I enjoy it here, however there's still a bag a dog waste outside our door that's been there since you last asked me to leave a review as well as the door to the garage still isn't able to shut nor does it lock. Idk what the point of asking for reviews are if the feedback isn't acted on.

My experience at Park Glen has been my most positive apartment experience. Every interaction with maintenance has been very friendly, helpful, and informative. However, we were recently locked on the patio and could not find an emergency maintenance number anywhere on our lease or the website. Once we were able to locate a previous maintenance phone number, that individual contacted emergency maintenance, and we were back inside in no time. The neighbors we have met are very kind. We believe the unit above us is renovated as we can hear every step. Additionally, dogs in nearby units can be heard barking or howling.

Nice amenities, great location! The gym, pool, grill, and fire pit areas are great. Wish that the pool was open later into the year, but it was closed on Labor Day.

Getting the keys was easy. Apartment itself is really nice. The view is phenomenal. Somethings like fitness/yoga classes are not constant and are voted on by residences. There have also been a few hiccups. The elevator was broken two days but came back online quick enough. There is a pile of junk in the basement around the corner from the elevator. And when I moved in my apartment wasn’t entirely ready, the tiles in the bathroom are moving/broken, the internet wasn’t easily activated, the shelves in my laundry closet are not all up. And some aspects of the move in process have been very ambiguous/not communicated.

Fine if price is most important to you. Older building, old windows and sliding doors make temps hard to sustain. Nothing horrendous but properly just doesn’t feel cared for: overgrown greenery, trash around garage, front door was missing a handle for months

Beautiful, quiet building with lots of great dogs. Close to bike trails and right on a wetland with lots of wildlife. Staff is very responsive to any issues you have.

P ark Glen is my safe haven. I found this little eutopia during a challenging period of my life, and it has been SUCH a blessing to live in such a beautiful, safe place. The fellow residents are wonderful. I love the amenities – I look forward to sitting by the pool ALL WINTER! The 2 exercise rooms are so great, whether you want to heavy lift or do some great cardio or go for a more mindful yoga practice. Will absolutely be renewing my lease for a second time. Love the nature and how clean everything is. All the residents are very nice as well and the move in process was very easy. I also enjoy my own washer/dryer unit as well as the target and Goodwill nearby.

We have lived here going on three years now and absolutely love it. Being connected to the nature preserve feels like you’re up north, in the middle of the city. Neighbor’s are nice and respectful and love my fireplace.
The building is very nice and the employees have been very nice as well. I did have a problem with my lease (due to office shift) and I was not contacted so I had to resign once I came to sign my lease. I have one of the "renovated" one bedrooms and there are a lot of little things that are to note on inventory but the rooms overall are very nice.
I love almost everything about this apartment complex. The only thing that stops me from giving it 5 stars is how warm the apartment is year round. I have to have the windows open in the window or it gets to be 80 inside.

It’s a nice location and pretty at a glance, but we came into a newly remodeled unit and it was extremely clear the remodel was about saving time rather than quality. There were a lot of issues we noticed right away. There is grout from the backsplash left all over the kitchen counter, caulking is cracked, the door frames and base boards don’t fit together great, messy paint jobs in the bathroom, on doors, and places you hoped we wouldn’t see? The unit front door is not fully painted. We had to clean the apartment twice after the remodel to consider the unit clean. The bedroom door did not close because it was not sized for the frame properly. The dishwasher is extremely low quality and frustrating. Things needed to be fixed multiple times and multiple requests put in. Our closet doors don’t have uniform handles and fell out of the frame around 10 times. Heater was broken. Dog park has no grass. We expected a lot more from a brand new remodel and for the very high price point we pay.

Peyton and Lauren have been awesome throughout my time as a tenant. They turned around my unit in a timely manner and got me moved in quickly when I have limited time. My partner and I have had a great experience already - neighbors are quiet and friendly. The location is great, close to walking paths and easy access to groceries and shopping, and you still feel like you're in nature, not surrounded by the city.

Loved living here the past 3 years. Great location, great amenities. When new management came in and started renovating vacant apartments, they didn’t lay any buffer down when ripping out the carpet and putting down laminate. I can hear every step, cupboard opening, any noise at all coming from the above apartment.

It is inconsistent. I have limited trust in office staff. Office staff doesn't offer trouble shooting, and doesn't follow through with their understanding/plan to rectify issues. I've experienced: "yes men" behavior, "spins," and lack of time management. I.e. just tell me if you don't know, and say "But, I can find out, I may need until tomorrow. Regardless of what I find out or not, I will then touch base with where we are." this is not my experience. I get "I don't know; they haven't told us, etc." Again, how about good Customer Service Behavior?" "I don't know, but I will call Corporate, and see what I can find out. Apartment appliances were not completely ready before move in: Refrigerator didn't work (froze my food), and when replaced, it was smaller. Screen door comes off track three time in 5 month (I am careful), kitchen light bulb out. Heat valve was broken. Faucet handle broke in 7 days. Can't recommend. I understand I'm not the only one here. Please staff better.

After living in another community in the St. Louis Park area, I can say that living at Park Glen has been a total upgrade. My renovated 1 BR apartment is spacious, up to date and the in unit laundry and dishwasher is a huge plus. The view from my balcony over looks the Bass Lake Park area and it's a great way to wake up! It is also very pet friendly here and the leasing office/management is very accommodating and easy to get a hold of.

Neutral overall thoughts: Cons: Older building, not centrally heated/cooled, wall a/c in living area (none in bedroom), old windows drafty in winter, hard to cool in summer, water pressure in shower is weak, sink hot water is hit or miss. Pros: Inexpensive ($50) indoor parking that isn't tied to your lease length, kitchen is perfect and nice and updated, lots of square footage, in unit washer dryer, perfect little dog park with toys and ramps, great location on the walking path, plenty of parking for guests

Park Glen has been a great place to live. Living in an updated one bedroom apartment I have really like my unit. It has updated appliances and in unit laundry. I like the location a lot. It has a nice walking loop right behind the building and is a short walk to Wolf park. Great park with pickle ball and tennis courts. Also just a nice park. The building is close to good grocery options and shops. Relatively close to the lakes but not so close that it's very busy around the building. I think it is a good mix of close to the busy areas but secluded enough. Cons/Negatives: The building is extremely close to some train tracks. You will hear the trains. It passes by every few hours, including at night. It does not bother me much, but if you have young children it is very audible from inside my unit. They switched management companies and were not great about communicating a new portal opening. I almost got charged extra and given an eviction warning because of poor communication.

Great office assistance! Lauren has been very helpful and always in a good mood!!! Parking is easy and close to the bldg..Great location. Close to major highways, downtown and stores. In house weight room is clean and convenient to use at any hour of the day!

After living here for over a decade it’s sad to see the condition of the property deteriorating. It’s a great property in a great location however the management team and maintenance need to get on the same page and make sure it’s kept up, broken doors, broken lights are fixed and just over all more attention to detail. I hope that the new management company can turn this around and make it into the beautiful property it was!

A nice quiet place to live. I LOVE the view and access to walking around the preserve. The underground parking is nice. But the best part is they accept dogs!

Since moving in two years ago, we have been through three different management companies who have therefore made us change resident portals to pay, sometimes only giving us less than a weeks notice that we cannot pay online, and charging ridiculous fees for a 12month vs 11month lease

Clean place and management is responsive! The trash chute is really nice. I enjoy the yoga studio and sauna. The big parking lot is really nice since there are always spots.

Living here for the past 18 months has been quite the experience. We are on our third management group. Each group has had a common goal of working to make improvements on the property and its facilities in their time, but all of them have overlooked simple stuff. For example, there have been multiple times that the trash bins did not get moved around causing the chutes to get clogged and created a smell through the building. Generally, we enjoy living here because of the location and proximity to so many things. We have faith that the new management team will continue to drive forward and with time hopefully start to see the little things.

I've lived here for almost three years at this point and the new management has made some significant changes. While many of them are overdue and for safety, others have been extremely disruptive. I feel like I've been living in a construction zone for 9 months. They also changed the flooring in renovated units to vinyl and living underneath it has been pure hell. My upstairs neighbors are so loud and have no regard or respect for the people below them. I wish the landlords would've paid extra to add another level of soundproofing while laying the new floor. I hear everything from my upstairs neighbors including opening doors, closing windows, I hear them talking, I hear cupboards slamming. It is truly a nightmare. Only live here if you are able to get a top floor unit. The other downside to this apartment is the A/C situation. I would avoid this place and cannot wait to move out.
I have lived here two years and used to love it. At the time I moved in, my building was cats only and I chose a south facing view of the Bass Lake Preserve - very quiet and serene. The new owners (Dec 2022) put in a dog park between me and the wetland that DELIGHTS the dog owners, but which instantly disrupted my quiet (and visual) enjoyment of my home. The dead grass and dirt are an eye sore, and the noisy congregation of people and animals well beyond the posted hours of use (9am to 9pm) is obnoxious. I can't have my windows open without hearing everything as though it was right in my living room. The new owners are also making numerous infrastructure repairs that probably were long overdue but that are disruptive. I haven't decided whether to stick it out or leave. I really like my unit and the amenities and the price point. It's really the dog park proximity that spoiled it for me.
I've been here for about 2 years. This place has a nice location and decent amenities. But some individual units have issues. The unit I'm in has poor insulation and heat management. There's one built in wall AC unit and it doesn't reach most of the apartment, so the summers are incredibly hot. And the baseboard radiators are mostly on exterior walls and don't heat the apartment very well when the temperature is below 0 outside. So the winters are also very cold. But these issues are unit by unit, so it's a gamble. Under StuartCo, the management and leasing office were responsive and helpful, and the online resident portal was simple and easy to use. They recently switched owners, and the new management isn't as responsive, and there have been difficulties with the new online portal, specifically with paying rent on time. Overall though, I've enjoyed my time here Guaranteed underground parking, in unit washer dryers, and good sound proofing between units are all great.
Most people probably won't have issues living in this building but keep in mind that if you run into a difficult situation that the leasing company and the building manager might not work with you to resolve the situation.
When I first toured Park Glen, I instantly fell in love with the location. This apartment complex is clean, and surrounded with trees and plants. The staff here is really what makes this place feel like home. Maintenance is taken care of in a timely matter, and the office is always quick to answer questions. You can tell they truly care about the residents here.
