Property Ratings at Park Del Amo Apartments
We enjoyed our 3.5 years living at Park Del Amo Apartments. Our apartment was spacious, modern, and in good shape. Staff were helpful and the maintenance team responded to our requests in a timely manner. Even though you're conveniently close to major roads, the cul-de-sac is quiet and peaceful, with regular care for the landscaping. I like the courtyard organization and trees (although some of the largest ones had to be replaced a few years ago). We only left because we moved to a different part of LA County for a different neighborhood feel. If you are looking for an apartment in Lakewood, this complex is great. Miscellaneous details: Central air that you can switch out for a Nest thermostat of your own. On-site, shared laundry facilities distributed around the buildings - usually there was enough capacity that I didn't have to wait. There are trash dumpsters near each building, but only two recycling dumpsters on one side of the complex and they aren't well-marked or always properly used. Each apartment gets one garage parking spot, and street parking on the cul-de-sac is available but in demand. Mail goes to a mailbox, while packages are left on your doorstep. People generally keep to themselves though are friendly when you cross paths.
Management does not operate with a sense of urgency and they deflect responsibility. Safety is a huge concern.
The apartments structurally and internally are well maintained. The appearance is very inviting. The staff are always available, professional and courteous. If I had a maintenance request, the request are always completed timely.
Beautiful Park Del Amo Apt , their in the best location ,near schools,restaurants ,and shopping malls, you couldn't ask for a better place to live.its in a cotta sack ,which it makes for quite living and beautiful landscape ,the rent is a little pricey for a one bedroom,and their 2bed as well,but I guess as they say location,location .and the apt have all been upgraded with central heat and air and dish washer,built in microwave , last but not lease granic counter tops .,but if you don't mind not having a gym or pool on the location then guess this is for you , I love the location and large bathrooms and bedrooms ,but Rent now is way out of control and 1,465.00 is rather high for me ,so I will be looking for a new home for sure
This apartment complex is perfect if you like living close to the city park.The mall and restaurants, and the movies. It is close to many stores and the post office is close. I like the fact that the management staff respond very promptly to all requests and are very courteous. The apartments are newly renovated with laminate flooring, granite countertops and sink fixtures. They have beautiful ceiling fans and high ceilings. The patio is huge and beautifully shaded by trees for shade and privacy. I love it. L. Nelson
Park Del Amo is in the heart of Lakewood, CA. It is close to many stores and restaurants, including the newly opened Jimmy John's Gourmet Sandwiches right on Candlewood Dr. Please stop by when in Lakewood!
This is the perfect apartment building. The area is quite, has many restaurants and a shopping mall near it surroundings. The amenities are also great. We have a two bedroom one bath. Its 1300 square foot. Large living room and master bedroom and large second bedroom with a moderate kitchen and breakfast nook. There's room for a laundry inside the apartment. But tenant have to use the facility outside within the apartment premises. Many neighbors such has ourselves have lived in these apartment for ten years or more. Its disappointing that our rent increase and now we have to look for another place. We hope we win so we can stay forever. Yards and trees are neatly prune and cut. A real pleasant place to live.
Nice unit A/C was good. Properly maintained.Nice outside area including barbecue. Outside parking is a bit of a challenge. Close to the mall
The apartments were very nice and well maintained also the grounds, pool area, picnic and patio area and the social area where you can use the computers, relax and play games or watch tv. What I did not like after I filled out the application and paid my deposit and was given the apartment I selected that would be ready for me to move into on August 30th. One hour later I got a call from them stating my credit report failed and wanted me to get a co-signer and they would have to pay 5 times the monthly rent for me to get the apartment. I have filed and complaint with the credit bureau. The leasing agent could not even tell me what my credit report said.
