Northwest Greensboro sits just 10 miles outside the downtown area, but it provides a vastly different view of the city than the streets and suburbs around the city center. With access to Lake Higgins and Lake Brandt, Northwest Greensboro is a scenic setting that’s perfect for anyone who wants to be near urban conveniences, but enjoys the thrill of outdoor adventures and afternoons on the water.
The area of Northwest Greensboro is made up of a number of fantastic, unique neighborhoods and engaging apartment communities. The area’s vibrant outdoor atmosphere is broken up in spots by conveniently located shopping centers, big-box stores, and a few restaurants along the main thoroughfares. Bur-Mil Park provides 250 acres of pristine land set between the lakes to the north, and there are plenty of bike trails along the shores as well. Commuting to the city takes just a few minutes thanks to the interstates that serve the area.

Property Ratings at Park at Midtown
I enjoyed my time at Park at Midtown. I always felt safe, front office staff was kind, and there were no major problems. When I moved in, there were minor maintenance issues that didn’t get fixed the entire time I was there. Being on the first floor also had me hear a lot of noise from my upstairs neighbor. There were never any issues with appliances, plumbing, or electrical, so I consider that very good. The location of the property was also nice, as it is not far from the interstate and airport. I would recommend living here.
Property Manager at Park at Midtown, Responded To This Review
We're so glad you have had a positive experience at The Park at Midtown Apartments, whether it be with our office team, maintenance, or the location. We appreciate the feedback about upstairs neighbors and we always encourage residents to be considerate of others. Thank you for being a resident here and we're so glad to receive your review!
I lived in this community for about 4 years and it progressed every year! I never had any issues. The office staff(especially the current staff) were always amazing. The grounds were kept neat, the neighbors were always quiet, and maintenance was ALWAYS prompt. I only moved because the rent continued to increase(understandably) and I just couldn’t see myself paying that much to rent instead of owning. If it were up to me I would have stayed another year, but it was time to move on. Park at Midtown definitely spoiled me. Definitely consider this place if you’re looking for a great community.
The Park at Midtown looked to be a very nice community however they have a serious dumpster overflow problem and it looks horrible. Also the lake that is in the front needs to be cleaned up. It is no telling what is living in that lake.
I've lived here a year, and I genuinely don't recommend it. Our entire complex (neighbors and all) are infested with roaches. They have pest control included in their rent, but it sucks. Even though they come once a month, we still find them. One of the bedrooms keeps growing mold. It's like whenever we fix one problem, another pops up. Our apartment wasn't cleaned when we first got there. We mopped the floor 8 times and our mop water was black every time! The apartment in general is just in bad condition. However, the staff and maintenance are absolutely 10/10. They respond to things within 36 hours. They're the only reason I'm even leaving 2 stars, I almost left 3 for them. They're absolutely incredible and I can't say enough positive things about them. It's just the apartment itself that is just uncomfortable to live in.
DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For starters, they claim to have newly renovated apartments, they don’t. When we moved in NONE of our cabinets had doors.... maintaince men were in the way doing finishing touches while we were moving in when it should’ve been done before move in day. They were holes in the walls(I have pics) as well as a lot of discoloration on the walls. The showers heads were detached( i have pics) & no doors on closets. FOR TWO, ISSUE WITH BUGS. I’m a very clean person, & have killed multiple insects throughout my house & on my patio. Extra fee for pest control included in the rent, but even if you put in a work order, they come out a month late. FOR THREE, MY AIR CONDITIONING UNTIL HAS BROKE ABOUT 3 times this year. Each time it takes maintenance multiple days to figure out how to fix it before fixing it. The individuals who work in the office are NEVER consistent & by the time one person tells you one thing, they’ve been fired. I would recommend living in a cave before signing a lease here.
This is the best office staff this company could of ever put together! They are vary friendly and helpful. You will fill at home when you first walk in to the door. The leasing consultant need a raise!!!

Thank you so much for your feedback! We truly appreciate each member of our team and we are so happy to hear that you do as well. Thank you for being a valued resident of Park at Midtown!
This apartment is located in prime location to I73/I85 and the New Garden/Friendly area but that is the only thing going for it. It's an older property that the owners, who change regularly, have not kept up. There are crater sized pot holes throughout the property. I didn't do my due diligence and got stuck in a lease b/c I didn't take the time to ride around the property. The bathrooms don't have fans and the there are no overhead lights in the bedrooms. The office staff are nice to deal with but they change regularly as well. Trash litters the parking lot and the maintenance guys can take a while to actually resolve an issue. My ice maker didn't work for the first 5 months and when maintenance finally repaired it he cut the kitchen tile while moving the refrigerator. The layout of the 2 bed/2 bath is nice once finally in the apartment but all the issues outside are incredibly off putting. The drainage system doesn't work properly, after heavy rains there is flooding by the steps and a leak in the main siding collects on the floor as you reach the second floor. This can be very dangerous in the winter when this large puddle freezes over. I am counting down the days until my lease expires. ***Please take the time to ride through the entire complex before you sign your lease***
