River North - 600 N Kingsbury

In addition to being in the heart of River North, next to Erie Park and the River Walk, this building has a ton of amenities including one of the very few outdoor pools in River North. In addition to the beautiful pool, there is a sun-deck and a jacuzzi tub as well as state of the art Fitness Center, Bike Room and storage lockers. The apartments facing north (with park and river views) are the quietest; south facing and west facing apartments tend to be noisy when windows are open due to the Ohio/Ontario Feeder-ramps; South facing units have unparalleled views of the skyline; east facing apartments on higher floors also have excellent views and are also quiet (unless close to the south end of the building due to the ramp). The interior of the building has recently been upgraded with new tiles, new carpets and new paint. As for the financial health of the building, it is the only building anywhere that reduced assessments 4 out of the past 5 years and the association owns the ground level commercial real-estate leased to a coffee shop and a salon; the positive cash-flow from the leases helps the association's finances. The building is pet friendly Finally whether as a tenant or as an owner, I would give this building the highest rating possible and the area is undoubtedly the hottest area in Chicago, walking distance to everything Chicago has to offer.

Perfect neighborhood for dog lovers!

This little area of River North is my favorite neighborhood in Chicago! It is a little off of the beaten path, and perfect for families or dog owners. With the A. Montgomery Ward park next door, there is a lot of activity and tons of friendly neighbors to meet! The building is fantastic - it is right on the river and offers beautiful unobstructed views of the city facing south. The pool is perfect in the summer, and having a gym in the winter is perfect for Chiberia. Highly recommend checking it out!!
