Lyndhurst is a suburban township stretching between the Hudson River and the Hackensack River, just minutes due west of Manhattan. The easy access to New York City has made Lyndhurst a popular option for commuters, with NJ Transit rail service to Penn Station only being about a thirty-minute ride. The community’s rental market includes a broad variety of apartments, condos, and single-family homes, including numerous units in beautifully-preserved historic brick buildings.
Shops and restaurants are spread throughout the neighborhoods, making it easy to do some shopping or grab a bite to eat without having to drive. One of the townships’ most famous landmarks is the Lyndhurst Pastry Shop, known throughout the region as one of the best places to find traditional Italian cakes and pastries.

Property Ratings at Parc at Lyndhurst
I am a current resident here and cannot wait to get out of my lease! READ REVIEWS FROM PEOPLE WHO ACTUALLY LIVE HERE AND NOT JUST TOURED IT!!!! ****if you have any kind of respiratory issues run far away! People smoke cigarettes RIGHT IN FRONT of the lobby doors everyday and smoke is in your face when trying to get in your place of residence, the hallways and stairs stink like POT(marijuana)at least once a week****** Packages are RARELY placed in the mailroom that we pay for. Not to mention the place looks like a garbage truck dropped off its collections. Garbage chutes are backed up about 3 times a week and garbage is piled in the hallways. If you call lyndhurst health department they will tell you the multiple calls they received about here. ****STAY AWAY***!!!!

Went to see the apartment after I was told that everything was OK. I get there the girl told me that I didn't qualify and she was only counting me and my mom after I told her that there is a 3rd person on the application as well. Then she showed me a small 1 bedroom apartment and said that a handicap guy used to live there until he moved. I've noticed that anybody can rent there, but when it came down to me, my mom and husband we get declined

Thank you for your interest in our community. We are always upfront with prospective residents about our application process, and we are sorry to hear that you were disappointed. We wish you well in your search for a new home.
I've had a good experience living here the last couple of years. The kitchen is nicely done and the apartment is nice and spacious. Staff is always very helpful and I feel like the apartment is a great price for all of what you get. I do use the gym and it is always clean and nice. The courtyard is great and fun to hangout on nice days. So far, so good!

Great building, excellent management team, very spacious apartments, reasonable prices for the area and location, and nice amenities. Great place to live.

My husband and I were considering renting here until we spoke to friends who rented a two bedroom apt. and are very unhappy. Although the units are open and spacious, and they are pet friendly, and many of the tenants are very nice, and the building appears to be updating, the fees and rent are ridiculous for a two bedroom. There were so many issues that came to our attention our heads were spinning. To name just a few, theft of packages, tenants who physically accost other tenants, the older tenants yell at the dog owners to get off the freight elevator because they don't like dogs, laundry room does not work properly, the weekend we stayed with our friends, we were shocked to see the entrance into the building was barely cleared of snow and ice, the parking lot was a disaster with snow and ice, not to mention potholes and large cracks, the back exit/side exit of the building, which leads down to the dog run, and widely used by many dog owners, was not touched at all. The steps and platform were iced over and very slippery. The tenants had to navigate the steps. It was absurd and negligent. This is the same exit where strangers sit on the steps, which has no lighting by the way, and smoke pot. My husband and I are pregnant, and, for us, as there is a day care/pre-shcool center in the building and obviously caring for young children, realizing that in the event of an emergency even ONE exit might be impassable for whatever reason, we decided to look elsewhere for our new home. We are paying more money, but we have a huge list of amenities that justify the amount, and, The Management Company at our new home cares more about its tenants than money or blaming other people for its negligence and/or lack of responsibility. They also honor good tenants and promote longevity. Please do not waste your money at this building.

I am a 29 year old guy who lives in a apt building. A quick run down of where i live. I have a neighbor who smokes constant weed and blasts music all hours of the night. i cant even have my daughter over. My dog has been eating a lot more because of the second hand smoke from the marijuana. I pay 1850 a month and it is not worth that price. On top of it, there is nothing but 60 plus year old women and men in my building. Every morning they have what seems to be coffee and stale cookies in the front in which the old people enjoy. Nobody says hi and when i do they give me a look. Laundry is always a fight, out of the 15 machines only 3 to 5 work and the dryers all work. When the dryers are broke, all the washers are working. This is only a quick rundown. There is many many many other things wrong with this place.
