In Northwest DC, the attention-grabbing Georgetown area has an unassuming neighbor to the north in Glover Park, which provides a quiet, small-town feel for residents to escape from the bustle of university students and M Street shoppers to the south.
Glover Park has become well-established as an ideal landing spot for young families still looking to be connected to the city, but it has more space at a better value than other parts of Washington, DC. Perfect row-home-lined streets fill in the majority of the neighborhood, while one of Northwest DC's main commercial thoroughfares, Wisconsin Avenue, runs right along the eastern border of the neighborhood.
The beauty, charm and historic feel of DC exist in spades in Glover Park. Each row home with its little porch out front, the tree-lined streets, and numerous parks are all packed into a mini community to form a lovely spot to call home.

Property Ratings at Park Crest Apartments
My apartment is next to the Fitness Center. Wall to wall. College students and young men come during the day, at night after 10 pm and make an unbearable noise with the weight machines. They drop the weight stacks from on high, they drop the weights on the floor and play loud music or TV, between 10 pm and 1 am. They do not care about neighbors. To make such a loud noise after 10 pm is a violation of the DC Code. I have reported the issue to the manager several times but unfortunately until today nothing has been done. I am unable to sleep because of the noise. That has happened since Dec. 2021, when I got here.
The year I spent in the community was awesome! It was very quiet, definitely larger apartments than 90% of DC for an affordable price and staff has been nothing but helpful from Day 1. I would recommend these apartments to anyone, especially professionals in need of peace and quiet, tucked away yet close to the city. Also—never experienced any unexpected guests(bugs, mice, etc.), so the complex is well kept! Parking is unpredictable but the community/quality of living outweighs this. Would definitely live with Park Crest again!
We have lived in Park Crest for nine months now and are very happy with it. The area is quiet but close enough to Glover Park, Tenleytown and even Friendship Heights. The proximity to the park makes you feel like you aren't in the middle of a huge metropolis and is great for getting out. The apartments are older but well kept. Because it is an older building, I rarely hear our neighbors when we are in the apartment- a huge plus. Also, the layout of the apartments allows for a lot of windows and light. But what really stands out is the service here. The property managers are responsive and helpful. And the maintenance is excellent! Every time I have submitted a maintenance request, the team responds that same day (usually within four hours) and resolves the issue. The maintenance team is also very friendly, respectful and provides any information to help us manage whatever the issue was in the future (if need be).

Hi there, Thank you so much for your feedback! We're so glad to hear you have enjoyed the quiet residential neighborhood and style of Park Crest. It's also great that our onsite management and maintenance teams have upheld our customer service standards. We hope you continue to love living here!
Staff was very unprofessional and unwelcoming. Also, upon arrival for my showing the agent switched the apartment that she was originally going to show me. Instead of showing me an upper floor apartment, she instead switched to a basement apartment next to the laundry room. In addition she also made me leave and ID with her before leaving for the showing. I have been on many apartment tours and this has never been done. I suspect these things were done was due to the preconceived feelings the agent has about people who look like me. She also told me a higher rent price that we discussed less than 48 hours before my showing. To make it all worse, upon entering the muggy, damp, and dark basement apartment, 2 dead cockroaches lied face up on the floor while one continued to run across. Upon notifying the agent, the agent insisted on correcting me that the bug was a waterbug and not a cockroach, instead of apologizing for the poor hygienic state of the apartment. This was hands down the worst showing experience of my life. DO NOT LIVE OR RENT FROM THIS COMPANY!!

Hi there, Thank you so much for your feedback! We apologize for any confusion or miscommunication you may have experienced while touring Park Crest. Our availability and prices are subject to change daily, so this is why our Leasing Associate had to show a different apartment home and why the rent fluctuated. It is also our policy for the safety of our employees as well as per fair housing laws that we take everyone's ID who tours with us. We apologize if you felt we singled you out, however we assure you that was not the case. As for the cockroaches, that is certainly not up to our standards and our onsite team has already made plans to have the exterminator come out immediately. We're very sorry that happened. We hope this explanation helps. We appreciate your feedback! All the best, Lindsay Corporate Customer Service
First of all, when I was looking for apartments in DC I had the hardest time. I relied mainly on reviews from people, so hopefully this will help someone looking for a place. I looked all over DC - the biggest challenge for me is that I have a 50lb dog. If you don't have a dog, there are probably lots of places that might suit you better. Dog people - this is the spot. The fact that I'm in the same place after 3 years says something about the quality of the place. For the price, my 1 bedroom apartment is rather large - and I LOVE that all utilities are included. It's hard to find that. The main reason I chose this apartment is because it's incredibly hard to find a place that will accept a dog over 25lbs in DC. The building I live in is also directly across the street from Glover Park, which is part of Rock Creek Park. It has some really fun trails and a huge field. It's a little inconvenient as far as public transportation because the nearest metro stop is Dupont. The bus does run through the neighborhood, but I'm glad I have a car. Whenever I have a maintenance request, it's taken care of the next day (or sometimes the same day). The leasing office staff are friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that either the walls and floors are really thin, or I have really bad luck with neighbors. I can hear what sounds like loud stomping pretty much all the time. I knocked on their door one night and asked them to keep it down - they denied they had anything to do with it. I complained to the leasing office 3 times but they didn't do much about it. Anyways, overall, this is really a great place to live - especially if you have dogs. If you don't have dogs, not sure it's really worth the price unless you're a student nearby or something.

Park Crest offers beautiful apartments on the edge of Georgetown and the woods of Rock Creek Park. You'll be walking distance from American University, Safeway, Starbucks, bars, and restaurants, but can come home to a quiet community that feels miles away from the city. The maintenance staff responds immediately to issues within the day reported. All floorplans include chandeliers, extremely useful china cabinets in the kitchen/dining area, and vintage hardwood floors.

Park Crest is an apartment complex on the edge of Glover Park in Washington DC. I chose this neighborhood because of its proximity to Georgetown University. 1. Location advantage My daily commute involves walking for a total of eighteen minutes. I pass through a part of the forest called Whitehaven Parkway, which is like being transported to the set of Pocahontas- I assumed there would be a paved path, because a route is visible in Google Maps, but there is none. This poses a challenge as the dress code for class is business casual, so I need to carry an extra pair of shoes everywhere. Nevertheless, walking through the park is a great way to start the day. 2. Amenities Park Crest offers basement laundry, a nice little gym, bike racks, and a lot of communal outdoor space with tables and grills. I have seen deer and other small forest animals on the grounds. It is a pet friendly community. The building is old but well maintained. I have noticed frugal design choices (I have two different styles of laminate counter-top installed in my kitchen), but everything is clean and sturdy- nothing fancy. 3. Rent The rate is very reasonable and online payments are easy to set up. 3. Management Service The management company is a huge asset to Park Crest. The staff is very accommodating and I see someone daily, from either the maintenance crew or the cleaning service, who is happy to help with a heavy package. 4. Ceilings I am in a basement "efficiency" studio which is compact at 220 square feet, but the ceiling is nice and high so my loft bed works great.
I fell in love with this apartment from the ads and continue each day. While sometimes it feels not close the price, community, and safety are worth it. I come home to this large one bedroom apartment happy that I made the choice to live here. Management responds to requests quickly, the rent is affordable, and it is located near the metrobus stops. It is not a new building but it is gorgeous and affordable. Lots of 20-30 somethings and access to shopping and beautiful scenery.
My apartment is in a great location in DC that is decently close to my school and many, many shops. The size of the apartment is a steal in the area for its price. The amenities (covered utilities, including air conditioning) are fantastic and very much worth it. Overall, a great place!
Park Crest apartments are remarkably suburban in the larger context of Washington, DC. With access to running and walking trails less than a block away, a community garden, and Metro Bus stops on nearly every corner, these apartments are perfect for people who not only love nature but also appreciate the social aspects of DC. The Glover Park neighborhood proves the perfect balance between a quiet suburban neighborhood and a hub for social activities at restaurants and bars.
