Property Ratings at Park Lane Apartments
The heat goes out in the winter periodically. The washers and dryers do not work most of the time so you will need to spend money at the laundromat somewhere else. There is an ongoing ant problem in the rental buildings on Pine Street and the landlord basically does nothing. Terrible living conditions, you can find much better for the price.
This place is horrible for many reasons, first of all there are bugs everywhere in the sink in the kitchen and bathtub. No matter how hard you try, will never get rid of them. People steal mail all the time, not only packages but important documents as well ( happened to me ). Loud music at 2 am is a norm, so forget about the restful sleep. The rumors about drugs and frequent police visits are true. if you are older or if you have kids, please stay away form that place.
Such nasty place and nasty mangemnt! There are bugs everywhere and no matter how hard you try, you will not get rid of them. People steal mail all the time, important mail and packages. No privacy as the entrance is connected to other neighbors. Loud music at 2 am is a norm so forget about restful night. Parking lot in the winter will leave you with broken legs as the manger don’t care about putting the salt on the ground. Getting a security deposit is a nightmare. Please stay away, stay away, stay away…
We had looked into these apartments a few months before our lease was up. We wanted to be a little closer to my husbands job, and this location was great. We met with Angelo, came by for a viewing and sent our application form. I called Angelo to follow up on the results for the application and he said everything was fine. He also let me know that the unit wouldn’t be ready until August (2 months later) and I was fine waiting. He said we did not need to put money down, but after talking to my husband, we decided to call him back and offer first months rent to have a lease made starting August for reassurance of a place to live. Crickets. I never heard anything back. I called him, I left messages, I stopped by the office at different times and nothing. Very unprofessional.
I have lived in my apartment building for over three years now, and I must say that it was the best decision that I ever made. Being a mother of two children moving places is not always easy. The people in my apartment building were very welcoming when I moved in and not to mention extremely helpful. Also, this building has their own laundromat which comes in handy all the time.
