I have lived at the Regent Apartments for 15 years. Pam has been great to work with though she left for a few years, she is back and that it great! I have always gotten quick responses to any issues I have had. The maintenance team is the best. Recent renovations have really made the place look nice. The halls and entries have new carpet, paint and the artwork went up today. It looks really nice. I like living at the Regent.
We got behind in our rent. Managers really seem to care. They got me info on housing help and assistance places and helped me get caught up. Respected me as a man and a tenant and I appreciate that.

Earlier this year, our heaters broke down in the dead of winter leaving us in ludicrously low temperatures. Maintenance fixed it within a couple of days, but then management sent us a demand for four HUNDRED dollars claiming we were somehow responsible for damages to systems in the walls and the floor. We got a recording of Maintenance admitting the buildings were just old and shoddy and sent a letter refusing the demand on those grounds. Management not only refused to address our concerns, they refused to so much as acknowledge we had sent them the letter or discuss it with us. In fact, they had the gall to start tacking late charges onto the bill. We sought legal advice and did not pay, so they refused to renew our lease. Management are clearly accustomed to shaking down tenants and not taking no for an answer. Further, they are rude and brusque in most interactions and totally inflexible on any policy at all (a roommate moving in could not get his keys for a week because they would only give an additional set of keys to him personally and he worked odd hours).

Obviously this response might be too little too late. We are so sorry this was your experience. We recently had a change in management and assure you this is no longer a mode of operation for our staff. Obviously, I don't know the whole story from this long ago, but I assure you our current management staff has good service skills and actually cares about our residents as if they were our neighbors! And in most cases, they ARE your neighbors now.
Been living here for 8 months I can't complain about too much. Perfect place for a small family. Indoor pool, sauna and gym. Decent shopping distant Wal-Mart's, cubs and more. Did I mention safety. Minus the noise from time to time. Can't complain about too much. The office staff is helpful and sweet pam and penny any packages are also delivered there. Just keep an open mind for other cultures and you will find satisfaction
My husband picked out the apartment without me. Older gross cabinets, loud wall A/C units. Maintances does come right away when there is a problem. Management is pretty nice. The buildings are suppose to be smoke free but I can smell smoke when walking down the hallways. Sometimes I can smell smoke in the bathroom and kitchen since all the vents are connected. Not enough cabinet space or counter space to cook
