Property Ratings at Park Place
Great Staff and maintenance are very attentive!!!!!! I see reviews that are negative but since I have been at Park Place changes must have happened bcuz my experience has been great all around.
I have been a resident at this complex for nearly a year. For reasons which I will explain below, I will absolutely not be resigning and I am honestly considering moving out early. I will start with the negatives: Are these apartments remodeled? Yes! Did the vendor do a good job? Hardly! I would like to know what timeframe they're given to get the remodel done because they're certainly not done with care. When we moved in the entire apartment reeked of cigarettes, you can feel unsecure floorboards underneath the carpet of the living room, and we had flooring coming up in the kitchen during the first week. The shower curtain rod and towel rod were also unsecured. The list goes on and on, so don't be sold on the "Newly Renovated!" gimmick You should also be prepared to be bankrupted by the electrical bill. I have my AC set at 65 just so it can be 74 downstairs. If you go upstairs you can literally feel the temperature get 10 degrees hotter on your way up. We even keep the blinds to the porch closed to keep the sunlight from coming in but the difference is negligible. The reason for this is because there are only floor vents upstairs and I'm assuming poor insulation. If electrical was included with my bill, I wouldn't have an issue. However, it isn't and my bill is OVER TWICE what it's been during this time at other complexes. My last gripe is with the leasing office. Every interaction I have had has been met with incompetence. It's pathetically common for their emails to contain typos, incorrect dates, and misinformation. For instance, they recently changed the parking passes and the original email said we had until the end of the month to retrieve our new passes. Flash forward a week and it turns out you have to come get them by the end of the week. That's short notice and could've led to residents being wrongfully towed. In this same email it also said that the new parking passes were a numbered system, when my girlfriend went to pick up hers she asked where the number was. The lady in the office looked at her like she was crazy and rudely told her that it's colors not numbers. Now the positives: The kitchen countertops are nice, not sure if they're granite but they're nice and sturdy. The maintenance staff has been friendly and helpful at least in my experience.

Dana was who initially helped me she was very sweet and even went above and beyond to show me a apartment right before she had to close, so i could get a good look. Room sizing was great, convenient to a lot of shopping.

Convenient location to local dining, grocery stores and entertainment. The floorplans are spacious and offer great storage!
It has been horrible for me.. different management constantly. When I moved in it looked as if someone just moved their things out and the moved me in right behind. I have leak in my ceiling everytime it gets fix it leaks in a different place. Neighbor got robbed and no cameras were put up.. police stays over in the complex.. the bathroom has never been recorked properly. No room door was there when I moved in and when it was addressed they put door on wrong side. Management very rude and inconsiderate. Just a entire mess they need to be rebuilt from ground
It takes forever do maintenance to fix anything and sometimes they sign off without fixing anything it too almost two weeks to fix a leak in my shower and I had to call multiple times and they kept saying it was done. The also gave my spare key away to the wrong tenet and then they tried to cover it up by saying they looked at the number wrong and didn’t mean to call me. On snow days the apartment complex doesn’t come and clear the parking lot so your stuck until the sun comes out. I would never suggest anyone to move here, actually I would beg you not to move here.

Thanks for your review. We will take all your concerns into consideration.
I've been living here for almost 2 years now and I gotta say it's bittersweet. The location of the apartments is great and is literally close to everything. It is also very convenient to have a gas station right in front of the apt. complex and a diner beside it. Now there are quite a few things that management could do to improve. For example this year they did not open the pool until the beginning of august and it was still not clean enough to swim in. There are also a lot of bugs and management has not sent any sort of pest control company to relieve the issue. The master bedroom is the worse room to sleep in because it is either way too hot or way too cold depending on the season. The apartments are big inside which is nice but I would recommend to do your homework before you chose this apartments as your home.
In good area in the center of Greensboro it will take you 10 minutes to go anyway. But the downside of this apartment is the quality is poor, walls are very thin, you can hear people's conversations clearest day and maintenance and leasing office personnel are poor.
