well as my child and I off and on) and have absolutely neglected it on every level. This was once a wonderful community of people whom knew one another's faces and names. I am pretty sure that this is just a tax right off for them, so why bother caring about the bunch of long term tenants that they have driven away. Now, they make no attempt at filtering what kind of tenants come in. I was taking my trash out the other day and was approached by a seedy looking couple of guys who asked me if I needed any drugs. I don't think they even live in this building and yet they seem to be in and out. of it constantly. We have filed several complaints about the people above us and the excessive amounts of noise they make and they pretty much told my 70 year old mother who has made this her home for a long time to move if she doesn't like it. They are unorganized. They have straight lied in several situations with us. They have a maintenance guy who I think is a massively creepy guy who knocks so lightly on the door you can't hear it. Instead of knocking louder, he very quietly enters without permission when its clear that there are people inside. He scared the hell out of us doing so one day and I told management and this weirdo still has a job. This isn't even close to all I could say, but I think you get the point. This is a awful company to do business with across the board.
Began renting with the promise of a pool coming soon. We never got a pool. Some surprises we were given were: a fee for doggy DNA testing (on top of pet rent), several monthly passive aggressive "newsletters", poorly managed parking area which literally left no where to park if you didn't work certain hours during snow, an apartment rainwater/groundwater leak due to poorly designed drainage, very lackluster grounds keeping, they had a community room which was extremely useful for hosting guests that they took away and turned into an office. The building was nice but is definitely going downhill. We signed up to a nice apartment with promises for more amenities. We received an ever declining building with reduced amenities. Left me feeling very dissatisfied. I will certainly be moving in a couple of months.
Five cars including the mail truck got stuck in Paraiso Apartments parking lots today because the manager here is to lazy to get the parking lots cleaned after the storm was over hrs ago. I would definitely reconsider moving here the management is terrible here.
The apartments are nice, BUT managanent isnt the best. They give little notice, less than 24 hours, to move your vehicle, then they tow it away if you're not out. They arent rhe best when it comes to plowing/shoveling. Some residents on the first floor shovel at times just to keep the walkways a little bearable when management doesn't do it quick enough. There's only 3 machines in the "workout room". They are slow to respond to messages as well. If you're willing to deal with management then these apartments are for you!
I lived on property for almost a year next month and let's just say I will not be renewing my lease. Some of us older folks have a harder time moving our vehicles with the very short notice they give us to do so. My goodness and if your vehicle is not moved out of the lot at exactly 8:00 the tow truck is already there hooking your car up.
The property management provides less than 24-hour notice of winter snow removal and has any vehicles left in the lot towed. At Paraiso street parking isn't available overnight so there is less than 1-hour window to avoid a parking ticket or being towed.
The property manager is slow to take care of maintenance requests with some going months without being adressed.
