Conroe is located in Montgomery County just north of Houston. Since Interstate 45 travels through Conroe and leads into Houston’s business district, residents prefer living in this suburban neighborhood and commuting to work.
It’s no secret that the cost of living in Conroe is lower than Houston. The city is attractive to many renters because of the reasonable commute times, and it’s only a seven-mile drive to Lake Conroe, a popular outdoor recreational area.
There’s a lot going on in the city – you just have to know where to look. Locals enjoy exploring the Sam Houston National Forest, which covers 163,000 acres of land and is the perfect place for camping or a scenic hike. After a lovely dinner at Red Brick Tavern, locals look forward to a musical at the Crighton Theatre on North Main Street. The Heritage Museum of Montgomery County is a great place to go and learn about the city’s evolution through the decades – and it is right next to Candy Cane Park.

Thank you for letting our team know how we did! We look forward to helping again in the future. Take care!
I had a terrible experience dealing with these ladies in the front office. Helda, will cut you off mid sentence and tell you you have an attitude for asking questions and says she not going to deal with it without answering questions. Sophia, i don’t know if she a manager or what everyday we went there about our application she was always on “training.” The office is usually closed during business hours because of “training” or because Helda is the only one in the office. I’ve waited for over 2 hours for someone to come back from lunch and they just sit inside the office with the door locked. They both told us to fill out our applications different ways, they told us we did it wrong. We spend 3 WEEKS trying to get application done. We was told it would only take about a half a day for the background check, it took over a week. After that they had us come in multiple days (AND THEM NOT EVEN BE THERE) to redo our applications, we live almost 2 hours away. After it was finally completed the correct way they said it would take 3 days to process. When I called to ask for a status update after 3 days she would just tell me it’s still processing and that they had no control over how long it takes and that it takes time and then proceeded to try to explain to me that I should know that applying for an apartment takes time. I’m very aware of that, but why say immediate move in if I have to wake almost a month to know if I’m approved or not. I called customer service and explained my issue about the timely process and was informed that they reached out to the apartments. NOT EVEN 20 MINUTES LATER they called us to let us know we was denied for the apartment because we made too much money.
There are roach and mold problems in many of the apartments, i'v spoken to other current residents who have the same or even worce issues that have been brought to the offices attention but never fixed, they are ultra short staffed and have had 3 or 4 different managers in the 1 year we have been here. The whole mantance crew quit there is only one mantance man on staff and over 200 apartments all that need serious work. The old staff had painted over mold that i found out about later. I do believe they plan to rehabilitate the whole place (it needs it) but that is going to take some serious time and id say if your reading this b4 late 2021 its not a good time to even look unless you want people in and out of your apartment(if they do really rehab it). You might need big matanence done but good luck they cant even get around to the small things most of the time. They will say they put in a work order but never do or it gets deleted from the system without being done. The neighbors are great everyone seems friendly and there are so many kids that play together my child loves it here....but some teens from the other side of the apartment (side near the office) come and steal things (bikes, toys, porch chairs, ect.). The community and size of the apartment are the things ill miss. Unfortunately we will not be renewing our lease due to lack of mantance and I hate to say poor managment because I truly feel that there is to much work here for any one person to do and I believe she is responsible for managing another apartment as well. They need a bigger staff and to close the apartments that are being moved out of until they are fully redone but I dont see that happening. I was really very nice in this review. Consider continuing your search this place isnt ready for new tenants they cant even take care of the ones they already have.
