Only three miles east of Downtown Cleveland, Hough is a distinctive neighborhood that has seen many changes throughout its history. Once a cultural hotspot, the neighborhood is seeing a large push towards revitalization as redevelopment is underway for some of the area’s ornate buildings and untouched lots.
Newer houses, apartments, and suburban-style townhouses have begun to spring up around Hough. On the eastern border of the neighborhood sits the Cleveland Cultural Gardens, the perfect place to enjoy the mild Ohio summers. My visit to the property
I come to this property daily, as I am a transportation provider for one of this property's residents. This place is so very often in a deplorable state of being. Trash is strewn about the parking lot, stray/feral cats eating from overflowing trash receptacles, hallways that smell of urine, and even abandoned vehicles that are on flat tires. I understand that this place is an income base living facility, however it SHOULD NOT look like this! Management MUST make residents accountable, if they adopt a "cooperative" living situation where EVERY resident has the specified responsibility of personally performing yard/grounds maintenance, I am certain the overall cleanliness will improve, as each resident will feel responsible for insuring that the property remains clean and presentable.
