Property Ratings at Park at Crossroads
I’ve lived here for 2.5 years and it was a pretty mixed bag. Overall, living there served its purpose and I met some great people there. I would say look at all options if you can before deciding on being here. There are newer apartments that have come up in that past few years that have comparable pricing at Park at Crossroads. The Good: Great Location…I’m able to get to most places in 15-20 mins The Maintenance Team was great. Whenever I need something they will usually handle it the same day. Parking was great. Plenty of spots for everyone including guests if needed. Great people to live around. Most are pretty friendly. The bad: The price of rent has gone up quite a bit without real justification to the point where it made sense to move to another apartment complex or buy a house. The amount of noise from neighbors. I understand you are living in an apartment around people but it was more than usual. The apartments (compared to newer complexes you would see all over town) are just flat out old. Kitchen, bathroom, windows, etc have seen better days. Ancient A/C unit. The unit I rented was pretty beat up when I moved in (maintenance was great getting issues repaired as fast as possible). Dirty breezeways. The office rarely keeps the stairways and breezeways clean. You will find dirt, cobwebs, and pollen for months without anyone cleaning. The office staff is very unorganized. There have been times when rent payments had to be located due to clerical errors, misplaces keys at move out, etc. It took filing a BBB complaint and threatening a lawsuit to get my deposit returned (it still took more than 4 months to recover it) . Trash piles up in the trash compactor to the point of it spilling out into the street. Summer months bring out a huge number of roaches and rodents. Maintenance workers try their best to clean up each morning during the week but they need larger (or multiple) trash compactors to keep up with the amount of people living there. I would definitely take a look around before considering Park at Crossroads.
My mom has lived here over a year now. The location is simply perfect. Her apartment has been renovated recently and is super clean and comfortable inside. The facilities (pool, gym, trails, etc..) add to the overall positive quality of life. She has had some minor mechanical issues, which is normal. The staff, led by John, have been extremely attentive to her issues. Always quickly dispatching maintenance to trouble shoot and solve the problems! I’d say everything has been resolved on the same day. Again, all the staff are friendly and helpful making this a really nice place to live. Kudos to John for keeping an excellent crew on board!

Beautiful and well kept apartments. If you need maintenance, they are there quickly and resolve any issues. There is an outdoor pool with a fireplace, but the fireplace has not been working. Indoor heated pool and dog parks. There are walking trails surrounding complex and stores in walking distance. Close by to major highways.

My roommate and I live in Park at Crossroad with two small children. We initially chose this location because of the spacious floor plan which included a sunroom that we are able to use as a playroom! We have been very pleased with the staff, cleanliness, how peaceful the neighborhood is and especially by the location. The staff have always been courteous and gone out of their way to address any problem or concerns we have. We have never had an issue with outside disturbances or late night noise. The location is great, accessing highways is very easy and having a grocery store and many other shopping destinations nearby is a huge convenience for two busy single moms!

If your a young partying and irresponsible hourly wager, you'll fit right in. But if your a professional that actually works for living where you value sleep and quite time between 10pm and 8 am this it NOT the place for you. Young neighbors often have parties on the first floor patios until the wee hours of the morning. Other neighbors blare their music and TV unit midnight. While others who live here apparently on disability don't work and are up all hours of the night stomping around their apartment and dropping weights on the floor at 2am. I'm not lying here...it's a nightmare. The other things I don't like are the fact that even though you pay the electricity for the storage units located outside your apartment, if you rent now you don't get one. Previous residents had them included but now they charge you $15/mo for them. Kind of cheapens the experience here if you ask me. So if your a professional working in the Triangle, look elsewhere.
Great place to live. Right next to crossroads, very clean, neighbors tend to keep to themselves. Has indoor and outdoor pool as well as a gym.
This complex offers the best of everything! We are within walking distance of restaurants and shopping. A movie theater as well. If you just want to walk and enjoy nature, that too is available. Our community borders a green way which passes by a man made lake. The lake is visible to a number of the buildings in the community. Not only does our apartment complex have a beautiful outdoor pool, it also features an indoor pool. A number of the units are available with attached garages with spacious storage. We've lived here going on our fourth year, I highly recommend the Park at Crossroads, in Cary, NC. It is much like a home, without the headaches of home ownership.
