I moved in here a month ago & everything has been great. I read reviews & so I decided to post my own. It’s a very pet friendly place. People seem nice who live here, staff is very responsive & so has all of my maintenance requests. Lots of space and I love my upgraded apartment.
Park Place is a great place to live! Everyone is friendly, the grounds are beautiful and the apartments are large and spacious. We have lived here for over a year, and yes sometimes the water gets shut off cuz someone hit a line, but that can happen anywhere. If we have a problem, maintenance is there within 24 hours. I have no complaints!

I have lived here for a few years and so far it offers the most space than any of the other complexes I have lived at. The property was bought out a while ago and so far they are making some exterior and interior changes. I ended up going into an upgraded unit with brand new appliances, I love having a full size washer and dryer, its a life saver for Arizona Summers. I would recommend this property for anyone who wants an older property with upgraded features for a lower rate than going further down Oro Valley.
Let me start off by saying I'm not the type to write negative reviews but I felt so disrespected and mistreated while living here that I feel compelled to make sure no one else puts themselves in the same position I was in. I lived here a little less than a year ago and it was actually a living nightmare. I lived in these apartments for less than a year, during which time they conducted four "annual" inspections at a time that was convenient for them that could not be altered to better suit both parties. While I understand and respect it is their legal right to enter your apartment after giving written notice, four times is a little excessive. It wouldn’t have been so bad if my situation was different but I explained to the office that I have a dog who was previously a “bait dog” before I rescued him and therefore VERY distrusting and scared of people. When a stranger would enter my home, he would cower in the corner, cry and defecate. After explaining this to them, I only asked that they give me a 15-minute warning before entering my apartment so I could put myself out for the 4th time that year to make sure I was there with my dog while they conducted their “4th yearly annual inspection”. After a rude remark, she said that she would do what she could. Well she didn’t and they entered my apartment without notice. The last time they entered my apartment was to update the electrical wiring. One would assume when management would come into your (what I thought should feel like a home but it never did) they should leave it in the same condition it was in before they came in… I got home and my furniture was flipped over; dry wall, dust from the dry wall and wiring was everywhere. While this was upsetting enough, it’s even worse when you have two dogs at home who could have ingested the mess they left and died. EVERYTIME I tried to explain to them why I was upset, I got nothing but snide remarks and literally no sympathy at all. It is sooo very clear that all this establishment cares about is occupation. In addition, the apartments are grossly outdated and incredibly overpriced. Even with their recent remodel, the apartments themselves are old and it shows. Cops are always in the area because cars are constantly getting broken into and their “security guards” are there approximately two days a week and when they are, they hang out on their phone in the office 99.9% of the time.
The staff and especially maintenance guys are very rude. They are not friendly. When something is broken at the apartment, they always come very late and when they come they treat person very badly. Especially the maintenance guy who has weird beard is very rude. Something has to change. They do not deserve even one star. DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMENDED.
I have an apartment with my balcony facing the Catalina Hills and every morning it is the best thing to wake up to! The office and maintenance staff are always in a great mood and willing to help. I will definitely be staying here for many years to come.
Beautiful scenery overlooking the Catalina mountains, this apartment complex features all brick buildings with 2 luxurious pools, fitness center, and tennis courts. They have full washer and dryers for your convenience. Schools and shopping are walking distance and easy highway access.
Beautifully landscaped property with mountain views and great amenities. Two swimming pools, tennis court, fitness room, computer room and club house. Friendly staff and prompt maintenance service. Spacious 1 and 2 bedrooms apartments with full size appliances including washer and dryer. Frequent invitations to holiday celebrations including food and activities at the club house. Pet friendly.
My apartment must have had a broken water heater, the dry wall is rotten at the floor in a lot of areas. The AC has no filter and HVAC was real filthy. Cleaned with bleach so I would not get the bad air circulating. The staff, particularly the manager is awesome. He is all over stuff and cares--but it is like trying to put lipstick on a pig. He has no chance in my apartment. A lot of people packed in apartments that give the place a weird vibe.
Since it includes washer/dryer as it's amenities it is a good value however vacancy is hard to pin down. I had wanted an apartment here, but they got ahold of me after I had put money down on another.
Office staff is helpful Manager is defensive Amenities are hit or miss on whether they will be working or not Gas bill is Very High in the winter even when not using the heat Electric is High in summer even when the air is kep at 80 or higher Maintenance staff has to be watched carefully. they will report an issue as fixed when nothing has been done, and are very curious when in your home.
However, I found a place that has only one floor (no one above or below you) and a nice size fenced yard. One thing I did not like about Park Place was the monthly fee for my cat, as well as, a separate fee for water, sewage, and trash. Especially, for the cost of the apartment!
