Property Ratings at Park Meridian
Park Meridian is generally a fine place to live. However I am noticing increasing issues with responses to building-wide issues, such as washing machines breaking and not being fixed for several weeks until the situation is really bad. Aside from this I find management staff to be very friendly and helpful for other issues, but improvements are needed to maintain issues related to the building's common areas (laundry, door locks).
An amazing place to live, the neighborhood, so many parks near by, and the management staff makes everything perfect. Especially Aryana always goes above and beyond to guarantee Everything is going well. Definitely I highly recommend, you wont regret to live here.
Want to live at home and be able to do laundry at your leisure? Good luck doing that at Park Meridian Apartments. There are no in-unit washer/dryer’s so you are reliant on the CSC maintained units that Van Metre has partnered with. In most buildings (not maintained by awful management) this wouldn’t be an issue. Under Van Metre management, this apartment complex of around 80 units struggles with barely operable machines. None of the laundry machine cycles are the same time/cost, they app doesn’t work, the online access to see if machines are in use is inaccurate, the machines are constantly broken, the credit card machines are always offline, cant connect to the faulty wifi, or not updated so you have to rely on quarters. This has been a known issue to Park Meridian Van Metre management for over a year now and Van Metre continues to not hold CSC responsible for maintaining operable machines. - Honest Park Meridian Reviews 1
Dont live here under Van Metre Management. Awful.
This is a beautiful community to live in, the apartment building sells on its own as soon as you see it. Big studios/apartments with the most amazing sunsets at your private balcony, and at an affordable price. I was concerned about moving to a place without laundry in unit, but the laundry system works with a cellphone app that makes it very convenient, no problems so far. Management is nice, my only complaint is that my stove isn't working well and it has taken a while for maintenance to fix it, but not a big deal.
Good location and features for the price, especially with a balcony. Aryana is excellent to work with. If you are noise-sensitive I do not recommend living here, as you can hear conversations that occur in the kitchen area of neighboring apartments. But aside from that one minor quirk, I am very happy to have chosen Park Meridian.
Its a nice place to live!!!

Thank you so much! We appreciate your review! -Van Metre Management
Park Meridian is the best kept secret in Columbia Heights. Amazing views, large balconies, unbelievable value, fantastic location and extremely professional and friendly management and staff. Absolutely love my apartment and experience of 2 years at Park Meridian Apts. Thank you!
Truly lovely staff and good sense of community. Balconies are brilliant and noise level facing 15th Street is great for DC. Roof deck is a big perk.
I've lived here for a while and I think the new management is much better than the old. There is timely maintenance, preventive care (spraying your house for bugs on the regular), and timely responses to inquiries. You get a sizable balcony and the size of the apartments is on the larger side. There is a roof deck which is pretty nice, but no front door person which has left us open to some thefts. This apartment building was on the affordable side until recently, but now is fairly expensive without the amenities you will see in more modern (but smaller)apartments.
This is a great apartment building if you're looking for an affordable yet fun area of Washington, DC. I am a recent New York City transplant, so I was looking for a neighborhood that still had good access to restaurants and bars. The building is well-maintained and within walking distance of some fun places to go out. The best part is that each apartment comes with a balcony! My one regret is that my studio does not have in-unit laundry and dryer, but the machines in the building take credit card and you can have them text you when your load is finished. A great deal if you're trying to save money in our nation's capital!
