Property Ratings at PARK AVENUE
Maintenance was awful, never got any work done. Office literally will ignore you and tell you they will help and never do
Property Manager at PARK AVENUE, Responded To This Review
We appreciate your feedback and we're truly sorry to hear about your concerns with maintenance. We take your experience seriously and are committed to improving our service. We invite you to connect with us directly to discuss this further. Your satisfaction is our priority at Park Avenue.
From the beginning have dealt with bathtub overflowing with toilet waste, dishwasher flow with bathroom waste and roaches and mold, broken refrigerator, ac leaks, dirty vents, roaches that never go away. Taken months and one issue a whole year to get a resolve. This is your sign to keep looking for someplace to live with better living quality and conditions. These are apartments and townhomes connected to each other. Don’t think you’ll get lucky, all units will therefore have the same issues. Don’t go by the company pictures online, amenties photos, or advertising about renovated apartments or customer service. Make your judgment to avoid this community based on the reviews about the living conditions because you want your home to be a place of peace and quality for you and your family.
Not a single person cares about anything but your money here. It’s been 3 years of disappointment while I save up money to buy a house. On the bright side, I’m so eager to leave I’m dumping everything I have into my savings. This place is a nightmare. The list of complaints in long. The list of compliments is nonexistent. You’ve been warned.
I’ve lived in this apartment community for 6 years. Over that amount of time 3 different property owners have been in management. Goldoller has been the worse by far. They’re office team isn’t responsive to requests or concerns. The Maintenance department is pathetic. We submitted requests reporting our microwave is broken months ago, they closed the ticket without replacing it. Our dishwasher doesn’t clean the dishes, this has been reported, they closed the ticket without repairing or replacing it. Our ice maker in the fridge would flood the kitchen, two different techs came out to repair it and couldn’t. So we turned it off. Since then, the fridge broke entirely and had to be replaced, we lost $250 worth of food as a result. Our stove often times stops working. There’s an electrical issue with it. I’ve reported this frequently over the last 3 years. The stove has not been replaced. And often the water gets shut off for everyone in our area. No advance notice. And we often get an email reporting 6-7 hours after it was shut off. In September, an occupant was removed from our lease. That occupant had a storage unit on the lease. We were told by Derrick in the office that we can bring in the key and the storage unit will be removed from lease. They emptied the storage unit & when we tried to returned the key in September, the Assistant Manager said the unit needs to remain on the lease. We don’t use it. First off, it wasn’t ours, it was the occupant’s, and second, it has rodents! Yes, mice! The unit has holes and areas for pests to enter. Why would we want a rodent riddled storage that we never asked for? Do not consider living here. These people are unprofessional but will smile in your face as they politely tell you kick rocks in response to anything you need. Not to mention they recently added WiFi for residents. One of many egregious charges on everyone’s lease. It cost $57, for 100 Mb of service. We personally have an upgraded business class internet already; we work remotely and require reliable service with more bandwidth.. We are NOT using their so called WiFi services and yet $57 has been added to our lease. In addition to valet trash, we NEVER use, we empty our own trash. Pest control that has only been in my unit twice in the last three years, and parking, which is not assigned, or protected, but there is a fee. I repeat, do NOT move here!!!
Previous review is totally correct, 9 years here now forcing the tenants to pay for WiFi services regardless. There is no option for Seniors or disabled people. Peo who don’t use cable or internet. Be prepared to pay about extra $200.;every month. Rent, water, sewer, trash, exterminator, parking oh yes and now WiFi. When does it end. Nickel and dimes. This place is nice looking but got underlying issues management certainly will deny there’s nothing wrong or out of the ordinary. Read between the lines,
They've gotten sneaky with name changes to avoid bad reviews so I will make sure that accurate things are posted on here. Oh boy where to start. Let’s start with the RAT and PEST issue that has been present since we moved in July of 2019. We’ve had maintenance come out and their so-called pest control and nothing changed, not to mention it must be requested for them to come out to spray. They do not regularly spray or do check in; they require you to request it even though you pay for their service which is the most backwards process I’ve ever heard. My neighbors are seeing the same thing as far as rats and pest. The wood and roofs of their townhomes are paper thin and are covered in mold (they are painting over it to hide it). The roof and flooring in the homes are fall apart, we’ve had numerous issues with leaking ceilings. Since we are talking about ceilings, there are NO fans in their townhomes. We’ve had outlet/electric issues in every room where some of the outlets either work in only one slot or not at all. Maintenance has been requested a handful of times but never seem to fix them all. They are insanely slow but to their credit the property is huge, and they are understaffed. When an issue is entered you look at about a week if not longer on someone coming by to check (not fix). Landscaping is a joke, check out the landscaping near the townhomes and you’ll see most of the trees, plants, walkways look like they haven’t been touched in years. Trash valet is a joke, they don’t take but a certain # bags and now make you work around their schedule as far as when you can and cannot put out your trash. Would be easier just to have trash shoots or make people throw their own trash away and bypass having your residents pay. The interior of many of the apartments/townhomes are just resurfaced and repainted to cover up mold and decay. I have wanted out of my lease since the day I moved in and have contemplated paying the 2 months forward to get out but luckily my lease ends in two months, so the end of the road is near. Do yourself a favor and request to see the apartment you are moving into and not a model. We were shown something similar but MUCH nicer on our tour. They hid the ugly parts of the property but do some walking around and you will see what I am referring to. I’ve posted this post a handful of time and they seem to be deleted or removed…
