Downtown Bellevue hugs the coast of Lake Washington's Meydenbauer Bay, directly across the lake from Downtown Seattle. Bellevue is an award-winning city, with accolades like the best place to live and start a business. Downtown Bellevue is the heart of this popular city, housing many of the businesses, shops, and Downtown Park -- an emerald-green oasis covering 21 acres and featuring a promenade, shade trees, a canal, and a 240-foot-wide waterfall.
As the city's central business district, Downtown Bellevue covers only about 400 acres -- but it is densely populated with office buildings, hotels, entertainment venues, apartment buildings, and shops. Some of the neighborhood's largest employers include Expedia, Eddie Bauer, Concur, and Paccar. Microsoft, located in nearby Redmond, is the city's largest employer.
Bellevue Square contains a variety of shops and restaurants, while the Bravern is a mixed-use development containing offices, apartments, and shops.

Property Ratings at Park Metro
There is ONLY one elevator in the building and it frequently breaks down. Worst part is that it takes about a month for an elevator to repair. Simply horrible.
Property Manager at Park Metro, Responded To This Review
Thank you for your updated review. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience that this outage has caused. We understand that the elevator outage is troublesome for our residents and it is important to note that the elevator is kept in compliance year-round. Repairs and replacements are not always preventable. We have taken all steps to ensure preventative maintenance is completed year-round. This outage is due to a severe weather issue that affected several buildings in the Bellevue area, according to our elevator company. When these unfortunate situations arise, we do not have control over the necessary processes. Repairs and replacements take time to complete, but they are done to keep the elevator compliant and safe for all residents and guests. We understand the inconvenience this may cause for everyone in the building, and we are actively exploring all available avenues to expedite this process. We have urged the elevator company to prioritize our repairs and explore any means possible to shorten the downtime beyond the initial estimate. We are committed to ensuring that the elevator is back up and running as soon as possible for the convenience and comfort of all residents. We recognize that clear communication is key in addressing resident concerns. To ensure transparency and keep residents informed, we have and will continue to provide regular updates on the progress of elevator repairs and other maintenance projects. Additionally, we encourage residents to reach out to us with any further concerns or questions they may have. Your feedback is invaluable in helping us improve our services and enhance the living experience for everyone in the community. Your Management Team Park Metro Apartments
If you want to have a terrible time, with terrible management this is your place. Nothing could get me to live here again.

Thank you again and we hope to hear from you soon. Your Community Team
After pandemic lockdowns began, things went downhill. Management replaced frequently, elevator breaking and not getting repaired for months, unclean, smelly, tenants dirtying the property - today I found dog poop laying in the lobby. That was it.
This building have only one elevator and it has been down for more than 3 month(3 month - not kidding) before it gets "fixed". Since it's been "fixed", it has been down more than once with-in 2 week. If you need accessible apartment, don't even think about this apparent.
Property Manager at Park Metro, Responded To This Review
Hello and thank you for your review. We are disappointed to see we have missed the mark with your experience at our community. We understand it can be frustrating and inconvenient when elevator issues arise, however please know our team works diligently to ensure these are resolved as quickly as possible and strive to prevent these issues whenever possible with ongoing preventative maintenance and inspections. Please don't hesitate to reach out to us at the office if there is anything we can do to turn your experience at our community around.
The building manager has changed three times within a year (and they’re usually never helpful because they are always still so new), there is no package receiving process and packages are left all over the lobby and do go missing. The elevator goes out of service and it takes weeks to fix and the building is not secure during the day. There also is no sense of community or any offers for community engagement. Compared to other buildings in the area, it is not worth the price. The best thing about the building is the location and that’s it.

Don't live here. 1. Very thin walls. I could hear everything my neighbor's kids say. I could hear them cooking. I could hear people climbing the stairs and etc. 2. Things break ALL THE TIME. There's only 1 elevator and it breaks on a biweekly basis. Sometimes it takes a few days to fix, sometimes it takes MONTHs to fix. I live on the 5th floor. I hurt my back multiple times trying to drag heavy stuff upstairs. It ALWAYS breaks. Not regular maintence, always breaks. The fire alarm broke a few times. People had to evacute and the firetruck came only to find out that it's just broken. There were no fires. We got trolled like this for more than one time, while the elevator's not working. How could it get worse than this????? The underground parking always had water leaking through here and there. We had complaints about it for more than 2 years. Nothing was done until it finally flooded the whole P2 floor. 3. There were 3-4 changes of management during one year. When I send email to management just to find out they no longer work here.... This should speak for itself. 4. Large outdoor patio gets dirty because of the Seattle weather. But somehow we were charged almost $500 for cleaning of the outdoor patio. Overall, it's just.... an extremely terrible experience for us. We don't get many days of peace and quiet. Always always something will happen or break that'll ruin our day. And with this kind of terrible service, they still rob us of security deposits and fees. Honestly, I feel like being bullied big time while living here, and having to pay that much just to get out of this nightmare.... I don't know how to describe my frustration and anger in a polite way.

The designated visitor spots are always occupied by current residents who apparently don't want to pay for their monthly parking fees and have decided to occupy the visitor/future resident parking spots instead. This is really frustrating when REAL guests/visitors come over because there are no parking spots available for them to park in. Management has done nothing to resolve this issue and continue to allow these same vehicles to park in these VISITOR spots without any consequences.

I lived at Park Metro for 28 months and enjoyed many aspects of the complex, but moving out has been a SEVEN-MONTH ordeal due to questionable charges I'm STILL arguing. Prior to leaving in Sept. 2016, I cleaned using soap and/or bleach and disinfectant sprays and wipes. With the exception of a worn area and a few light foot traffic stains where sofas were, the carpet was vacuumed and in good condition. Imagine my surprise when I received a move-out report that declared the apartment was "dirty" and that ALL carpets needed replacement. I was told to pay $100 for professional cleaning, $1,119 for full carpet replacement. I could respect a cleaning fee; I've lived in other places that had one. But Park Metro didn't have one in its contract with me, so I self-cleaned. I keep asking Greystar to point me to the part of my lease that mentions a required, standard cleaning fee. No one's able to do so. It's not there. Accordingly, I won't pay $100 for a cleaner to wipe a few surfaces and spray Lysol. Worse, I know any cleaner, if he/she even existed, wasn't the one who pocketed the extra cash. The carpet cleaner, for whom Greystar do not have a legitimate invoice from--or at least not one they're willing to share--recommended carpet replacement on a handwritten note due to "pet oder [sic]" and a "large stain" (not a stain, but wear and tear from an office chair) in the dining room. Again, the place smelled like bleach. Presumably, even if my dog did cause problems, the $1,300 of pet-related fees I paid would cover the cost of carpet replacement. I looked into the cleaner. They're nearly impossible to find, but they are in WA's corporation directory. There, you learn they've operated without a valid business license for 9 years. Greystar have have completely ignored my questions about this and continue to harass me with bills. In recent months, Greystar have changed their tune. They went from saying the apartment was "dirty" to saying it was in "good condition"--maybe 30ish photos I mailed helped? They also said the cleaning fee was really a "sanitation" charge, but then nebulous sanitation charges aren't in the lease, either. As of April 2017, they've reduced the carpet replacement charges to $399, with no explanation for the reduction or answers to any of my questions. It appears they know they're in the wrong, but still want that last cent. I told Greystar I would write this review if they continued to pursue these charges and ignore my concerns.
Our experience with Park Metro was extremely negative. 1) When we moved in, we have found our apartment not renovated. They painted apartment with us moved in, and all our staff inside. The quality of painting was terrible and we lived in such terribly painted apartment for a year. 2) For this management promised us not to be charged for carpet cleaning. BUT WE WERE CHARGED for it when we moved out, despite we had this promise in written. 3) Management worked terribly during our time in Park Metro. The owner of this place loves to come on short notice for inspection. When this happens, we all suffer. Management initiates the roof cleaning on Sunday afternoon when residents want to enjoy warm sunny Sunday on the roof. Moreover, all 6th floor must endure the loud roof cleaning sound during whole Sunday afternoon. Therefore, do not expect your interest to be considered in any similar situations. 4) We paid electrical bill for 2 months after we moved out. Management refused to resolve this problem, though electrical company said Park Metro should initiate the refund 5) We got our deposit back and overcharging money 4 MONTH after we moved out. It was nearly impossible to get our money back. We had to write tons of emails, visit them personally, and AFTER 4 months we finally got partially our money back. We just gave up trying to get back evething they own us! TERRIBLE!
Very bad experience, from the beginning to the end. Management is the worse.
This is a great building, staff is incredibly nice and helpful, the building is well kept, very clean. Great Salon and Float (Floatation tanks) in building. This location is minutes away from top restaurants, shops, stores, mall (downtown Bellevue) and parks, you can either walk or drive whatever you prefer. The units have modern appliances, beautiful cabinets and wood floors. I have to say I enjoy living here and calling this place my home.
