Property Ratings at Park at Fitzsimons
They will let themselves into your home without notice (or it being an emergency). They had water for the whole building shut off for almost a week, and still charged us the same amount for water that we did not have access to. The trash (in the cans and around the property) is uncontrolled by the management. There is also actually no access for laundry or fitness like they state in the ad. So be prepared to get a gym membership and go to the laundromat. Don’t waste your money. Don’t believe the corporate, lying replies and ads. It’s worth the extra $50 a month to live somewhere else, trust me.
If you move in here, remember. The trash cans are respected more by the corporates overlords than the residents. They actually have video cameras on the trash. Aurora is a horrible city, and no matter what the local management does, if their corporate overlords say no, nothing changes. Security doors aren't secure. They did finally fix the pool after 6 years... but having 2 cars stolen and 2 more break in on my cars tells me that they have no respect for residents... other than taking your money.
This place does not have a pool and the “fitness” center is never open. It Is roach infested. The walking paths on the second and third floors are falling apart there is exposed rusted iron everywhere. Absolutely unsafe for children. I was moved into an apartment that was never worked on. The carpets had glass embedded into them. The shower does not work and its been 4 days. The apartment was entirely not maintained before allowing us to move in. Do not MOVE HERE it is not worth the money. This property is falling apart and they need new office management.
Pros: everything is close. the highway , restaurants , and stores are a quick commute Cons: No Pool (closed for over a year now) No hot tub (open every once and a while) Very Small “Gym” area & HORRIBLE Laundry room service. 2/3 chances are the washer and dryers are unresponsive or Broken on top of having to Pay 1.75 to 2.50 for 1 wash or dry .. Overall not the worst place but for what you pay you could find better for about the same price
This a great place to live. Located just minutes away from UCHealth medical campus. Within half mile of shopping. Public transportation stops mear property. Unit features 2 large windows, large living and bedroom. Lots if closet space throught and the mist beautiful part is the skylight in the kitchen, especially when the sun shines, no need for kitchen light.
So from week one. You get bed bugs and some roaches, every week your spraying to get rid 9f them. They come back every now and then, and I'm super clean person. Next the pool, hotter and workout room I'd always locked and your not allowed in. Also the heaters don't work. You must purchase your own heaters. Also during the pandemic, we are going niw two weeks with out hit water. Luke warm is all you get to shower with at theses apartments. Also the other tenants can be mean, they fight alot here and police constant come and have to break up fights and yelling and broken windows. Please don't make the mistake and get on a lease here like I did.

I moved in here because of a job opportunity I took about 3 years ago. This was the only place that was close to my job that was pet friendly. I stayed here for 2 years and it was the worst time of my life. Honestly the people that manage this location are almost always clueless and look like they are doing drugs. The maintenance people take for ever to do a simple task, I mean most of the things I could have done myself but I was not going to waste my money for this dump. Yes, this place is a complete dump. My wife and I put down a deposit for both of us which was around 600 dollars and we had to pay a pet deposit of 300. After we moved out we cleaned this place top to bottom to make sure we get our deposit back and you guess it! This run down dump took our deposit and charged us an extra 75 dollars for "carpet replacement". DO NOT waste your time or money here.
pipes constantly knocking in the walls, kids constantly running back and forth on the balcony, neighbors constantly slamming doors, you can also hear what they're doing through the walls. had some roaches here and there. spiders find their way in the light fixtures. if you like peace and quiet, this is not the place. it's a shame because it's an area that is close to a lot of stores, i-70 and i-225
Certain buildings this complex have major roach problems. Pest control is used by mgmt but does little to fix it. My lease is up soon and I won't be paying 1000.00 a month to fight with roaches and ants anymore.
Lorie (Manager) was no help at all! I had an issue with my vehicle and haven't been able to fix it for 5 months. I get a ticket for having a flat tire ($75 fine). I go to the office to speak with the manager which was (Lorie). Long story short I was respectful the whole time just seeking help or advise at the very least. No, what do I get a very tense and disrespectful attitude towards me. When I mentioned my car being broke down she states " Your lucky they haven't towed it, its on the lease that you cant have a vehicle in the lot." The people around here are not very nice at all including the manager Lorie. I dont recommend moving into these apartments!
This apartment complex is nice. The office staff is very sweet and nice every time I go into the office even if they are swamped. Some of my neighbors are very loud and like to blast there music and the kids run the walkways and are very loud when they are playing outside. Maintenance works really hard to keep this place looking nice and the dog waste picked up from them residents that could car a less about picking up there dog's waste. It is convent to be so close to the store and food places. I hope whoever comes across this review it helps them out. Come take a look for your selves.
the location is great, 70 north west and 225 south and north from both sides just in seconds, hospital very close, 2 big Mexican stores if you want to find variety movie theatre close also so as well king sooper and save a lot, dollar store, building is in remodel mode now but slowly but surely, no bouncing floor, no noise rent is high but for the space is ok at least for a year lease till you find something better. if you need to sleep quiet and get to somewhere fast and decent looking inside, this is it. $$$$$
