Property Ratings at Park Plaza Apartments
I moved to Mountain View and rented a studio, and the apartment was designed to give me as much space as possible. There was never a moment where I felt it was too cramped! The closet was huge, so I never needed to worry about storage. The complex was clean and the area was so close to many different food spots and supermarkets for quick shopping. If your work is nearby, then you’ll save hours on commute time. I have to give special shoutouts to Mike who’s a very genuine and understanding individual who was very attentive to any needs I had as a tenant. He had such an enthusiasm that I didn’t find when touring at other apartments. I highly recommend this apartment.
I lived at Park Plaza for a year, and I had the best experience throughout my time there. Mike, the leasing manager, was helpful from when I started the application until I moved out a year later. Each time I needed anything fixed, it was taken care of in less than six hours. My honest rating is five stars, but I attribute this to Mike's personality and management style. Highly recommended place, especially if work mostly at home.
I lived at Park Plaza for a year and had an exceptional experience throughout my stay. Mike, the leasing manager, was incredibly supportive from the moment I began the application process until the day I moved out. His professionalism, friendliness, and proactive management style truly stood out. Any maintenance requests I had were addressed within a few hours, making the experience seamless and stress-free. While the property itself is fantastic, my five-star rating is largely a testament to Mike’s outstanding management. I highly recommend Park Plaza, especially for those who work from home, as it provides a comfortable and well-managed living environment.
Spacious, good neighborhood, considerate staff since day one
Park Plaza Apartments was my first apartment when I moved to the Bay Area. When I first found it on this website and reached out to Mike the property manager, I did not expect a response right away. However, he responded quickly and by the end of the week I had an appointment to tour. Since then, Mike has been attentive and responsive to anything I bring to his attention. He has made me and my parents feel comfortable in my move. The maintenance staff is quick to respond and work on repairs. The property itself is well kept and clean. Overall, a wonderful and comfortable place to live
Mike, the leasing manager provide a superb leasing experience. He is thoughtful and proactive about addressing tenant needs. My experience with view the property to moving in was very seamless all thank to Mike! When I had a minor maintenance request, Jose from the maintenance team went above and beyond to help me. Great team! The cal train passes through the street across frequently which is much louder and distracting than expected, also no in unit laundry- are somethings to consider. Overall a good property, well maintained.
I really like this apartment, from the environment to the inner decoration and the excellent property manager. Though I didn't end up renting an apartment there because the floor plan I like is not available at that time, I do recommend this apartment. I'm especially impressed by the property manager Mike's passion and patience. I'd love to live here in the future if the floor plan I want is available later!
We moved from out of state. The staff was very responsive to all our questions and let us take a virtual tour over a video call. We arrived late on our move in date, but the staff still found a way to get us our keys even after hours. There was even ample parking for a rental truck for a few days. Moves are usually stressful, especially from out of state, but this managed to be one of the easiest I've had. All in all, still new to the place, but it's clean, conveniently next to a park, and haven't had any issues yet. Caltrain can take a bit to get used to though.
really enjoyed my experience leasing / renting process here. was made straightforward and easy! main potential deterrents would be that its next to the railway (noise) but if you're used to city noises they do a good job of counteracting that (nice windows that block out the sound well). have assigned parking spots for no extra charge which is nice! would recommend!
I’ve been living in park plaza for 5 yr now. I love their staff and management, great amenities and everyone is very friendly.
I stayed in Park Plaza for 11 years and I enjoyed my stay there all the time. I need to move out of Bay area, that's why I vacated otherwise no :). The management is really very nice and maintenance staff is really prompt and kind. Close to major high tech offices and also Cal train station and a lot of grocery stores near by. I highly recommend Park Plaza apartments.
For being my first time living in the bay, I couldn't have chosen a better place. The staff is very professional and responsive. I really appreciated how helpful was the staff with "setting me up for success".........as a newbie in the bay, I had no clue on how to get the utilities going. During my stay (18 months) I never had any issues with my unit and the facilities where well maintained. In summary, great place to live and customer service is spot on!
I stayed at Parkplaza from Sept 2017 to Feb 2019. The place has a great location (close to Castro, 25 min walk to Mountain View caltrain, 20 min walk to San Antonio Caltrain, short drives to 280 and 101). Several grocery stores conveniently located within a 1.5 mile radius. The management is great and they are prompt with maintenance requests. We stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment which was freshly remodeled. Several appliances like refrigerator, stove and oven, dish washer, are already provided. Plenty of storage space and huge walk in closets, which is great for families. The other tenants are nice and friendly, did not have any issues with them, and many are professionals working in the bay area. Lots of families with kids, and there is open space for kids to play. The pool area did get a little noisy on saturday and sunday evenings during the summer, but if tenants do not follow the rules and the situation gets very loud (no loud music on speakers), we sent a quick note to the management and they promptly took care of the matter. Laundry is on site and is charged at 1.75$ each for using the washer and dryer. The rent is great for the neighborhood, and it increased by 50$ per month over the 2017-2019 period. Once the initial lease ended, we were shifted onto a month-to-month with a condition that we provide a one month move-out notice. The neighborhood is very safe (walked home and around at night with no issues), despite the presence of RVs on Crisanto Avenue. These are families who have been displaced because of high rent in Mountain View. They do not enter the Park Plaza property, and I had no interactions with them during my stay. The management offers pre-move out inspections, along with inspections before you had over the keys, during which they point out areas requiring additional cleaning/stain removal. Among all the places I have stayed at in Indiana and California, they were the most open and fair with charges for cleaning/painting etc. They do expect the property to be handed back in a spotlessly clean state, and if you put in the effort in regular maintenance/final cleaning before move-out, you will not be charged any cleaning fees. The painting fee is prorated based on the duration of stay. In the end, we were only charged for touch up painting at a reduced rate and no additional cleaning fees were added on. Its a great place to stay at and is highly recommended.
I lived at Park Plaza for three years and only have good things to say. My apartment was huge and by far the best value in Mountain View. Elisabeth and the rest of the staff are incredible and very responsive. It is clear they all care a lot about residents. Also, I appreciated that parking was always easy (I had an assigned spot) for guests. I'll miss the fitness center too! Last, it was very safe and I never had any issues. Thanks so much, Park Plaza!
I stayed in Park Plaza apartment for over one years, and I would like to highly recommend this apartment. Elizabeth is a so nice lady who manages this apartment. She is willing to help always. A nice place to stay with your family.
I've lived here for several years. The management team is very friendly and communicative; the maintenance staff takes care of any issue (if any) fairly quick. In the past years since the new management arrived, they have started making a lot of improvements to revive and make the entire complex look modern. The fact that is next to a park is great if you have kids. I have no mayor complaints about the quality of life here (neighbors, noise, etc).
My husband and I have been living here for almost a year now and we love it. The complex is basic in terms of what many other complexes offer in regards to amenities, however, the price is quite affordable. You get a lot of square footage for the price and there is plenty of closet space. The grounds are kept pristine by the maintenance staff. If something ever needs to be fixed it is done right away, oftentimes the same day. Our property manager Elisabeth is wonderful. She is always open to hear our comments and concerns and is extremely helpful if there is ever a problem. We love being within walking distance to Rengstorff Park, and within biking distance of downtown Mountain View. Our move to the Bay Area could not have been as simple without Park Plaza Apartments. We hope to stay here as long as we can!
