Property Ratings at Park Commons
I've been living at Park Commons for just over a year and it has been an amazing experience. I plan to continue living here until I decide to buy a house. The location is perfect for me and my grandparents love that its a gated community. Klare and Otto are always prompt in answering emails and calls as well as being super helpful and friendly with me like when my car was in the shop. I've only had a few "issues" while living here and by that I mean normal repairs. A leaky dishwasher, lightbulbs out, and air conditioning repairs. Each one was promptly solved and usually while I was at work which I really appreciate.

I love living at Park Commons Apartment. Gated community with an amazing management team. Neighbors are good and friendly. Most spacious and perfect floor plans than several other apartments that we toured.

When driving by, you may notice this quaint complex and how lovely the grass looks, but I assure you there are major issues depending on which building you live in. Parking is atrocious and there is a waitlist for a a garage as far as I know. I’ve had many issues to the point where I’d come home from work and there would be no places to park near my building or many people would double park, leading to limited places. I would email or call management time and time again as this was such an annoyance and they would say “we will see what we could do”. They knew that the serial offenders were not in fact residents but would not do anything to stop them even after I required proof. The units are not updated and frankly, I do not believe they should be charging so much without atleast getting stainless steal appliances. Let’s, W/D, pro-rated utilities are all EXTRA charges so the base rent is much higher if you take into effect of all of that. Also be very careful about ordering any packages or food (such as UberEats, DoorDash). I have had many of my packages delivered to the wrong building or just flat out go missing without a trace. Since this happens so frequently, I’ve had to direct my packages elsewhere as there is no guarantee that they’d be there. The “mailroom” is outside and the last thing you’d see before going to your car and unfortunately, many of the carriers (USPS, UPS, FedEx) do not deliver to your door, so they will leave it out in the open.

Hello, and thank you for reaching out. We’re sorry to learn that your experience with our community wasn’t to your satisfaction. Nothing "Luxury" about this place. Dated apartments, low end appliances, cabinets, counters etc., incompetent maintenance staff. Now there are not even any amenities to some what make up for it, no pool, no gym, no working gate on dog park or any activities in the dog park. The only thing "luxury" is the price tag. Save your time and look elsewhere.
I feel safe here because of the electronic gating system and cameras. I love that my apartment has a view of the pool too with good lighting. There is a dog run too that my pet can have fun in!
I am currently living in the property and There is a reason why the rent is cheap... your paying to live in a unprofessional establishment. It take weeks just to get work orders put in and taken care of and the management is horrible. They treat your personal property like trash. It's honestly the worst place I have lived and I know a nice property when I see it. They like to slap the word "luxury apartments" in front b/c they have a 4 foot pool... all in all save your self the headache and money.
Lived here for just short of two years on the ground floor. During that time my apartment flooded twice. Once due to a leaky pipe in the wall, and once due to heavy rain. The gutters are undersized for the buildings and regularly overflow. The maintenance staff is slow to fix anything. When they do come good luck getting it done in a timely manner. Leaky pipe in the wall took one week to fix. Took another week for them to come offer to clean the mess. I had already cleaned it. Lost a couple hundred dollars of kids toys due mold that had grown during the waiting for them to fix it time. The gate was broken for 8 months out of the 23 months we were there. Our patio was underwater every time it rained. They never came to fix that. We always got the answer we are working on it. When we decided we had enough we let them know we were moving and filled out the paperwork to due so. They agreed to terminate the lease. Then a year later a 5400.00 collection shows up. They lied to us went to court behind our backs and wrote up a outrageous bill. Thanks Park commons and Stone creek!!! I would not recommend this place to anyone!!!!
Park Commons has been my home for over a year now. I know one day I will have to move and find another place to call home, but for now I'm happy here. It's close to two major interstates, but it's tucked away in a nice, quite, and peaceful area. So the location is great. The layout of the apartments are slightly weird, but it works and the overall look is simple enough where it doesn't look dated. The residents range from young adults to more mature, senior adults, but for the most part, a lot of the residents are respectful and polite. Except when someone is driving down the wrong way on the one-way lane for the property and almost clip your car and proceeded to use disrespectful hand gestures. Since I've been here, there have been 3 property managers and now 3 leasing managers. So the consistencies of rent rates and policies are not in sync, but who ever is here, they try to do there job well and effective. The maintenance staff always seems shorthanded though. But it is a big property to handle. I've had two incidents (mold and air conditioning unit not working properly) where the maintenance was not on top of it, but I called the property manager and the jobs got done right the second time. Though I would prefer not to have that happen for a third time since it can cause a lot of stress. Overall, I enjoy living here, even with the little hiccups. But you can get that anywhere you live!

Thank you so much for you kind words. We work hard to make sure everyone has a great experience. Please let me know if there is anything you need and I will make sure it gets taken care of ASAP!
I've been here for a year and our new management staff is on point than our old ones. Each day I can see improvement like new boards for the steps or the use of alcohol in the pool area. The only thing that I don't like about this complex is parking. Right when you pull in there is plenty of space but then the rest of the area has garages, and of course those are extras. But I just signed another year lease with Park Commons and I couldn't be happier (besides the parking).

Thank you for your kind words. We really strive to make everyone's stay with us a great one. I understand your frustrations regarding parking. Please let the office know if there is anything we can do for you in the meantime.
If you're looking for a spacious two bedroom two bath then this is your place if you're content with location. However the room apt is all you're going to get. Before you move in make sure you pay close attention to detail becuase when I moved in they told me we get "one free carpet cleaning a year" however they did not honor that. If you're into the gym then you might want to consider a gym membership because there is only one weight machine and a couple cardio machines in a little tiny shed. Trying to leave? Well Park Commons is a one way so you'll have to go all the way around the whole complex unless you want people blocking you off or even yelling at you to go to other way. Management has changed since I've been here as well. The ladies running the show now seem extremely strict and act like they live here. No we dont want pool passes and Im 21 why can't I take my alcohol to the very small 5ft pool? Once again very spacious but poor rude management and not to much to look forward too.
Property Manager at Park Commons, Responded To This Review
Thank you for writing this review. We work hard in the office to make sure everyone has a pleasant stay. We decided on the pool passes because we had a pool monitor and it is easier for them to determine who lives at the complex and who does not. The ban on the alcohol was because we had some issues over the summer. Please know that we work very hard to maintain the amazing community. Please call the office with any questions or concerns.
