The community and amenities have exceeded our expectations, the building is always clean, the staff are friendly and welcoming, and any maintenance request is handled promptly.
It is nice, and is a good location in terms of airport, highways, and the city. But the price is not always reflective of the experience.

We rented this apartment without ever having physically seen it as we were moving here with very little notice from Texas. We used Apartments.com and searched for 4/5 star apartments in the area and quickly found Park 205. The apartment community is VERY well maintained, it's in a great location with a great little downtown area with lots of little shops and local eats. The maintenance response rate is crazy fast and the office staff are friendly and efficient. Not only that, but our apartment is incredibly quiet and RIGHT next door to Whole Foods so grocery shopping is easy. The only reason we didn't rate this place a perfect 5 stars is due to a few minor things (I would have rated it 4.5 stars if that was an option). We have a 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom unit and there is no pantry...and not a ton of kitchen storage. I was actually super surprised there was no pantry and we had to do some creative storage things as we came here from a home in Texas. Among the small things that kept it from being a 5: The refrigerator door was all scratched up (minor scratches, no big deal) and the master bedroom is pretty small. Once our bed was in, there was almost no room for the dresser. It fits, but you can't open the drawers all the way because it's too close to the bed. A weird design thing was that the sprinklers and alarms and vents are all installed in the walls instead of the ceiling and at weird places so it's really hard to hang pictures because there is always something in the way. Other than those minor things, the place is really very very nice.

The environment around apartment is good and it is easy to access to restaurant, bank, supermarket, and train station by walk.
Staff is great and there is a sense of community here. Feels like tenants look out for each other a bit. I just moved from an elevator building in the city and am not used to that LOL
So pet friendly, and it's hard to find places that are so welcoming to dogs especially bigger ones.
Gym could be updated a bit. Some of the machines aren't very good and it's missing some typical stuff
It's a good building, well-maintained. The cost per square foot coupled with add-ons like parking, storage, and pet rent is very high and it would be hard for most people in my circle to justify the cost.
I am totally satisfied with all aspects of my living here.
I would recommend this apartment because of the amenities that it provides while also being in a great area for a family to grow.
This place is the best, location amenities, service. I wouldn’t live any other place
The complex is maintained very well--clean, upgraded when necessary, repairs made when necessary, has nice amenities, apartments are spacious and complex is well-situated to many everyday needs.
I moved from out of state and am really enjoying the building and area. The staff is wonderful and made the move so easy
Park 205 has been our home since it opened in the fall of 2015. We downsized from a large house in Chicago and had some concerns but we couldn't be happier. The building and property are constantly being maintained. The management and maintenance staff are exceptionally diligent and responsive. Park Ridge has everything we need. We walk to the Metra, movie theater, church, restaurants, library, grocery and retail stores and more.

The specific apartment available had a balcony view of the Whole Foods parking lot and the apartment was only 765 sq. ft. - a little small for my needs.

I would highly recommend living at Park 205. My apartment is beautiful. I love the neighborhood, pool and living next to Whole Foods is so awesome.

Some tenants are disrespectful to neighbors and common areas. Aggressive Dog Breed exclusions are too specific there are dogs in the building that are aggressive but allowed to be in the building because of the breed.

On the merits--location, size, amenities, staff, I would recommend the apartment. However, as said, the "added" services seem a little high, which could possibly eliminate some people.

I am really on the hump on deciding whether or not I will renew my lease. I have a noisy neighbor who lives above me who is loud. I am also nervous about the flooding that could occur again in the courtyard as I am on the main floor. I am also concerned that outdoor parking is now be charged and the cost of Rental for club room has gone up significantly.

The building and my unit are nice but a bit overpriced. Can rent a whole house in the area for the same or cheaper.
The apparent complex is located in a great area ! You keep the building clean! The apartment is very good in terms of the kitchen and room I am given considering I am in a 1 bedroom apt. The only issue for me is your recent change of the parking situation. By charging 50 dollars for outside spaces there is not enough spaces for guests versus the number of apparements! By doing this there is an whole garage that is not being used! Small recommendation just build the parking into the rent ( don?t separate it out). By doing so you leverage the underground garage and restore more parking for guests!
I would not recommend the 205 building to anyone on a tight budget. Also, I could not recommend the building to anyone sensitive to noise from automobiles and airplanes. Some units are more desirable than others.
Very nice location close to all of my needs but guest parking could be a big issue. Extremely disappointed with this latest decision to assigned parking. Not many area options (none) for visiting relatives or outside service people or even tenants who cannot afford any additional expense for parking. Low blow given the fact that this was originally touted as an amenity before signing. I
I would recommend Park205. Management is friendly and efficient. The building is dog and cat friendly and everyone has a dog or cat. The building has a fantastic location and I love the fact that the building won silver for LEED Certification, my utility bills are low because of it.
