Situated at the heart of Idaho's largest city, downtown Boise combines the amenities of a modern city with the warmth and safety of a small community. During the day, the wide streets buzz with professionals. In the evening, the restaurants and bars near the intersection of West Idaho Street and North 8th Street come alive with live music and outdoor dining. Residents enjoy a range of housing options, from sleek apartments near the commercial area to single-family homes on the surrounding residential streets.
After work, residents head to Bittercreek Ale House for a draft beer and a locally-sourced, grass-fed lamb burger — for an indulgent snack, try the poutine, a local favorite. When you want an active evening, go for a run in the spacious Julia Davis Park and pause to watch people tubing down the Boise River. Well-maintained sidewalks and dedicated bike lanes enable safe walking and biking around the compact neighborhood.

Property Ratings at The 208
If I could give this place 0 stars I would, I have lived here for close to 8 months now and I cannot even begin to describe the issues with this place. When we moved in it was dirty and everything was half broken. We had no hot water for the first week we lived there and while we were reimbursed for it, it was only after EACH person who lived in the apartment had to contact management in order to received the reimbursement. The new water heater that was put in only works with the air heater on and the old water heater was left on our balcony covered in mold for 2 1/2 months. The closet on our balcony that contains the water heater was overrun with mold and had to be ripped out and replaced which most likely means there is more mold in this apartment that we probably cannot see. The roof over the staircase to our apartment collapsed and has been a gaping hole ever since. The bathroom walls have yellow drips running down them after steamy showers, we don’t know if it’s mold or nicotine residue but we have scrubbed them countless times and nothing has helped. The air conditioning unit was replaced in our apartment and we had a gaping hole in our ceiling with workers in and out of our space for 2 weeks. There are 6 washing machines for the apartment to share and only 2 of them on the second floor of the front building work. I typically have to wash and dry my clothes twice just to them clean and it is $1.50/ wash for machines that barely work. The ceiling fan in my room is completely unusable and was being wedged in place with a small chunk of a wooden dowel and looked like it was about to fall out of the ceiling. The entire place is completely inaccessible if you live anywhere but the first floor and are in any way disabled (on crutches/need a wheel chair). Management is barely helpful and asks you to email any time you have an issue but takes days to respond and calling them is even less helpful. The front office workers are passive aggressive and pretty much useless when it comes to helping with maintenance or anything else they don’t seem to know much about anything that’s going on with the complex or any way to help residents with their needs. Table Rock Res took over this place for management while I was living here and somehow things have gotten worse. It was cheap when I moved in but somehow you get less than what you pay for but I know the prices have gone up now and it’s not worth the struggle, if you can afford to pay any more live somewhere else.

constant back and forth with things that need repaired and there is mold in the windows in bedrooms, bathrooms etc.. their light switches spark, took forever to get that fixed too. Their vents are disgusting my daughter has had health issues since she moved in, went under new management in October and they are the same wont fix her mailbox so her mail wont get stolen, fixed the bathroom mold but took them months of having open hole in ceiling airing the wood out allowing other residents to get sick too instead of just relocating the students. fire alarms are missing in the apartment, gates work half the time , laundry facility constantly broken, the attitude from the secretary at table rock is unprofessional , they pick and choose what they follow in their lease agreement. very unprofessional company, i am the co signer and i was notified by my daughter they had new management they didn't even have the decency to let me know in email or a phone call, i would not recommend this property for your new aged students yes close to BSU but not worth the headache or the gouging of parents or students.
Maintenance always fixes things in a timely manner, the staff are very friendly, the rent is cheap compared to all other student apartments in the area, and they have upgraded the complex immensely. This is a great place to live and I will probably sign my lease again to live here another year!
I have lived here for about 3 years...I have never had any problems with maintance doing what I asked of them or any issues with management...I am very comfortable k Ving here..

Thank you so much for your kind words. We're glad you enjoy it here at Park Village!
This dumpster fire is the absolute sketchiest place to live. Maintenance? Takes an eternity. Parking? Good luck, there's not nearly enough. Any kind of service? Are you kidding? The landlords are shady, rude characters who will charge you more for things you didn't do. You live around drug addicts and criminals who are decidedly not fellow students. Please, love yourself. Don't live here.
This place is a RIP!!!!!! Yes its cheap, but not really. what they don't tell you, although im sure its in their 100 page lease agreement that I didn't have time to read every page line for line but should have. twice a year they charge a full months rent for two weeks. calculate that into your monthly rent pmt. also having your car towed multiple times, as some of the staff have absolutely no clue. some will tell you to go ahead and use an empty spot, then call the tow truck. 90 parking spaces for over 200 residents. and street parking is a mess. and that's not even talking about how HORRIBLE the maintenance is. Put in a work order, forget about it, unless you have years to wait. terrible ignorant staff, terrible maintenance, and terrible parking. I could go on. as soon as the lease is up, I will be helping my son to get out of this place. you would be better off to spend a little more money for a different place, I promise it will equal out in the end. unless when you move in you are ok with vomit in your carpet, a dishwasher door that falls off and leaks more water than it holds, and a refrigerator full of mold. renter beware: read every page of the lease, or better yet, find another apt.
For the past two and a half years I've lived here at Park Village and I'm disappointed with the quality of these apartments. First of all maintenance is horrible. Takes a ln G time to get things fixed in and outside the apartments. One dryer that we all use has been bro,en for two years, and it took them almost three years to fix our leaky ac unit. Also there's roughly 200 residents live bing here and only 90 or so parking spaces no street parking allowed. The reason why I do like these apartments is because of cheaper rent and since I'm blind it's easy for me to get to bus stops and other public transportation. There are other things I could complain about but it would take too long to get xplain.
