Property Ratings at Park Vista Apartments
Cathy and Karen did an amazing job working with me and got situated in a very timely manner. They are always available and always willing to help in any way they can.

We’re pleased to hear that our support made a positive impact on your experience. Creating a helpful environment for our residents is a top priority, and it’s great to know we succeeded! Thank you again for leaving us this review!
I lived here for about 5 months. There was often some crazy lady outside yelling repeated undecipherable phrases of some kind, maybe a different language. Yelling is no exaggeration. I was working a night shift so this was quite the bother. This was the number 1 reason for my low rating of this apartment. There was also a massive visible spider nest and piles of moldy leaves on the persons balcony directly downstairs of mine downstairs. I am a pretty big guy for 5ft 9, but I had to turn my shoulders to walk into the bathroom. All of that being said, I cannot speak on the amenities because they were all closed for covid.
I relocated here from Seattle, WA! So I was excited, but nervous and dealing with a lot of stress of the move and the challenges of the pandemic. The leasing office staff is all lovely, all neighborly and efficient. Specifically Great Thanks to Mr. Myles, allowing me to cross that worry off my list. It’s dog friendly! Lots of dog clean up stations throughout the neighborhood! And lastly a Quiet neighborhood with enough trees and grass to make me feel at home.

Thanks so much for the 5-star review and recommendation! We're delighted to hearing you're enjoying life at Park Vista, and we truly appreciate your kind words! :-)
Could not be more disappointed. Leaking roof, chips in pain, chips in flooring, and NOTHING like the photos. Office staff was less than helpful. Gym or pool equipment was broken or dirty. Wish I would have lived somewhere else.

I moved here from Orange County, California, a year ago and was pretty unimpressed with the quality of the communities I saw in Reno. But when I recently got a good job in Sparks and decided to upgrade to a better place, Park Vista impressed me with how similar it was to some of the places I'd rented in the OC. Clean, quiet and beautifully-landscaped sums it up. And unlike the OC, the rent here is reasonable. There are other communities in Sparks that are on the higher end, more upscale, but the extra $200 - 400 a month in rent wasn't worth it. This is a great place for someone looking for a good blend of quality and affordability.
Very quite for a large complex, good location right behind Legends groceries, restaurant, and great freeway access. I really think the staff admin and maintenance crew do there best. Anytime there is an issue with our apartment they are on it in less then 24 hours. The road neckwork finally got a major overhaul, from 0-5 stars For the most part I'd give the landscaping 4 stars down 1\2 point. Lawn has a lot more burnt areas and a lot more sprinkler heads falling off. However the lovely trees and shrubs more then make up it. II don't know what is going on with the pools this year. One out of the three seems to be closed every week for one reason or another. The over usage of the pools leaves them dirty and nasty at times. I personally think they could get a full time security crew, that would stop some of the teenage vandles.
The apartments are old and the walls are so thin. You can hear your neighbors conversations; there's also a lot of trashy people who are arguing all the time. There are so many potholes and cracks in the parking lots. They need serious work done on the roads and parking lots. When it rains the front office area completely floods and you will have to drive around; since the parking lots are so uneven and have no drains they also flood and have huge spots where rain fills and collects. Furthermore, turning onto sparks Blvd is a nightmare most of the time with all the traffic. You can probably do better than these. The pros for this apartment is that it's by the marina and mall but you could find a better place for the same rent.
Living in a large apartment can be daunting, not so at the Park Vista in Sparks Nevada. There are 800 apartments spread out in a park like setting. There are at least 20 different kinds of trees, beautiful lawns and shrubs everywhere. Its a quiet place with the singing of birds. Occasionally a duck will wander through. There are 3 pools with jacuzzies, tennis court, basketball court, work out room. These are large apartments, although not new but are well maintained. There are 1 bedroom and 2 bedroom with 1 or 2 baths available, some RV parking and pets are allowed. Carport parking and garages are available. Each apartment has a full size washer and dryer, dishwasher, locked storage area and a fenced patio or balcony for the second story. Located near a shopping mall and close to highway 80 only a few minutes into downtown Reno. People who live here are friendly. After growing up near a volcano in northern California and living in Lake Tahoe for many years, this complex makes my husband and I feel closer to "home". Would love to win free rent for life.
Only nice thing about these apartments is the new paint job. Otherwise everything is outdated and falling apart. Office is pretty rude as well.
I recently moved to Sparks Nevada I used apartments.com to find my current apartment. It was the best decision I ever made Park Vista Apartments gives me the choice of three pools a weight room maintenance staff as there the next day in most cases. And the inside of my apartment is up-to-date I have washers and dryers that came with it so I'm not wasting my money I don't have to go laundromat. And it's centrally located to all kinds of department stores amusement parks restaurants and supermarkets. I know if you move into this apartment complex you'll be happy with your choice
We've been here 4 days !the complex is very clean and quiet! The front office staff is very welcomeing! June 26th my husband had a heart attack and a quadruple bypass We had to move out of our dream home and let our business go!I had to rehome my dogs as well! I had to find a place to live by augest1 1st 2015 I walked into park vist aparments one afternoon I had only 4 days to find a home I walked in to the apartments I was so welcomed they had a place I could move in to on the frist there was only a 200 dollar deposit witch was a God send,I have lost everything and had very little money I would live to Win free rent for a lifetime it would be such a miracle! Thank you !
The staff is rude. My Stuff was stolen. The pest problem is nasty, I have had so many different types of bugs and roaches from my neighbor crawling up from my sink. I constantly clean and still they come back. They keep raising rent and coming up with new ways to make more money. Like paying for parking trailers and charging to pay with a credit card. There are rats or birds in my attic. I can constantly hear banging in the attic. The parking spaces are so small under the carport you can barley get your whole family out of the car. They didn't do a walk through with me. When I moved in there were stains on the carpet and a lot of things wrong. I wrote a long list of things for them to fix and I have been here and have called numerous times for these things to be fixed and they still haven't and I have been here for 11 months. I told a friend to move in here and I never got my referral for my $200 off of rent. I would not live here and I will be gone after my lease is over which they didn't even let me stay a year they cut me off by 7 days. The gardeners are here at 8 am and go in circles and don't really do anything but make a lot of noise. I have even talked to the manager about all the problems and she just said I will take care of it and never did. Even after falling off the stairs to walk up to my apartment because the stair broke on me. I am skinny and don't weigh a lot so that should of never happened and she didn't care that I hurt myself.
Well they never take of our pest problems on time such as bees and wasps. And they let people bring their kids in the jacuzzi even though they're not supposed to (eww). But it's really close to a target, subway, and a Starbucks.
Love the place the staffs were great and nice neighborhood
