Oklahoma City is a thriving city right at the heart of Oklahoma. The city’s thriving economy is complemented by its exciting nightlife and entertainment options. Downtown is home to the Myriad Botanical Gardens and the Oklahoma City Zoo, two extremely popular family-friendly attractions. The Myriad Gardens also include the Oklahoma Shakespeare in the Park production at the Water Stage.
The Oklahoma City Thunder has built a dedicated fan base, and things always get pretty wild around the Chesapeake Arena on game days. The arts community is quite active with galleries, museums, theater productions, and a music scene incorporating everything from underground alternative bands to the Oklahoma City Philharmonic.
The city has been expanding in recent years, and Oklahoma City proper is much easier to get around with public transportation than most other cities in the region, including rail service.

Property Ratings at Park at Memorial
I have been living in this apartment complex for 2.5 years now, and I must say, I absolutely love it here. The location is fantastic, with super easy access to the turnpike and stores. The high ceilings and well-designed layouts of the apartments create a spacious and comfortable living environment. One of my favorite things about this complex is the beautiful green areas, which are perfect for taking walks and enjoying nature. Of course that there are moments when you would like the management team to be more responsive. For example, there have been times when the sidewalks were not properly salted, making it dangerous to walk outside. Additionally, there are moments when noise from running a kid upstairs can be a bit disruptive, but this is to be expected in an apartment complex. Overall, I would highly recommend this apartment complex to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, and beautiful place to call home.
This property is staffed by the most UNPROFESSIONAL front office management. I have had a HORRIBLE experience with the staff at Park at Memorial. Attitudes always. I’ve been hung up on multiple times. Last Thursday my bathroom was in 3 inches of water from the toilet flooding and I was told it was NOT considered an emergency and they would be there in a little bit and then got hung up on. Having a career in property management myself, and knowing how to run a property and use customer service properly, if you are wanting nice and friendly- DO NOT RENT HERE. They trick you with words in the beginning and then tell you to sign paper work contradicting their words. This is the absolute worst experience I’ve had at a property and I work in this industry!!! I could never imagine treating a resident the way myself and my roommate have been treated in the year we have been here. Also, corporate was zero help to me even though I’ve called multiple times and only got a returned call once.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness I have moved in two months ago. the neighbors who live upstairs constantly make loud noises. it seems that someone keeps on dropping heavy objects on the floor repeatedly. the whole day this procedure goes on. There is a constant running of a kid/child and loud thumping noises. There is not a single minute where i can relax. The wife stays at home with the kid whole day, (i think so), even then she does not control the kid. It seems to me that a playground is directly above my head. I get constant headaches due to the upstairs neighbor's behavior. I have never lived at such a place where noise is not controlled and neighbors are not considerate of other neighbors. I talked to management. someone by the name of amy told me that it is in between me and the noisy neighbor. She did not do anting about it. The problem is that the noise is 24/7 as if someone is throwing balls and other objects directly above my head. Does not even seem like I am living in a civilized society. very, very, very uncivilized and rude neighbor upstairs and the management has done nothing to control the noise. hopeless people. Other places i lived before were always respectful and considerate of their neighbors. A constant loud noise was not a problem at all.

We are sorry you feel the way you do. When we take complaints from residents we are always quick to respond to them and we try to resolve them ASAP. We also have a courtesy patrol for after hour complaints such as this. Feel free to call our office to discuss.
I moved here from Florida and feel lucky to have found this place. It’s close to everything-fitness centers, restaurants, malls, schools and grocery’ stores. Office staff is friendly, and always helpful. Friday evenings gathering has been a great way to meet the neighbors. I’ve had a very few minor repairs since the apartments are so well maintained....but dripping faucet and dryer were fixed same day I reported them. Washer/dryer came w my unit which helped since I sold mine w my condo. Although we’re across from Martin Nature Trail there is also a quarter mile nature walking trail behind the units. Carport being included w all units was a huge plus! There’s also a dog play area. I looked everywhere and this is really the best apartments and personnel around in NW OKC for the money.
This place is horrible. DO NOT RENT HERE. 1. Maintenance is horrible. Many issues, biggest one being the air conditioner which was broken both summers we lived here. We called maintenance at least 6 times regarding the issue. They came out and “fixed” it, but the problem was never actually fixed. Our apartment was well over 80 degrees most of the summer. Maintenance then had the audacity to tell us that we were an annoyance for “ only calling on weekends about the problem.” (This is generally when it would stop working). The insulation was terrible in the apartment. We had air set to 72-74 (when working) and heat set at 68-70 degrees, our bills were always between 300-400$ per month because hot and cold air would come in through cracks in doors/windows. Pool was extremely loud even after posted “quiet hour” times. We had to call noise complaints 3 separate times between 2:00 and 3:00am on a weeknight- and no one ever came out to address the issue. Multiple times we didn’t have water because of “issues in the complex.” The “security” gate is almost always broken which means that it is either stuck open 24 hours a days, or it will not open at all which means a trip around the block or waiting until someone leaves so It will open from the inside. Rent was raised $400 per month because we did not sign another year lease when our lease was up. They attempted to charge us for “pet damage” to the carpet when the carpet was of when we moved in. Furthermore, we have 1 cat who has never had an issue with accidents anywhere we have lived. Also, staff refuse to do a walkthrough with you when you leave so they can say whatever they want about the condition of the apartment regardless of the shape it’s actually in. This place is a nightmare. I’m not sure what all of these good reviews are all about. I advise to check other sites- it seems like they may have family/friends giving good reviews, considering that many other sites have this place listed as a 2 star (which frankly, is still generous). I could go on and on with issues. Do yourself a favor and DO NIT RENT HERE. Save yourself a headache as well as money. It’s a rip off with terrible customer service and staff to say the least.

Dear Anonymous, Let me start by saying that we are very sorry you feel that your experience at our community was unsatisfactory. Our maintenance staff comes out on weekends for a/c emergencies with no issue. Our response time of 24 hours is incomparable to that of other complexes. The average electric bill for a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom unit is $150 a month. We called OG&E ourselves to confirm the average monthly bill. Unfortunately, we have no control over Oklahoma City's main water lines breaking. We understand having no water for a few hours can be an inconvenience, but that instance was out of our control. Our maintenance staff is very thorough and never enters any apartment without proper notice. Reasons for "routine checks" would occur for a/c filter changes, pest control sprays, and fire sprinkler inspections (which you are notified of ahead of time). If you call in a work order a copy is left in your apartment to let you know maintenance has come and fixed whatever issues you were having. If you live near the pool we require that residents sign a pool addendum stating that there can be a limited amount of pool noise. Our courtesy office patrols the pool at night and addresses any noise complaints during our quiet hours. We are a very fair complex when it comes to your lease renewals and we make it very clear that our Month to Month rate is more expensive than your original rental amount, if you choose not to renew your lease agreement. What you agree to on your renewal contract is strictly your choice. We give four different lease renewal options. We do not over charge for pet damage as we take pictures of pet damage as proof of how the apartment was left upon moveout. If there is pet damage to our carpet it is replaced due to sanitation purposes. The manager is very understanding and depreciates the age of the carpet so that our residents are not charged unfairly. Thank you for your compliment on our grounds and staff, we pride ourselves on good service.
I lived there for 3 years with over $1200 in deposits. They are only refunding me $700. Highway robbery and would not recommend living there.

Hi there, Sorry you feel that way about your time here at our property. We do have nonrefundable portions of our security deposits and pet deposit. We are very upfront about what portion is refundable and what portion is not. If you need us to go back over it with you we would be happy to do so. Feel free to give us a call at 405-752-7500. -The Park Staff
I have lived here for 2 months and several issues have arisen during my short stay. Every single time I have an issue, my Maintenance Woman, Carrie, shows up super quick and fixes my problem in 10 minuets or less! I’ve NEVER lived in a place where my requests are answered this fast! I have loved every bit of my stay! It’s the safe community my son and I have ever lived in!

Thank you so much for your kind words about our maintenance staff! We are so glad that you are enjoying your new apartment with your family. :) Kerrie is the BEST!
I have lived at this property for several years and absolutely love it here!! I would recommend it to anyone! I have never had any issues regarding mold or maintenance requests. My request are typically done within 24 hours. The women in the office are fantastic and very understanding. I find the location of my apartment convenient and I can get anywhere in about 15 minutes. The property is very well kept and I enjoy going to their resident happy hour on Fridays. LOVE LOVE LOVE this place and will continue to live here for quite some time! :)

Thank you so much for the awesome review! We love that you love living here! Kindest regards, The Park Team
I went in to look at their available apartments. The agent/manager answered all my questions and promptly showed me around, but she definitely could've been more engaging and friendly. Not a fan of her attitude. Let's just put it this way - She didn't come off as a person I would want to do business with.
It is a very quiet complex and all the neighbors seem pleasant. Management seems distant and more than willing to talk poorly about other apartments then how they plan to fix their own. And I do not like how they get kickbacks for services they require you to have like renters insurance. Maintenance entered my apartment without permission and told me my apartment's AC was working even though I have to set about 7 degrees cooler to get it where I want it. And they seem to not be able to fix anything properly. The neighborhood is awkward with the one way streets. There is also no real grocery store nearby only a Walmart or Target. The apartment is much smaller than they make it seem and all the appliances are way out of date. And the layout is awkward with barely enough room to get a couch through the front door in my 1 bedroom.
I am new to Oklahoma city and so far my stay has been pleasant. Nothing has been wrong with the apartment and the facilities are nice. The location is the only thing that I am not too fond of
The managers are made up of 3 clueless women. They are condescending, rude, and never follow through. As for the apartments...9 out of 15 buildings flooded in 2013 from frozen and busted water pipes. (Mind you, the water pipes are located outside on your balcony...?!?! WHY?) The walls are filled with mold and water damage, as is your bathroom tub/shower! Also the refrigerator was molded and they refused to replace it. The toilet leaked from the base when flushed. Maintenance had to come re-caulk it 3 times! My patio door leaked every time it rained. When I moved in, I had no baseboards, no bathroom caulk, and no kitchen cabinets --and they let me move in and told me they would not discount it because it was "livable". The same thing when my living room and kitchen flooded from burst pipes - they would not pay for me to stay at a hotel - because my bedroom didn't flood, so it was considered "livable". These women are cheats, and have no idea of customer service or how to run an apartment complex. They bring their children to work, and let them run wild inside the offices and then act as if it's an inconvenience to service their residents when they walk in. UNREAL! I highly deter anyone from moving into these mold filled, cheap, falling apart apartments.
Terrible uncooperative management. Gayle is the worst, very rude and unprofessional in dealing with residents. Will leave as soon as I can get out of my lease.
When I arrived to set up an appointment for a viewing, I heard one of the managers arguing with a resident. I didn't think much about it. I thought I just happened to come at a bad time. I set up an appointment and came to my viewing. I viewed the apartment with both managers as there was another potential resident scheduled for a viewing at the same time. The argumentative manager gave me dirty looks throughout the viewing. The floor plans are very small (I'm not sure how the square footage is determined). When I asked questions about the property the manager who I was working with became impatient as if she didn't have time for my questions. After that I did research online and found that many people shared my feelings about the property managers. I decided against it because I would never want to live in a place where residents are treated so poorly.
The ownership is not friendly and will withhold deposit. They operate as if everyone is a deadbeat. Air conditioning system worked poorly in my unit. Maintenance was terrible--incompetent and same lousy attitude.
I have only lived in the apartment complex for about three weeks now but I have not had any problems. I live in a gated community so I always feel very safe. As far as I know they do a criminal check on every individual living in the complex, so that also makes me feel safe. I am young and most of the people I see in the area are around my age (college). The staff can be hard to get a hold of through the phone, however when you come in to the office they are usually available and they are always friendly! Overall I have enjoyed my experience here.
