Property Ratings at Park City Apartments
I lived at park city apartments for 2 years, every other day we had no water, or had no hot water, then myself and two other people who lived in the apartment building where i lived got letters about grills where there was many people in other buildings who had grills they didn't receive no letter at all, so they was picking on our 3 apartments, We feel behind due lack of work through covid we was getting help through the housing authority, and because I had a breed they didn't allow they didn't renew our lease, because of the breed of my dog and because i was getting housing help. Which I talked to couple others who wasn't getting there lease renewed as well they was getting housing help as well. mind you I lived there for 2 years i had the dog the day I moved in, and he was service animal i sent all the paper work. When I first got the apartment the lady who was helping me is the one told me to get him certified because they couldn't deny him then. While there other tenants who had breeds that was on there list they are still living there. Parking at the B and C buildings are a joke you never have parking because people have 4 to 5 cars when your suppose to have 2 to 3 depends on how many bed rooms you have. NOTHING was every done about the amount of cars. Cars was being towed that had tags in them while other cars who didn't have tags in them didn't get towed. I will never refer someone to park city apartments when someone ask me about the apartments i tell them to run, they are tiny for price, have no space, walls are paper thin, doors if you want call them doors never stay on the track i had someone come fix them 5 times, they still didn't stay on track, no hot water many times you have get cold shower, for the price you pay you can go else where. The only good thing came out park city was the neighbors was so friendly and nice if we had a problem we went to each other talked about problem instead going lease office. But thank you i found something better and my new landlord is going care about there tenant park city surely doesn't management when first moved in was great know the management is poorly they need get new management in there actually pay attention what going on around the apartments not pick on certain people. If i could give zero stars i would because that what park city apartments is worth
I resided at Park City Apartments from 10/2017 until 10/2019 obviously just recently moving out and I am disgusted with how things run/the treatment I received. First: there is almost ALWAYS trash laying everywhere on the property and never once did I see maintenance pick it up, though residents should be held responsible also it was gross to walk past everyday. Second: the water was shut off SO many times, I work 12 hour shifts as a RN and when I got off work to no water that was extremely upsetting. Third: the FIRST apartment I lived in was decent for my first apartment and had a balcony I was happy there. They forced me to move out due to renovations only taking off $200 for that months rent saying "it would cover moving costs"? They moved me to the North Side to an apartment without a balcony and did not even let me look at the place before I moved in, literally told me I wasn't able to view it and then expected me to just move in. Also, during the renovation/move out process they gave me ONE month to be out in the beginning of March, whatever it was their timeline but for some reason I noticed many other tenants were still there for up to 2 months AFTER I was forced to move? Fourth: one day I requested maintenance for something I can't remember..they showed up while I was working without notifying me the only reason I knew was because my cat was missing...they LET HER OUT so I had to go search for her on the property. Last but not least: during my process of finally leaving this awful residence I had received an email asking me to come in and change their paperwork as the lease said I needed to be out October 1st, so when clarifying this they told me to come in and adjust THEIR paperwork so I was out by September 30th, I figured no big deal I will just hand my keys in on the 30th which I did. They called me the next day telling me I OWED them $30.51 charging me for October 1st because I never came in to adjust their paperwork even though they received the keys and move out survey from me on the date requested. Overall, I am so displeased and hopefully this will help any other future renters save themselves from many headaches. LIVE ANYWHERE ELSE.
if you don't have perfect credit then don't waste your time or money applying here. Also, they will rent out the unit you'd possibly be looking at, right from under your feet.
If I could give 0 stars, I would. I lived here with my family for less than a year before Park City forced residents out to make renovations. I'm used to living in older and cheaper apartment complexes, but this was the worst place I have ever lived. 1) We were forced to move out with just about a month's notice. Management said they would offer transfer options, but the only options offered to stay were to increase our rent by $200 a month for an upgraded unit! How nice for Park City... Management was not helpful nor flexible. The move cost us a lot of money, time, and resources. I'm not happy about the cost we had to absorb. 2) This place is poorly run. Water is frequently shut off for hours at a time. Why? Poor maintenance on an old building. We had a leak in our bathroom, and the maintenance guy said "it's fine." They didn't fix it and we lived with a wet ceiling for weeks. Gross! Water problems are frequent here: from backed up sinks, leaks, and shutting it off completely. 3) Trash is every where on the property. I often saw Park City Staff come to our building and not pick up the trash. While residents shouldn't throw cups and fast food trash on the lawn, staff should pick it up and care for the property. Management could make a few quick fixes to care for residents better. Living on the first floor was miserable since trash was all over the yard. We had to email management to ask them to pick up trash around our building. 4) Everything costs extra. The tiny pool and the tiny gym cost. No thanks. I'd rather not have a life guard on duty and have free access to the pool. All in all, this place is a miss. It's far too expensive for something so poorly run. I have also noticed that they do seem to delete negative reviews. I hope they respect my experience as a resident and the reviews of other residents. My hope is that management can listen and learn from residents to provide better service to others.
I have heard several residents complain about being swindled by the management of this operation. Prices are high for what you get.
Appalling. The staff are incompetent and have no interest in providing a service. they increase rent prices every year. they tow away family and friends cars for more than 300 dollars. very poor maintenance. the grounds are dirty and have dog excrements all over
North side (south side is older and not as nice) Fairly decent 1BR. Dishwasher, In Unit Laundry. But in the summer... a disaster. These apartments get supernaturally hot. And the Air Conditioning units cannot cope. Expect $300 a month in electric bills and still have to swelter in 80 degree apartments. They recently put on new roofs, but my electric usage is higher this year than last year. Since the new owners took over building maintenance has stopped being proactive. They used to come around twice a year and change AC/Heater filters and (if you asked nicely) vacuum out the dryer vents. But since the new management took over that has stopped. They are pet friendly. I see lots of my neighbors with pets. Overall, this place isn't so bad.
