As the name implies, Downtown West Saint Louis is west of the downtown district, a few miles from the Mississippi River. This vibrant urban neighborhood is about three miles from the renowned Gateway Arch monument and houses some of the city’s biggest attractions and landmarks. Neighboring office buildings, a diverse selection of restaurants, and vast museums, Downtown West is also home to the Saint Louis Wheel, the Enterprise Center, and the Stifel Theatre. Urban parks and plazas add a breath of fresh air in this urban hub. Green spaces such as Aloe Plaza, Memorial Plaza, and Kaufman Park host community events like Taste of Saint Louis. Of course, being next to Downtown Saint Louis means residents only have to walk a few blocks to experience more thrilling nightlife sports, eateries, and attractions. And if that’s not enough, Downtown West offers quick access to Grand Center, the city’s arts district filled with galleries, museums, theaters and more.

Property Ratings at Park Pacific
I have lived here 5+ years and love the building and community but we are no longer luxury. The current management team has not maintain basic standards. Examples: general cleanliness of hallways, broken doors/keycards, horrible rent payment system transition, broken garage gates. You report the problems and they acknowledge them but it never gets fixed. Forget about the extra things that use to routinely happen (e.g., window washing, community events, garage attendant on site)

My boyfriend and I moved into Park Pacific in August and have loved every second! The secure parking garage with even more security to get into the building insures our safety. The location is perfect for downtown living! It is super easy to get packages delivered here as well ( and the doormen are always helpful). As well as the maintenance people in this building are very quick to respond to work orders and are have always been successful at figuring out the problem!

Hello, thank you for your kind words and this wonderful review!
I love Park Pacific because the staff and management is extremely efficient and helpful. Maintenance issues are addressed promptly, the community is friendly and welcoming, and the amenities are incomparable. I truly appreciate that there are so many places to study, lounge, and appreciate the city view! I moved here in June and have not had any issues since and adore the building.

Hi there, we are very happy to have provided you with such a positive experience!
Don't brush off theses negative reviews. The positive reviews are paid for in gift cards. This place is a revolving door with out of town guests. The investors are so stressed about the state of occupancy that they are leasing blocks of rooms out to companies to list on AirBnb. Every night there are new groups of travelers coming home late, blasting music, drinking, and smoking marijuana. 10 people cram into a 2 bedroom apartment for a two night stay with no regard for the "community" that management tries to pretend exists. Its a Covid Carnival at 1226 Olive. Also, the elevators rarely work, the rooftop was closed all spring, the various keycard entry points fail, especially the garage. Nothing like waiting 10 mins to get out of your own garage when you have some place to be.

I have been here since October 2017 and have held from writing a review before jumping to conclusions. The staff has been very friendly and available to me when I have needed them. When needing paperwork to get my licenses changed to MO from NE they quickly printed all paperwork I would need. When I noticed some equipment was needing repairs I made them aware and it was fixed within a week. I think the coolest and greatest thing they did for me was when I had some friends coming into STL to visit at 4 AM, the doorman was prepared and let them into the garage and up to my room for me. They used my extra garage key and remote while they stayed a couple days too. There are a multitude of other things I have enjoyed about living here as well like walking to work, walking to grocery stores, 24/7 gym access on the top floor, recycling, events that seem to be always happening nearby, cardinals/blues games, and good places to get food and drinks, etc list goes on. As I sit here to type this the only negatives I can think of are that the refrigerators don't have water hookups so you either make your own ice or get it from the community ice on I think floor 4 or 5 (I make my own ice). Update: As of June 2021 My wife and I have moved out. We will greatly miss living downtown and all the positive amenities that come with it. We both would highly suggest those looking to move to downtown St. Louis to have Park Pacific at the top of the list as it is one of the most prime positions being in the middle of both of the Downtown and Downtown West Neighborhoods.

Hi there, thank you so much for your positive comments about Park Pacific!
current resident here. The building is renting out units to Airbnb due to decreased occupancy - this should be a major concern to everyone during a pandemic, especially given safety and security. The building management fails to tell residents about security concerns, including a drive by shooting at the papa johns in the building (heard about this one in the news). garage gates are almost always broken and staff is never around. Would recommend giving your money to ANY competitor. Do not live here.

the apartments were huge and safe. The property managers and doormen are very helpful and do indeed care about residents. Security is top notch and access is heavily monitored. Great place to live overall in St Louis - John

Hi there, we are very happy to have provided you with such a positive experience!
Management has began renting out vacant units as AirBnBs. Tenants were not informed this would be happening, and based on the AirBnB listings not mentioning Park Pacific at all, it seems management did not want us to find out. This building was a fine downtown living space, but now has been opened up to temporary guests who disobey both COVID rules and the general building rules. It is also worth noting that tenants are not allowed to rent out units as AirBnBs, so we can be certain it is management here. Should management stop renting out units as AirBnBs, I would happily change my negative rating. In its current state, however, I would not recommend Park Pacific to someone looking to live in downtown St. Louis.

Recently, management has begun listing units to be rented on Airbnb. The building used to be safe and secure but now every 2 days there are new people in and out of the building with 15 or more guests at a time. All of the elevators now smell like weed. The individual floors smell like weed. The common areas smell like weed. The airbnb guests play music extremely loud and behave how youd expect a fly by night guest to behave. The building has turned into a Motel 6. At $50 a night, who knows what will come into this building...it's downtown st louis after all. If this airbnb situation continues, Park Pacific will turn into the new City View Apartments. It's already on its way.

BEWARE!! The building management has just started renting individual apartments on Airbnb. The lobby is currently overflowing with furniture boxes for more units to be used for Airbnb rentals. I already had suspicions that occupancy was trending down and this only confirms it. In the short time that this has been going on the amount of marijuana I have smelled in the elevator and lobby has grown exponentially. Two days ago I found an entire blunt (marijuana rolled up in tobacco paper) laying on the floor of the elevator. I would STRONGLY recommend not signing a lease here as you may get stuck living in a European party hostel instead of the wonderful community that management tries to paint it as.

I lived here for a year. I did my research when I moved to the city and this place checked all the boxes for me. I was not disappointed. I am moving out with zero regrets. The staff, facility, amenities are all five star. The other residents were also very friendly. I had zero problems with neighbors and if I had a request, there was a solution. I highly recommend this place. I walked to the all star game and Mardi Gras. I walked to the ballpark and wheelhouse. The location is second to none. Again, I move out with zero regrets and nothing but excellent memories of my experience.

The Park Pacific Leasing and Maintenance teams are amazing and responsive. Their doormen are in the lobby 24x7 for that added measure of safety, and they don't hesitate to help when you are locked out or have deliveries. Excellent security measures allow you to relax when you are here. Your Amazon shipments are signed for and locked in a secure room until you pick them up. Watch panoramic, unobstructed views of the east while living up in the sky as high as the 21st floor! Enjoy the unique historic details of a building that used to be the headquarters of the Missouri Pacific Railroad. Walk to nearby attractions. Everything is just minutes away! Pet friendly too

I've been living at park Pacific for 2 years and about to renew my lease for a 3rd. I have ZERO issues living here. They always keep the building clean and I can't remember anytime where I really have seen anything out of order. The front desk staff are all amazing, the building staff are friendly and attentive. If I have a maintenance need I make a request on the app and it's fixed within the day. This is truly a hidden gem in the downtown st Louis area. I get nothing but compliments from friends who come and visit on how they love my apt layout. I definitely recommend taking a tour to see for yourself. ~C.M.

I love Park Pacific for numerous reasons. First is that the staff is always so courteous and helpful to its residents. Second is that the building is so clean and feels so warm and like home every time I walk in the door. With that point, it is safe and secure so I do not have to worry about that. Last is that it is so close to everything so that I don't have to drive to get anywhere. Overall, Park Pacific makes me look forward to coming home every day.

I love living at Park Pacific because it is home! Park Pacific was the first place I lived when I moved here in 2015 to attend law school, and I never left! Having a 24 hour doorman puts me at ease, and I love the community pricing on tv and internet. Finally, the non-loft style apartments are great for roommates with an added level of privacy. I highly recommend this community!

Hi there, thank you so much for your positive comments about Park Pacific!
When people ask me why I love living at Park Pacific Apartments, it is hard to narrow it down to just one reason. So I am going to share my top 3, First, do you have a significant other that's always seem to forget something when going out? (phone, keys, mask, etc) Well with Park Pacific being conveniently located in Downtown St. Louis, they can forget whatever they want and it is just a short walk back up to your apartment to grab what they need. Second, do you ever worry about slipping on ice walking back up to your apartment and all your neighbors seeing you? Park Pacific has you covered (literally and figuratively). With each apartment comes a covered parking spot in a parking tower that is CONNECTED to the building. So you can park your car, and enjoy your walk into the nice and warm building. Lastly, ever go on an all-day amazon binge? And then next thing you know, you've ordered 75 packages all being delivered the next day? Here at Park Pacific, the doormen are not ones to judge you as they keep pulling packages out of the mailroom for you. They can also offer you a cart to help make that walk of shame up to your apartment easier. Oh and you can't forget the free milk bones downstairs for your four-legged roommate, they love living here too. Living at Park Pacific has been a blast. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to live in a safe, affordable, and fun apartment in the heart of Downtown St. Louis. 11/10

Hello, we strive for 100% satisfaction, and it is great to see you had such a positive experience at Park Pacific.
I been living here for 3 years. It have a state of art design in and out. As soon you enter to the lobby you can see a beautiful interior decor and attention to detail. Every aparment have stainless steel appliances and new dryer and washing machine. I been in 3 different aparments from 1 bed to a 2 different 2 bed 2 bath aparment. Each of them have a unique interior design and in all of them, never have a problem with noises or odors. The building have multiple elevator and they are spacious and very fast. Never have to wait long for them to arrive. Management are very professional and always let residents know by email any concerns that can affect residents in any kind of way. Also letting us know about activities that can occur so we can plan ahead. Common areas have a upscale look on it, from the walls and decor. In the roof they have a small pool with a couple of barbecue. All commons areas have cameras monitored 24/7 by the Dorman. Parking is located in the same building so you get to your vehicle through one of the levels of the building. Security is excellent here using key fob for doors and elevators and a 24/7 professional Dorman

My girlfriend and I moved into a 1 Bedroom almost a year ago and couldn't be happier with our choice. Moving to a new city (Saint Louis) was a daunting task, but Park Pacific lent a hand at every possible turn. From the kind doorman staff to the helpful maintenance crew, we wouldn't want to live anywhere else in the city limits.

I started in a 1B/1.5BA and later moved into a 2B/2BA. The finishes in the apartments are great. I love the hardwood floors, granite countertops, and stainless steel appliances. There are also washer and dryer units in the apartment. They are the smaller units that stack on top of one other, but they have worked fine and any issues that you have are quickly fixed by maintenance. The maintenance team here is a night and day difference from my old apartment building. You can expect them to get your maintenance request done within a week and most of the time less than 24 hrs! The building is relatively quiet. I rarely hear my neighbors and when I do it is because they are in the hallway. The front door is really the only place where you will hear any sounds from outside of your apartment (which isn't much). This is a VERY safe building. There is a 24/7 doorman in the building lobby. Residents have key card access and all non-residents have to be buzzed in by the doorman. Even if someone were to get into the lobby, you have to have a key card to use the elevator. Residents are only able to get to their floor and floors with resident amenities. Those amenities include a rooftop wading pool, grills, fitness center, and more. Also, if you have a dog like me, there is a dog walk on top of the parking garage so that you do not have to take your dog outside of the building at night. I know that units can be expensive, but they include everything but electric and are worth every penny. Jesse and Audriana in the leasing office have been PHENOMENAL! They are always reasonable and happy to help.

We love to hear how happy you are living at Park Pacific! So glad you decided to transfer and stay with us.
I love Park Pacific! We moved into a 2BR 2 BA in October 2019, and my roommate lived in a 1 BR apartment prior. The management office is onsite and incredibly friendly and always helpful. I love living in a secure building centrally located to everything I could possibly want to do downtown. The building has a doorman 24/7 and secure parking garage connected. The rooftop is beautiful with a pool and grills. Every maintenence issue we’ve had was addressed quickly and fixed properly. I cant say enough about how pleasant my experience living here has been. No plans to move anytime soon!

This is one of the best apartment complexes I have ever lived in! The security to get in the building and into the elevators, along with a 24/7 doorman, makes me feel 110% safe at all times. Your access card only grants access to floors with shared amenities and your own floor - so I’m never worried about people roaming the floor I live on. Packages are left with the doorman in a secured room so I do not worry about them getting stolen. The property management team has your best interest at heart and will bend over backwards to make sure you are taken care of and resolve any concerns you may have. Maintenance requests are typically completed within 24-48 hours (a lot of times they have completed same day!!). The parking garage is attached, covered, and secured! The natural lighting / view in my unit is amazing! Granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, huge walk in closet, in unit front load washer and dryer, tile flooring in the bathroom, walk in shower, the list of amazing amenities goes on and on! I have not had one bad experience since moving into Park Pacific, and would recommend this complex to anyone looking to move to downtown STL!

It's great to hear you are so satisfied with living here at Park Pacific. We hope you continue to love it here!
For months, a homeless person was living in a empty apartment. This person then broke into a current tenant’s apartment and tried to rob the place. Months later, the same homeless person broke in again. Park pacific has absolutely no security. On Thanksgiving night, dozens of cars were broken into in the parking garage. Park Pacific did nothing to stop this from happening again. The property manager consistently misleads possible tenants when they are visiting.

I lived here for a year while in law school and the rooms were really nice. However, there were many mix-ups with management. 1) They sent the wrong meter number to Ameren and I began getting electric bills that exceeded $300-$600 each month for a studio apartment (months after it was fixed they were about $40 a month) and it took about three months to fix, I spent so much time on the phone trying to figure it out and had to go without AC for months because I could not afford the extra bills. 2) My dishwasher was broken for 1.5 months, and they said "sorry we had a switch in management, you should have let us know" but I had put in three requests for help that were all ignored. 3) They did a final walkthrough with me and said I had no charges as I exited, but then I got $175 deducted from my deposit because they said there was a dog smell and dog hair. But I never once brought a dog into the apartment, because I am allergic to dogs and I even offered to bring in proof from my allergist. They eventually stopped responding and never resolved it.

Prior to moving to Parkpacific, I lived in several luxury apartments located in downtown St. Louis. Although they offered similar amenities and services for residents, the buildings were not as well kept and staff was not as pleasant I'm happy to say that my search for a home in St.Louis is now over. Parkpacific meets all expectations. The building has so much history and the staff has been truly amazing. I arrived in July 2017 and don't plan on leaving until my contract is up at Boeing. Pros: Amenities Views Location Staff Room Service - Alumni has great food! Game Room - Newly added Optional storage Attached parking garage All inclusive rent packages Cons: Apartments are a little pricey but worth the money

Hi, your wonderful feedback and rating mean a lot to us.
Big change in staff since initial move in. Area isn’t the greatest to be in. A lot of displaced people in surroundings parks. Had maintenance issues ultimately resulting in the most unpleasant move out experience.

I have live here for 3 years and I can't say anything bad. The units are great and they have several layouts. I have lived in two units and they have been great. The staff really sets this apartment apart. Everyone from the leasing agents to the security to the garage attendants. From the frozen yogurt to the great Alumni St. Louis restaurant. I've made lifelong friends here and look forward to staying much longer.
Park Pacific Apartments is THE place for downtown living. Everything you could pissibly need or want is within walking distance! From the Rams, to the Cards and of course the BLUES (Lets Go Blues!!) all the way to groceries and Wash Ave. Oh yeah, it's okay to over indulge now and then because there is a restaurant/ bar right downstairs! I've never once been pulled over on my way to the elevators..... The apartments are beautiful, the amenities plenty and the staff VERY helpful and friendly. All around great place to live and hard to leave :-)
