Property Ratings at Park Place Apartments
I inquired here and the manager was friendly, I would have rented here but I was only looking for a one bedroom and they only had a two bedroom left.
I have lived at Park Place Apartments for 7 years and never intend to move. My two bedroom apartment is 1400 square feet giving me lots of room to maneuver and lots of storage. Managers Mary and Don are always ready to listen to concerns and address them promptly. Repairs are done in a timely fashion. This is an older apartment complex but has been updated with quality vinyl windows, new siding and painting. When I first moved in, all the carpeting and cabinets were new. The hot water heater and refrigerator have since been replaced. It is very quiet here and the neighbors are considerate. The grounds are well kept with trees and several mini flower gardens making it feel like a neighborhood. The location is convenient with stores and even a credit union for banking within walking distance. For these reasons, I highly recommend Park Place Apartments.
I could not have been more pleased to have lived here. It was truly like living in a park. After three and one half years, I reluctantly gave up my lease and moved to Madison for employment. Don and Mary have transformed the buildings and grounds and were always available to help me. They are meticulous grounds keepers and I always felt safe and secure knowing they were in charge. I miss the trees, grass, paved drive, and convenient parking. The brand new carpet was a great bonus. Additionally, being a student, I was away from campus but at the same time a short drive away. Easy access to everything in Stevens Point makes Park Place an excellent choice. Apartment 20 was my home-away-from-home. Thanks for everything you have done! A rating!
They will tell you how great it is to live there, but once you're in, will treat you poorly. All of the appliances are really old. The sinks and toilets are ancient. Plumbing sucks. There are crazy people who live there, and you will get constantly bothered by management about the littlest of things. And I mean constantly. Feels like living with your parents again. Totally sad that tenants are treated so poorly, especially when they are good ones.
Property Manager at Park Place Apartments, Responded To This Review
We regret that you had an unpleasant experience at our property. Our property is well-established and we strive to provide a good living experience for all residents. We do endeavor to treat all our tenants fair and equitably. All our tenants do sign a rental agreement that includes rules and regulations that we require all tenants to follow to ensure that tenants have a relaxing and enjoyable home life. Our managers are very conscientious and do try to work with tenants on lease violations, but will still make every effort to enforce the rental agreement terms and conditions. We invite you to give us a call and discuss this personally if you wish. We wish you well in your next home.
I have to disagree with the other 'uwspgrad' post. I currently live here, but will be moving soon. Manager is always willing to come help. Even helped me jump my car in the freezing winter. Yes, appliances are not the greatest, they are a bit older, but they work! If you are looking for a place with great rent, great neighbors and great staff.. this is it.
Appliances are practically unusable. Manager charges you, then sends out letter with new rules. Heating is out of date and inefficient. Cheap for a reason.
