Kid Mania is a play center with a bouncing maze, arcade, and more.
MCL Grand Theater serves as the artistic and cultural hub of the community, hosting everything from gallery exhibitions to stage plays to dance recitals to classical and contemporary concerts, while the historic venue of the Greater Lewisville Community Theater hosts smaller-scale productions in a more intimate setting.
Lewisville Lake on the north side is a popular weekend trip destination among people all over the Dallas area, and locals enjoy the best access to the lake’s boating, fishing, and swimming.

Property Ratings at Parc Lake / Bay Shore Village
All the positive reviews are lies! This place sucks and no matter how they try to fix it up it STILL SUCKS!!!! Just recently found out that the residents have to pay for certain maintenance requests. Need a specific light bulb, you better buy them and they will not reimburse you at all but they will surely expect to raise the rent, god forbid they pay bulbs! They never return voicemails, the office staff sucks, there’s never enough parking because the people who have covered parking will never use the covered parking. They had a towing service that they no longer use. Why do I have to pay $50+ to use a spot and have a sticker when they allow anyone to park here! Oh, ROACHES!!! They don’t do crap for that. Called over the summer to have the place sprayed. They can ONLY do Wednesdays during the working hours and someone has to be here for the guy only for them to CANCEL on us the last minute and have never rescheduled. If it’s not roaches, it’s ants, if it’s not bugs, it’s mice. The current unit I’m in everything is falling apart but hey! I gotta pay for that right?
Property Manager at Parc Lake / Bay Shore Village, Responded To This Review
I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to reach out to address and apologize for any confusion or inconvenience you may have experienced regarding our policies on parking charges and pest control services. Please allow me to clarify that we do not impose charges for covered parking for our residents. Parking fees are only applicable to unauthorized occupants and visitors to ensure ample parking availability for all our valued residents. Regarding pest control services, I would like to emphasize that these are conducted weekly, every Wednesday. To ensure your unit receives the necessary service, we kindly ask that you prepare for these visits accordingly. It's important to note that if there are minors present or if the door is double-locked from the inside, preventing our pest control team from entering, we will need to reschedule the service to ensure the safety and privacy of our residents. We understand that your comfort and satisfaction are paramount, and we are committed to providing a living environment that meets your expectations. Should you have any questions or need further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Warm regards,
This place has been a really bad experience living here I’ve always paid rent early never been late. When I need repairs there’s always a delay I complained about roaches they sent someone to come spray but it did not help, so we I complained about them needing to do something about the roaches they got us pest and gave me a 30 day notice to vacate all because they did not want to accommodate my request and retaliation that I complained. Last year someone hit my car the leasing office didn’t offer to do anything about it they don’t have security camera I have had my packages stolen on more than one occasion, they also gave on of there workers to enter my apartment without permission while I was home they didn’t even send me a notice that anyone needed to come into the apartment for inspection when it comes time for me to move out I have a feeling they will try to keep my deposit I will take pics of everything so I can have proof that everything is in good standing.
If i could give this apartment zero stars i would. They did not change my a/c filter for 6 months so when it started to get hot the whole unit froze up. It took me going up to the office and basically having a fit because it was 80 degrees outside and 90 inside. I have requested MULTIPLE times to get sunblocking screens on my windows as my loft faces the sun all day...even SOME window screens would be nice, but that was never done. I have lived here for 9 months. I asked if i could put a window unit in because even though the a/c works it still gets unbearably hot, unless youre in the kitchen. This place has HORRIBLE management and the poor maintenance man is seems like he is just worn out. This is ridiculous. I found out in November that i had cancer and i have been having to deal with this on top of multiple surgeries and chemotherapy. The rent here is WAY too expensive for the crappy apartments they say are "updated"
The management is always polite and they listen to your issues about repairs. They do their best to schedule the repairs to get done as promptly as they can. They were great as for giving me a second chance proving that I am aware of the tenant and I have been here for over a year. I live close to the office and it’s very quiet and quiet means a lot to me as a full-time college student.
Love my view from my front door open space outside for my kids to run and play love the pool and price is awesome ThanksParcLake??
The management has been making conscious efforts to accommodate residents professionally. Maintenance has been maintaining punctuality on work orders. Essentially a great area for families to make their residence. Security available & easily accessible to the property.
I have been here a month and they gave me a second chance ... It's going well.my apartment is clean good neighbors no bugs... I am happy.
1 lived there for a year and a half to build renters credit 2. People don’t recycle 3. No one goes swimming because they are afraid of how they apartments take care of the pool 4. You’ll never see a manager because she’s “always on break” or “stepped out” 5 office ALWAYS switches front desk people. Even their employees and maintenance doesn’t want to work there. 6. Maintenance will never seem to get the job done. Took them 2 weeks to change my light bulb that required a ladder for me to get to. 7. Each time it rains, water fills my dining room from the roof. 8. THE y Never works, luckily the heater did, even though it took 4x for them to come and keep fixing it because by law they are required to. 9. Summer is so hot, you’ll want to get spray bottles to cool everyone down in the apt. 10. People fight outside all the time in the parking lot and patios 11. No one gives a crap about dog poop 12. It took 2 years for them to fix their own office that had a fire 13. After moving out, a nearby building caught fire, (I wonder why) 14. So many people hangout in the parking lot, you won’t feel safe, and if you have kids, keep them inside because they are dangerous and tried attacking my girlfriend
I had to stay at this apartment because I was locked into a lease i regret signing. They don’t fix anything and the kids that live there are horrible and there is no fitness anymore and roaches too. I would rather live in a cardboard box. I can not wait for my lease to be up... Bayshore is worst!!!!!
Where do I start. The office workers are disrespectful. Not the manger, bless her heart. I’ve been staying in Parc lake since 2014, same unit. I can’t get an upgrade in my apartment. Maintenance won’t come fix anything. My family had to wake up with no water and hadn’t received a notice from the city or the leasing office. My dishwasher hasn’t been fixed since summer 2017. The foundation is horrible, my front door doesn’t lock when the seasons change. They complain about dog poop but fail to treat the newly established dog park. Maintenance comes to your house as they please no notice or workorder present. My AC went out and as the weather increases, I have called and made many complaints, still no one has come to fix the problem. The AC is soooooo outdated, I’ve watched leasing selectively pick units to improve. Don’t you think you should take care of who’s paying? Overall this isn’t a good place. There are houses more affordable and better established than these apartments in this area. Call A realtor
RE-POSTING BECAUSE THEY DELETED THE FIRST ONE! I moved into Parc Lake in April 2016. I HATE THIS PLACE! The problems started BEFORE I even moved in. When I went to sign my lease, I discovered I was assigned the wrong floor plan. I was told by the leasing agent I could move again when the floor plan I asked for was available. This was not a solution as my furniture is too big for me to move by myself and I do not have another $750 to pay movers. Within the first month I lived there, electrical surges fried my microwave, my toaster oven, 2 of my surge protectors, and the kitchen light switch. (TNMP has since replaced a transformer near my building, and these issues are resolved.) Over the summer of 2016, my refrigerator stopped working. I requested a new one when paying my rent but was told they would fix it. They “fixed” it and it worked for a week before having the same problem. They “fixed” it a second time and tell me it broke because I set the temperature too low (it wasn’t getting cold, I lowered the temp to preserve my groceries). It breaks down again after two weeks. When I called for the THIRD time because the refrigerator was not cold, they finally replaced it with one that opens the wrong way. Now my refrigerator works, but blocks access to the kitchen when the door is open. I had to pay to replace the contents of my refrigerator/freezer TWICE. In October 2016, I asked to be placed on the waiting list for a garage. (There is a waiting list because the garages need to be repaired.) I was told in November and December that I was second or third on the list and should get a call any day saying I had a garage. The call never came. When I asked in January 2017, I was told they did not know when garages would become available because they needed to fix the office. The building that houses the office and laundry room burned down November 8, 2016. Not sure how the fire in November kept them from making repairs during the first 10 months of the year, but that is the line I was given. As of December 2017, the office is still under construction and the laundry facilities advertised here do not exist.
