North Hills is an up-and-coming district in Midtown Raleigh that is a popular destination for both visitors and residents. It houses a mix of residential homes and apartments, retail businesses, restaurants, and upscale hotels.
Its urban setting -- without being in the downtown district itself -- stands as one of the main attractions of the neighborhood. This appeals to those in the community that prefer a faster-paced setting with a more laid-back suburban style.
North Hills is an easy destination to reach, sitting off I-440 at exit 8 and conveniently close to the rest of the Triangle area. RDU airport is only 15 minutes away, and downtown Raleigh a mere five minute drive away. Residents can get to Durham and Chapel Hill in less than a half hour.
North Hills is surrounded by top schools such as North Carolina State University, Duke University, Meredith College, and University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Property Ratings at Park and Market
Honestly, this place is THE WORST. DO NOT MOVE HERE. I often never leave reviews, especially a negative one because it takes too much of my energy... but I cannot resist here. I could type a novel with all of the issues we have had in the 2 years of living here, but it goes beyond the issues. It is understandable to have challenges in any living space, however - the management couldn't care less about your struggle as a resident at Park and Market. They truly depend on their maintenance staff to cover EVERYTHING and I will say, the maintenance staff always shows up and always tries to fix the problem... but it seems like they aren't supported by the management here whatsoever. We have had several packages STOLEN from the mailroom in the last month, only to be told "sorry just call the company you ordered from and they'll probably replace it" after we asked if they had cameras, they responded "we do but we don't know anyone so it's impossible to track who is stealing" I also suggested to make a sign that stealing mail is against the law... but they don't care to manage anything. The next issue is our AC unit has been broken the entire summer - on and off. As the maintenance team comes to repair the issue over and over again, we have yet to hear from management about their apologies for our issue and we continue to pay thousands of dollars to live here. Again, I am not going to report all issues we have had here... just know that this is NOT the place to move. You will waste your hard earned money. We will be relocating as soon as possible due to the way we have not been taken care of.

Chandler, we’re grateful to you for letting us know about your negative experience. We apologize that your experience did not match your expectations and want to make things right. Please contact us by phone or e-mail to further discuss your experience.
2 young professionals with dual income. It’s a dump. The location is convenient but the rest is rough. We have had major problems with bugs, constant fire alarms (1-3x a month) AC not working, kitchen sink leaks, leaks from ceiling , windows broken, stolen packages from the mail room, stolen items from the front of our door, car has been broken into with items stolen. The staff turns over every month and is over whelmed. The parking garage is poorly managed so Thur-Sunday you may or may not get a parking spot near your floor. Pool area is strangely run. The outside area has turned really negative and loud post Covid. Doesn’t feel safe after 830 anymore. No security presence.. Other than the decent rent price, there is no sense of community or reason to live here

Hi Matthew! We appreciate you taking the time to provide feedback for our team and community. We are so sorry to hear that you have had less than a 5 star experience. Security and parking management is provided for the North Hills area by a third party vendor, and we would be happy to provide additional contact information should you need to reach out to them. Unfortunately, fire alarms must be in place for our residents and commercial neighbors safety and we apologize for any recent disturbances. We have also added Fetch to help residents with package delivery management and can provide you with sign up information, if you have not done so already. Our team would love the opportunity to resolve any current concerns that you may have. Please reach out to our leasing office at your earliest convenience so that we may discuss further. We look forward to hearing from you soon. Thank you - Your Park & Market Team…
It's been over four months since my lease ended and I have still yet to receive my security deposit even after hounding the property management team many times over. Only rent from this company if you are OK with giving your money to a shady business.

P&M is a great place to live. Maintenance staff are wonderful. Office staff communicate really well, always accommodating and friendly despite the pandemic trauma we are all going through. I appreciate their good work.
As someone who works from home, I was looking for a place that was excellent to both live and work. Park and Markets accommodating floor plans, quality features and amenities, unbeatable location, and community has exceeded my expectations.
Park & Market is A Great Place to live!!
Park & Market has been so great to us. Every time we have submitted a maintenance request it is handled the very next day which is AMAZING.
Ive lived here @ Park & Market for 6 yrs & simply put its the BEST PLACE to live if You rent in The Triangle!!
I've lived in Park and Market for two years and I absolutely love living here. The proximity to shops, grocery store and entertainment are convenient. The staff are so friendly and really care about every interaction with residents. The amenities and features are upscale and makes it a fun place to live.
the staff are amazing.
Extremely convenient place to live. Pretty much anything you need is within walking distance and it's just off of 440. The staff and maintenance are awesome and always quick to resolve any issues. Rikkia in the office is super nice and always eager to help. She's the bomb and deserves a promotion. She is the definition of customer service.

Everyday I feel like I am on vacation! Love this area.
Amazing staff. Very happy resident
The maintenance workers are very professional and do great work
Super convenient location with tons of restaurants and retail nearby. Clean and well kept in all areas inside and out. High quality fixtures and appliances. Go see Ashley (amazing) and the rest of the great staff in the leasing office! Super easy and fast process. Highly recommended!
Park and Market has been a great place to live. The staff has always been vey helpful and you cannot beat the location. Our apartment looked and smelled brand new when we moved in.
Park & Market quickly felt like home. I knew it was where I wanted to be early on in my search process. I have enjoyed interacting with the leasing staff as they are always kind, and prompt with problem solving. I look forward to the rest of the year here!
A great place in the middle of everything, shopping, entertainment, doctors and hospital
I love the management team so much. They always make sure we are taken care of and happy!
We moved here from expensive Connecticut 2 years ago and decided we found home, just having Harris Teeter on the ground floor is a great savings and almost 30 restaurants within walking distance. The front office is great Amanda, Rikkia, Angela, Hiba, and Ashley are always so friendly and willing to help with anything. Maintenance has always responded within hours and meet my needs, Greg, Sergio, Marcus, and Melvin are always polite and great craftsman. Brittany and Brian are great hosts for We Care and their many functions at the club room, model apartment, courtyards, and local restaurants has made it possible for us to make many friendships with interesting people.

I moved to Park & Market a year ago from a small town in SC after my daughter was born. I really didn’t expect to like living here near buzzing businesses and restaurants, but I reluctantly looked past my needs and focused more on the needs of my blossoming family. Well, I don’t think it took a week before I realized that I was falling in love with not only the city of Raleigh, but more specifically, the North Hills area. The things that I thought would be hard for me to accept as part of my daily life- the foot traffic, busy shops and restaurants, and the weekly concerts- have become some of my favorite things! The apartment itself is awesome! It’s comfortable, updated, reasonably priced (especially for the surrounding area), and the amenities are great! However, the best part of Park & Market, the part that makes me very comfortable renewing my lease, is the staff here. Starting with the first faces you see when you walk in the front office, the women of P&M are outstanding! (I think they could have their own reality show) Anytime I have a request or need for them, their response time is measured in minutes, not days, then the property management team gets to work promptly without needing to be reminded even once. In an illustration their kindness and sincerity, they even bought my daughter a Valentine’s card and a little stuffed animal. We truly lucked up when we moved here! If you’re considering moving to the area, this is a valid option for anyone looking for a home, no matter your background!

The apartments, clubhouse and courtyards are all beautiful. You can't beat the amenities offered and the things there are to do. North Hills is the place to live. The staff here are incredible and are quick to address any issue. Residents are all friendly and great to have as neighbors.
You can't beat living in North Hills, there is so much to do within walking distance. The apartments are awesome and the newly renovated apartments are especially great. Maintenance is quick to fix any issue, we have had zero issues while living here.
An amazing place to live! location is unbeatable. Community is nice and incredibly quite. Parking deck is a wonderful amenity. Community events make it easy to meet people.
The new management has made a ton of great changes. The old issues with the fire alarm are nonexistent anymore, they’ve made great improvements to the property and apartments and host events every month just for residents. Couldn’t recommend this place enough!
The staff takes forever to process packages, and refuses to give you YOUR package until they've put it in their system. Once Greystar took over, the halls have been GROSS! They hardly ever clean. And the apartments on the back side (by Level 7) can be super noisy with the noise from there. They play 2-3 times a week, and sometimes don't stop until 10. SO LOUD! Besides that, the location is great and convenient...the only reason they are getting 3 stars.
you need a special fob to enter into the building....safety is always first on everyones mind and Park and Market makes sure you are safe at all times...there is a mix of all ages and everyone is friendly and helpful...any problems you could have are taken care of right away and all your questions are answered....the even change your bulbs in ceiling and wall fixtures....just let them know what you need and they are there almost immediately ! if you need to go somewhere in the north hills area and don't want to take your car, just call the trolly and they will pick you up and bring you back at whatever time you tell them to pick you up....and walking is encouraged all over north hills with access to many shops and restaurants....plus you are living upstairs from a fabulous Harris Teeter where they bend over backward to keep you happy..... The pool area is beautiful and comfortable....people are out there just about every day.....and the club room is great with big screens, computers, pool tables and table tennis.....plus the clubroom has a full kitchen for parties and gatherings! come by and take a look.....you will understand why I am so happy here.....and when you want peace and quiet, just go into your apartment and relax.....I will be looking for you to come by and see what a great life is waiting for you.
Living in the Park and Market community is generally a great experience. It's in an ideal urban location with lots of local events within walking distance. The absolute best part about living here though is living above a Harris Teeter that is open 24/7. It's incredibly convenient and will definitely change the way you grocery shop. As far as the apartments go, they are well built and there is a large selection of floor plans to meet different needs. The only real con, is that the staff can be a bit rude in there notes and interactions.
Excellent location within easy walking distance of great restaurants and retail. Right at the center of North Hills you can enjoy the summer and fall concert series right in your backyard. With spacious floor plans and great amenities, there's not a lot not to like about this complex.
