Property Ratings at MAA Park
WORST PLACE TO LIVE EVER! If you have pets DO NOT MOVE THERE! When you move out they will do a walk through with you and THEN they pull up the carpet!!! They literally went to the corner of the dining room at the end of the walk through, like he knew exactly where to go, and pulled up the carpet! There were stains under the carpet and on the pad! There was NO WAY my dogs peed where those pee spots were! My dining room table is a big base with a glass top! There is no way my dogs could have peed there! They are charging me over $1000 to replace the carpet and the pad!!!! For a tiny 2 bedroom apartment! Oh and guess what? The $500 pet "fee" DOESN'T COVER ANYTHING! I have two dogs and paid this fee PLUS pet rent every month of $15 per pet! The only thing that does go towards the cost of the carpet is the $150 deposit! Thankfully I purchased a home so I WILL NEVER have to deal with anything like this ever again! Oh and my apartment smelt clean because I deep cleaned the entire apartment! I feel cheated and I feel like they planted those stains there. I hope everyone looking for an apartment looks at these reviews. I sure wish I did before I moved there. Not to mention that you can hear shootings from who knows where at night! There are sketchy people that walk around asking you for a ride! It’s not safe! They are overpriced and the apartments are OLD and smell old! The cabinets, bathtubs, toilets etc ALL OLD! The appliances suck! I could never use my dish washer because the screws kept falling out that held it in place!

Know that we plan to use your feedback to improve our training going forward. Feel free to call 866-620-1130 to discuss this further.
Dog poop everywhere very little poop stations and usually out of bags. Car got broken into. People have been robbed at gun point. There’s a massive sink hole by building 22-23. You have to call or email monthly to get pest control out side your apartment even though you pay monthly for it. Apartments smell like mold. Poorly managed!

We appreciate your excellent review about The Park at Hermitage. So glad you're pleased with your living experience!
My daughter and her roommate lived here from Dec '15 to Feb '17. Staff comes off as very friendly at first until you sign the dotted line. Spiders, bugs, fireplace that leaks every time it rains, AC quit working several times during the summer, balcony had to be blocked off because of rotten wood, management didn't care about loss of use or any issues. Do not even think about living here if you have a pet. If you have a pet you will be charged to replace the carpet as well as some kind of odor seal regardless the condition of the carpet and age of the carpet when you move in. They will charge you outrageous fees at move out if you have a pet. Treated shabbily. Was not a good experience. The location was the best thing.

We offer our sincerest apologies on the below-standard experience you have had at Park at Hermitage. Providing the highest level of service to our tenants is of the utmost importance to us. We greatly appreciate your feedback and are actively working to improve in these areas.
I have lived at the Park for several years. First off, they WILL squeeze every penny possible out of you. Cable is "part of your rent" and you have no choice but to pay $45 for xfinity cable. If you use their laundry facilities, you have to pay for a card (that you'll probably lose) and get it refilled in the office when it runs out of money. So if you're doing laundry late at night and don't have any money on your card, you have to wait until the office opens the next day. The machines are worn out and leave a strange burnt smell on your clothes. They constantly brag about having one dumpster and I don't know why. It's a disaster. The dumpster is right at the front of the property and is constantly overflowing or missing. I've grown accustomed to seeing a heaping trash pile spilling out of the dumpster. It's always a huge mess. My car was broken into on the property one night and I had a few things stolen. I have also seen other cars w windows smashed from time to time. The parking lot is not very well lit to say the least. I moved to Hermitage bc Nashville was out of my range price wise. The Park went for affordable to laughable. The rent is basically the same as a mortgage on a house.. Except you don't have anything to show for it at the end of the day. The landscaping is nice. Beware if you work nights because the landscapers are out there EVERY morning in the spring and summer running the lawnmower, leaf blower, ...basically anything that makes noise. Oh, and in the winter, they don't prepare for ice or snow. You're on your own. Try to make it down those icy cement/metal steps or walk on the slippery sidewalk. My elderly neighbor fell all the way down his stairs because it was so icy. They could at least toss some salt around for paying attendants. I gave them two stars because they gave me shelter. Oh and they have nice landscaping.
Lovely landscaping and very friendly people. The office staff is very nice and living here has been a great experience. It's very peaceful and right by the interstate. There is a bar and Mcdonalds/dailys store within walking distance and also a beautiful lake and Nashville Shores water park.
We believe the maintenance men and other have had entry to our apartment and have drank our drinks, ate our food, used our shower and towel. Someone broke into our apartment about a week ago climbing the back porch broke into the back door, our bedroom, that has a deadbolt on it. We have come to the point we just purchased surveillance equipment and am setting up to record 24/7 because we fear another break in (keyed entry or not) we have literally two friends and nobody has a key to our apartment.
What more can one say about a team that takes pride in their respective roles as well as commitment to providing astounding customer service. The staff at The Park (especially Gigi) promotes a welcoming atmosphere upon entering the leasing office and certainly makes one feel at home. I am glad I chose The Park to be my residence for the next year!!
The Park is a great apartment to live in and the price is right. On the other hand, I feel like the office doesn't answer all of my questions or makes me feel like my question/comment is not valid. But for the two months I've lived here I have enjoyed my experience. It's a really quiet complex and is low key. The pool and laundry facilities are really nice as well.
