Property Ratings at Park Apartments
Roaches coming in they the outlets they paint the counter tops with wall paint so in a month after cleaning (which I have to de every single day) it peels and looks awful! People hanging out in the pool at night, smoking weed at night in the laundry rooms, which is closed most Sundays when us working people have to wash!! The office sends you an email to inform you they will repair your broken ac they never show up, never call you nothing! They you got to the office just to be told someone is coming. Spent over a week with NO ac and they know I live with an elderly person.. RUN!!! Don't be fooled by the first look at the apt, which they didn't even show me, just a floor plan and pics, by then I had no choice but to make the best of it. Deserve ZERO stars.
Do yourself a favor and don’t live here… Right from the start, the staff here was unhelpful and unprofessional. Their fitness center was closed more often than it wasn’t. They gave me a mail key that didn’t work that I had to pay for when moving in. Had issues with bugs and flooding from neighboring apartments. The water would cut out several times a month, the dishwasher actually was so old and moldy that it made dishes dirtier if we tried to use it. They have ample space to put a washer/dryer in each apartment but they want you to rent it out for more than it would cost to buy a new set. The only other option is using their smelly, crowded laundromat where you are lucky to get a working dryer and closed at random times each night. That same security guard that closes the laundromat can usually be found sleeping at the front gate which is for the best because you are lucky to get a parking pass within a couple months of moving in. After finally getting out of this nightmare of an apartment, which was actually in better shape than when I got there(had photo evidence and their original damages paperwork), received $0 of our deposit back. Please just save yourself some time, money, and mental safety and don’t live here if you have any other options.
Thick mold in the walls, floor falling apart, water shuts off almost weekly due to shotty plumbing. Assistant manager Melissa is rude and disrespectful. Office highly disorganized, no one on the same page. Amenities constantly closed. Broken glass and nails to pierce your tires. Lots of litter and dog poop. I was actually walked in on naked in my bathroom by maintenance they hired (didn’t even have any notice of them coming nor ask for them to). Only good thing I can say the head maintenance guy is pretty cool.
Does not disclose that you need a certain amount of income for whatever bedroom apartment you are looking for. Fees to apply are absurd. Takes their sweet time contacting you back. Staff rude. Do yourself a favor and look for something else.
My wife and I lived here for three years and this is not a place that I recommend to anyone. The maintenance is a disaster, and the management is even worse. The maintenance would come to your apartment without permission. Once we were sleeping and suddenly found two strangers (from the maintenance team) walking into our living room which was a very bad experience and the manager did not do anything about it. They will also charge a lot on the security deposit even for normal wear and tear at the end without letting you have any objections. Overall, although the location is good and the price is affordable, I would suggest you consider somewhere else. It doesn’t worth the trouble.
When I moved in the masked the smell of cat urine the wore out in a out a week of living there. The carpet was totally covered in fleas. I didn't know right away what was biting me. When I told the office about it they stated I must have brought bugs with me. Their "pest service" was only allowed to put down sticky traps. Nothing more. Right away when I moved in I started seeing those little German cockroaches all over the kitchen. It didn't take me long to realise I couldn't keep food in the apartment. I had one jump right into food I was cooking. Water would shut of at least twice a month with no warning and when it would turn back on it would look like milk. When ever I put a ticket in for something that needed addressing the maintenance men would be super intrusive. They would come a week or 2 after the ticket was submitted and will WALK RIGHT IN. TWO different times they walked in on me in the shower. TWO! I have to believe that's not an accident. In short: stay far away.
This is NOT a fake review. Initially I met with Linda to look at the units for rent. She was very nice and helpful while I was with her. I came back the next day to learn that Linda is off for a few days so Raquel has been working with me since. I had to provide some extra documentation and proof of income due to my being handicapped, service dog and having 3 surgeries in the past 2 years. I still don't know if I'll be approved as I await Kim (Property Manager) reviewing everything, but I did want to note how extremely helpful, friendly and patient Raquel has been while working with me since this past Saturday. I'm hopeful we'll get in and will be able to do a complete review once/if we are in and there for a couple of months.
I've rented from them in 2012-2013. They continued my lease without my knowledge and moved in new residents. Then when those residents got evicted it went on my credit. Worse, they didn't even tell me any of this and it went to collections and now I owe thousands of dollars. Your credit is at major risk if you rent here!
I was couch surfing at friends’ houses for weeks until I stubmled upon a listing for this complex. The staff was very helpful through the entire leasing process and even stayed after hours to help me and my roommates move in. They went above and beyond to make sure we had great appliances and a welcoming home as well. I also love how close it is to Target, Publix, and now Lucky’s Market! The place is very affordable and I feel very comfortable living here!
I had a lot of trouble finding a place and then I stumbled here. The staff was great. They are very attentive and reassuring. When I moved in they helped me with anything and everything that I needed. I went to Full Sail for 2 years and it was at a walking distance. Also there are many different food places to eat in the area including a Target right across the street. It was very comfortable place to live. Never had any issues.
I am full sail student and have lived here for almost 2 years with my roommate. I am in school most of the time or working but when I am home its quite for the most part. Full Sail is close which is good for me since I ride my bike there. The apartment is a good size and we both get our own bathrooms and closets which is neat. The office staff is always nice. I plan to stay until I graduate.
Repairs made are only temporary or cosmetic. That is if you can actually get someone to come. Depending on the weather the area smells because pet owners are held to the "clean up after your pet" rule. Don't walk through the grass! Lots of kids in the area, good for families. Just check their shoes if they play outside!
General: I moved in here in 2013 and am still a resident because I am a student and it's a pretty cheap place for rent. When I first moved in, they had put down new flooring in the entire apartment. Hardwood in the living room area and carpets in the bedroom. When they ripped up the carpet they swept the dirt and dust up and dumped it in the bathtub. Then they glued the carpet down and it was seeping through the rug so everything stuck to it. Also, it took them 6 months to fix all the issues that my unit had when I first got there (ex. missing shower rod on the master bath, living room light was out, deck blinds were broken, sink drips.)When I spoke to a woman six months, four months and two months prior to having them fix it, she never put in a work order - they checked. Turns out she's in charge of the finances and when I spoke to the manager, I mentioned that I spoke with her, and come to find out, the next rent check that was submitted was conveniently "never received." I can't say for sure that it was on purpose, but it did seem a little shady at the time. Recent Problems: The A/C unit in my apartment is currently broken, this is like the 10th time since I moved in, and I am currently waiting on a work order that was placed 6 days ago. When I moved in, I was given one set of keys, and apparently that was the ONLY set to my apartment. Now, they are threatening to not fix my A/C until I give them a set of keys, which is fine, but I'm not paying for these keys, when it shouldn't be my expense to pay. I never changed the locks, but turns out they have a key machine in the office (information that was withheld the first time I spoke with them.) I went down and they made the copies, but the deadbolt key didn't work because it wasn't the correct key type. I was told that I needed to "make the key or be charged for a new lock." So I asked if I would be reimbursed because I shouldn't have to pay to make the office their key. I was TOLD (because they know what I do at all times) that I had replaced the lock and need to provide them with a key, that's why they don't have the specific key type. I never replaced the lock, it's been that lock since the day I moved in, so if it was replaced, it wasn't by me. They gave me a hard time, but paid. Leasing Staff: The secretaries at the office are very nice, and I usually don't have a problem with them, the apartment manager, however, always has a problem with me. This place isn't worth the hassle. Don't rent here.
This is a good place to start when you are moving from another state or country. Located near Orlando UCF area. The apartment was delivered in excellent condition. The pool and surrounding Maintenance was excellent. Nice place for family living.
I live in a one bedroom . The apartment is enough for just one person to live . That's it . It includes washer/dryer , garbage disposal, and only water is included . For the price it should be a little more up to date . Appliance wise . The space is very small and the closet is made for one person. But the neighborhood is quiet . It includes a gym and a pool . The bathroom is pretty spacey but it runs right in to the washer/dryer . If you're the only one who's living in this apartment , one bedroom wise , it's pretty decent .
i would say my apartment is very fair not what i expecting very mediocre the hardwoods are fake the counter tops are stained the bathrooms is small the living room is plain the overall type or feel of the apartment is sad for the money i pay it could be a lot better its paint spots on the wall the walls are white with different shades of white spots of it every where im in college so i dont have much of a choice where i stay now but i would at less like more attractions
This is prime location for anyone new to the area and/or a new college student. This area is located right across the street from a Target, Publix, Winn Dixie, and Family Dollar. The complex is gated and has a laundry facility, three pool areas, and small gym next to the leasing office. If you are new to the area or need a new place to stay this place is prime location.
