Park at Peachtree Memorial

I've live here 4 years and while there have been issues, be mindful that when you move in, your moving into an old building constructed in the 1920's. That being said where else will you find a place with hardwood floors, washer / dryers in the units, pet friendly, 2br 1ba 925 sq ft, quiet street and right off of Peachtree with easy access to shopping, dining, groceries, etc. I would say my overall experience has been great. The only major issue I've had have been with the water heater and ac units. Each time I received new units. The complex was recently sold a year ago and the new management has been helpful in getting everything turned around. Theresa has been dream and a pleasure to work with.

I have been a resident of this community for over 3 years, and I can completely vouch for what this person states. At one point I was considering filing a lawsuit due to the negligence. It was almost inhabitable in my apartment for 6 months.

I will start with something positive. The only thing positive about this property is its location. After that, it is all terribly downhill. The property management company are the worst I have ever experienced in renting apartments for the last 10 years. They neglect their tenants with the reckless abandon. They do not care that units flood profusely during a light rain. They do not care when your property is ruined due to the excessive leakage. They do not care when you make double digit attempts to contact them and resolve the issue because it is getting progressively worse. They simply do not care about their tenants. I first moved into the property while it was being managed by a different company. I never had one issue with them and maintenance requests were always handled professionally and in a timely manner. With the new company, First Communities, it has been the worst experience I can imagine dealing with a property management company. I have spoken with other tenants who have expressed concerns similar and even worse than my own, meaning it is not an isolated incident and the negligence is rampant throughout. I even had a stranger knock on my door to ask about the community since when she called to get information, no one ever returned her call. I told her that if we as tenants cannot get any dignified response for our living conditions, don't hold her breathe to hear back from someone. I am utterly astounded as to how a company can comport themselves in such a way. They have been renovating a few units and without warning they barged into our apartment and began ripping out the walls and windows to replace them. I might add, they were not let in by myself or my roommate and there was absolutely no warning before the workers, who were not even a part of the management company, barged in and began their invasive construction. You may think they were trying to resolve the excessive leakage and water damage by replacing the windows. However, you'd be mistaken since the windows they began busting out were on the complete opposite side where we were experiencing the water cascading onto the floor and around our dining area. This only scratches the surface in regards to their gross negligence. I would recommend people rent anywhere but here. They do not care about you or your well-being. That is not hyperbole, that is simply a fact.
