Property Ratings at Park Grove
I am a former resident of park grove apartments in garden grove California. I have had a horrible experience with your management from the complex and a person named Vanessa who is of the management in this complex. We left the apartments April 1st and expected our deposit in full since we left the property clean and in good state after living in there for 3 years. Our deposit did not come in full so we decided to come to management and ask what we’re the charges that they were charging us so I try to speak to lidia a person in charge she did not help us instead was rude and kicked us out of the office with out giving us the courtesy of knowing what and why we’re all the charges about. After that we try to contact someone above her who would help me so I left a message and Vanessa was the one who return my call and made an appointment to meet with me Monday June 10 @4pm. Come today I went to the appointment she made to meet with me and no one was there and the office of the complex was closed she didn’t even give me the courtesy of letting me know ahed that she will not be attending. She called after 4 pm to let me know she will not be attending the appointment and that if I had a question about it I should email her not giving me even the courtesy of me telling her all the trouble I been going though let alone the fact that I only wasted time and gas to meet her when she knew when and at what time that meeting was all I wanted was to be taken cared of as the costumer I was to your company and to say I’m disappointed and dissatisfied with your personal is an understatement they don’t have the least courtesy and are not helpful at all. Her message to me was that the next step was going to court if I wasn’t in agreement with the charges instead of trying to help me her self I am beyond shocked and honestly very dissatisfied costumer all I wanted was to be heard and helped and to understand why these charges were I am trying to reach to you to get at least my message across and hopefully you guys can check the type of people you leave in charge of the people you leave off of your costumers if it assent for us there would be no company . Hopefully in the future you have a staff that is a little more helpful to the people they should be thankful to have a job to.
They lie to you about everything and overcharge you everyday they can. Electricity bill comes out to 300, water and gas an extra 100 and they treat you like the enemy when you ask for assistance.
Worst year of my life! They will over charge! They hide a million things in the lease and when you’re ready to leave they charge you even more.
Property Manager at Park Grove, Responded To This Review
Bob, we are very saddened by your negative impression of our community. Our team always makes a point to ensure all policies and expectations contained in the lease are communicated clearly with the resident and all questions are answered prior to document signing. We are always happy to clear up any concerns or confusion regarding fines and fees associated with move-out during an in-person visit in the office. You're welcome to stop by for a chat anytime during normal business hours. Thank you.
Let me start by saying I am a customer service representative. The way I communicate with people represents the company I work for. Today Saturday 7/07/18 at 1 p.m, I walked into to the leasing office with my family. We don’t get any type of friendly greeting nor she got off her desk to introduce herself. She said “Hello”, from our view we weren’t able to see her face so we thought maybe she was on the phone because her monitor was blocking her face, therefore we didn’t reply. She said “how can i help you “ . Confused wether she was speaking to us because she didn’t make an effort to get up we replied “Hi”. She repeated “how can I help you”, I said “ we are looking for a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment”. She said “ we only have a one bedroom available, what’s the date you guys are planning to move in ?”. I replied as soon as possible. She said “we have something available for August or maybe by the end of the month”. I asked “ Do you have anything available to show us today ?”, she replied “ Like I said one bedroom one bathroom “ her replied had this nasty attitude for no reason. I said “ sure we can look at that one “. She then asked us to have a seat with the same nasty nasty and it made me feel so uncomfortable but I understand that sometimes we all have a bad day, so I tried to ignored it. Once we sat down she asked for I.D which my husband provided his, once she asked for the phone number we did provide one but again she just had this nasty attitude. So I said “ we’re not gonna look at it, thank you “ she right away gave the I.D to my husband by sliding it on her desk. No final word from her
Love the apartment complex. The environment is quiet. Just couldn't afford the increase in rent after one year. A little too spacious for the amount of full time working adults to maintain. But still thankful and loved the year I was there. Maintanence was done timely but compared to my previous place, a few issues seemed to come up every other month. Clogged sinks, toilet issues, shower draining issues. All resolved but happened a few times. Love it. Recommend it if you can afford it
