The heart of the city is a bustling hub filled with breweries, theaters, nightclubs, coffee shops, boutiques, art galleries, and more. Property Ratings at Park East
The only good thing I have to say is "Thank God my child no longer lives in this apartment." It has been one issue after another since moving in. First, took over 2 months to get gift card they were supposed to get at move in. Second, washing machine and dryer did not work for first three months. Third, payments got messed up two months in row. Fourth, Air conditioning did not work for the last month in apartment. Fifth, no one ever showed up for check out inspection and was told by individual claiming to be General Manager that they had stopped doing inspections two days earlier and refused to do inspection. Lastly, the three roommates had to share one key for the mailbox because management never could find more than one key. Oh almost forgot. When my child went to move in they originally gave them a key for the wrong room. All I can say is buyer beware with these people.
Most of the reviews are 4 years ago. However do not rent from here. I will repeat DO NOT RENT FROM HERE!!! If I could give this place no stars I would Save! Save yourself trouble, time and money. Within 6 months of living here my truck was broke into twice and my motorcycle was almost stolen. The ignition switch drilled out while being in front of their "cameras". Their so called cameras didn't catch anything at all and their excuse is "you live downtown". Did not care one bit. Then my roommates truck got broken into window smashed and their excuse is use the parking garage its safe there. We'll his other truck got stolen out of there. Not to mention many other vehicles get broken into/ stolen and motorcycles stolen and yet they won't do anything. They say they hire security guards to watch this place but as you can tell they do a great job of nothing. When my truck was broken into I talked to the security guard who did not know where he was supposed to be patrolling. Not to mention the internet suck so if your wanting to go to school and have good internet good luck... again save yourself money and time. Do not rent from here. They do not care about their renters they just care about the money your handing them!
The U apartments in Springfield MO is a great place for downtown living. Living right on the strip calls for a great nightlife come weekends with zero driving. The food on the strip calls for great evening dinners and walks. The U just needs more natural light coming in, in a few different units where there are no windows in some bedrooms. All in all the u is great.
