The quaint neighborhood of Love Field takes its name from the Dallas Love Field Airport, the largest attraction and amenity in the neighborhood. This highly rated airport features artwork, museums, and a variety of restaurants. The Frontiers of Flight Museum features aircraft, exhibits, and offers educational programs on aviation history that are entertaining for the whole family. They even host different events and summer camps for kids at the museum throughout the year.
Just north of the airport is Bachman Lake, surrounded by Bachman Lake Park. Residents of Love Field enjoy the park’s three-mile hike and bike trail, picnic areas, boating opportunities, recreation center, indoor aquatic center, and scenic views of the lake with airplanes often flying above. Other parks reside in the area, as well as shopping and entertainment venues. Inwood Village provides a multitude of shopping and dining experiences and houses Landmark’s Inwood Theater, a classic theater with movies and martinis.

Property Ratings at Park 5940 MD
Lived here for a couple of years and have had terrible experiences dealing with some of the leasing agents in the office. Especially recently, I have found that he was not only unwilling to help or even attempt to reconcile issues that were the fault of the property, but he was extremely rude and sarcastic with me. The unit itself was very nice, and the location is good, but those are the only real pros. Issues with pests, broken doors, elevators, parking, that were never resolved in my time there.
This little community sits in the heart of the Medical District. It offers two lovely pools, and an adequate workout room. It is located conveniently to Dallas Love Field. There's a small but nice dog park, however, some residents have difficulty picking up after their pooch. It is a non smoking community, but, again some residents do not comply. Rent is on the higher side. Noise can be an issue at times, due to the ongoing construction at UT Southwestern.
6 months living at Park MD and its been a very good living experience. Love the coffee machine available in the mornings. Gym is great. The maintenance requests get done very quickly same day. The common areas are kept very clean. I wish the business office area would re-open for after hour use, however I understand that certain residents were not able to use the space respectfully so they close it after 5pm. The common lobby area is still available 24/7. 10/10 great place to stay at the Medical District!
They continue to increase rent rates every year of living here. After living here for 3.5 years, another $200 increase was unbelievable and unaffordable. It's a good community but the pricing decisions come from corporate and there's no flexibility from the office staff.
My residence experience was overall positive. The facilities were well-maintained, and the staff was friendly and responsive. The sense of community among residents was strong, making it easy to connect with others. However, occasional noise disruptions were a downside. The location was convenient, providing easy access to essential amenities. Improvements could be made in terms of expanding communal spaces and organizing more community events to enhance the overall experience. One notable drawback was the inconsistency of the valet trash service, as it didn't always collect trash daily as promised.. A more reliable valet trash schedule would significantly enhance the overall residence experience.
I love it here! So close to everything! I have loved the amenities they offer to me and allows me to work on my schoolwork in peaceful environments.
Excellent staff. Very professional and knowledgeable and friendly. Repairs are done quickly. Nice and quiet building. There are friendly neighbors.
This community apartment is handy for its services including parking, maintenance, packaging delivery and more important thing is safe and live comfortable.
Park 5940 has been great. There are a whole bunch of amenities - like the pools, fitness centre, meeting rooms, even a printer and coffee machine in the common areas. We always feel welcome and warm here!
The environment here is very good, the attitude of the front desk staff is also very good, and the apartment is very comfortable. The environment is usually very quiet at night, with no noise.
It is a nice place with gym, two pools and a nice lobby. It is a little expensive for the small units and there are not groceries or pharmacies close. Anyway is a good place to live
Management isn’t the best and security can definitely be improved rather than focusing on simply towing cars. Apartments are beautiful and well maintained community though. Great amenities available
Maintenance is great! The poop at the dog park is outrageous! The prices keep going up too high without any real updates. The gym could be better. The restrooms by the gym have been closed since COVID. Very inconvenient.
Love the apartment complex. Pros: Gated/Safe complex, amenities( 2 pools, fitness center, game room), covered parking garage, close to downtown. Work orders are quick. Cons: A little pricey. It can be a pain going up and down the parking garage.
Love the community..super clean and they always respond on same day for any maintenance issues. They usually organize some events once in awhile which is a nice thing to meet and greet people .so far it is a pleasant stay.
The new management at Park 5940 MD is fantastic. The amenities here are great here as well. I am appreciative of the help I have received from the complex after an issue I had with prior management and would recommend living here. It is in a good location and the other residents are friendly, making it a comfortable place to live.
Cool place, great amenities and very caring personnel from the leasing office. I like the clubhouse to hang out and also the gym to work out
Great location, quiet & relatively clean… Just wished it was more affordable & that they rewarded loyal tenants. Rent has gone up dramatically each year.
Nice, smaller community with two lovely pools located in the Medical District within walking distance to UT Southwestern. The community is non- smoking, however with most rental communities, residents do not follow their lease agreement. A quaint little dog park just the right size, however, some residents refuse to pick up the waste, and it lays their. The rent is on the higher end.
I love this community. The shared spaces are super clean and they smell beautiful and fresh. The leasing office staff is very friendly and all the maintenance requests are promptly taken care of. Keep up the awesome work!
Staying here is great! It’s quiet and the property and units are well taken care of. The staff is friendly and helpful. I’ve been here a year and I’m renewing in the fall!
Great experience overall! Great area to live in, which is safe and very nice. There are very good amenities as well. Would recommend for sure.
Awesome to live here! So close to campus! I’m so excited to live here! It’s very roomy and specious for one person and I would highly recommend living here especially if your an incoming UTSW student. Wonderful amenities.
Great communication with leasing office, always kept clean in building, amenities, and around the grounds. No issues with noise or stealing.
It is a very good place to live but I think is so expensive because the neighborhood is not nice. There are noti groceries stores and pharmacy closer. Then you are dependant of delivery if you don't have car and sometimes the delivery is not enough diligent and your purchases sometimes disappear from the mail room
beautiful and clean, one star less because the wifi in the pool almost never works and although there is a kitchen with coffee bags, everything is always empty
We really appreciate the work ethics of the maintenance team, they always try their best to fix all kinds of problems in a timely manner, even during weekends or holidays. Special thanks to Alex for his hard work.
I live here for 3 years. I will say the apartment has a beautiful environment, perfect location. However, the recent price increases a lot no matter how long you live here.
I have lived here for 4 years and 5940 MD is a great place to live, especially for people who work at UTSW. Everyday, I only need to cross a street to get to my workplace, cannot be more convenient. The only thing that could be improved is the price, it would be perfect if the rent could be a little cheaper. Other than this, 5940 MD is the best apartment I have lived in.
In general, things are going well. However, I believe it would greatly improve the efficiency if your staff and manager could respond to emails more promptly, especially when the deadline is approaching. It becomes inconvenient when I have to wait for more than three days for a reply or have to send multiple follow-up emails to get a response. This delay in communication can lead to misunderstandings, especially when important decisions need to be made, such as unexpected rent budget adjustments.
Nice smaller community located within walking distance to UT Southwestern, two lovely pools, one nice sized and another small, more intimate and quaint.
I am so glad improvements are made especially in the garage area. The residents are also reminded regarding the policy or any changes therein. Safety is also a priority in the complex.
The new parking rules are a bit extreme and packages get stolen a lot but most of the management is very cooperative. The apartments itself are great and very well made.
I’ve enjoyed living here at Park 5940. The grounds are kept clean and it’s quiet. My neighbors seem friendly, and keep to themselves. Sadly, after two back to back SIGNIFICANT rent increases, it’s time to move on. Especially since rent prices have gone down in apartments nearby, including downtown and uptown. I hate moving, but feel like they don’t care to negotiate to be fair. I’ve tried before. The only cons worth mentioning is that some cars inside the garage has had its share of breakins and stolen tires over the past 6 years that I’ve lived here. There’s been times when the alarm has gone off at 1am or 3am randomly, with no explanation given. Other than that, It’s been a great experience.
Terrible management, smoking smell and noise and no instructions for guess parking registration.
As a resident of this community, I am thrilled to share my exceptional experience and the incredible sense of fulfillment I have found here. From the moment I moved in, I knew I had found a place I could truly call home. My experience as a resident in this community has been nothing short of exceptional. The warm and welcoming atmosphere, coupled with outstanding amenities, engaging events, and a dedicated management team, has made this a place I am proud to call home. I highly recommend this community to anyone seeking a comfortable, vibrant, and fulfilling living experience.
The apartment is great. The environment is nice and the condition of the apartment is new. Although I can hear some sound from my room, it is okay for me.
I have lived at Park 5949 for 2 years now. My overall experience has been good. Unfortunately due to the rates increasing, my time here has come to an end. My rent has increased $600 since moving here in 2021. Can’t say this is just this company but you would think companies would treat their current residents a little better than this. The staff here are nice and friendly but they company as a whole are ripping people off.
The complex is clean and taken care of. The neighbors are nice and quite. They make a great community. Superclose to UTSW buildings. Love staying here so far.
Very nice place beautiful and relax with so grate pools and gym and the people from the administration are so kindly. I miss the green areas and groceries in the neighborhood
Have loved living at Park 5940. Great access to the city, close to the Love Field for travel, and the medical center nearby is great for students.
The staff are professional and friendly. They will immediately address any problem. The maintenance is top notch. The amenities are excellent and convenient. There’s two pools to choose from. The building is calm and quiet with nice neighbors.
The leasing office is amazing. They always smile and do their best to help residents. And I really appreciate to the Maintanance team. They are always professional and carefully treated all my requests. Living in Park5940MD is wonderful.
Great environment to live in! Staff promptly responds to any questions or concerns. You feel like you are safe in this complex. Plus, it is clean which is very important
Hallways are always clean and amenities are always well taken care of . I am going into my third year here. Update: I love it here and I enjoy working with Andrea regarding my account. People seem not to know where to place trash in the community, which is very sad when everything is completely labeled. All of my neighbors are awesome and some are even my friends … I am not sure about the other parts of the community.
Nice, smaller community that sits in the heart of the Medical District, two lovely pools, and other amenities offered for residents who seek a social aspect of community living. The downside is the ongoing construction surrounding the property that creates boundaries and noise. I’m going on almost 2 years, and the construction never seems to end. This, and the rent increase unfortunately does not create for an appealing living experience. It is convenient to UT Southwestern, Dallas Love Field and within walking distance to two nice eateries, Social Pie and Maple Landing.
Comfortable, apartment is clean and big. but a little noisy, sound-proof is not enough. the corridor is not tidy and clean these days. I like the scenery in our community.
A nice place to live & the location is great. Can’t speak on all of the building but my apartment is super-quiet & that means a lot nowadays. The rent is a tad high & the grounds/garage could be a bit cleaner but overall not a bad place to call home.
Manager is great , residents ehh, food choices ehh , location to airport I will miss. Make sure that you get a top floor unit in the corner , so you will not hear a soul.
Well managed apartments and the surrounding community. Safe and easy approach to MD. Best amenities provided. Best place to leave and enjoy.
