Property Ratings at Park Vue Place
I have scheduled a tour twice the first time I was waiting outside the leasing office for 45 minutes I called to reschedule I tried calling before I arrived got no answer they never answer the phone
As a 4 year resident of Southgate during the Covid crisis, the community and management came together to "weather the storm". My unit was scheduled to be renovated, so I moved to the Swansboro side(Park Vue). The year that I have lived here, I couldn't ask for a more comfortable place to live. The management team(as well as the contractors) have truly turned the community around as far as anesthetics, and the neighbors are one of a kind, always greeting me with a smile and a hello to make my day. And the management/maintenance are consistently riding around in golf carts to ensure the community stays comfortable. Upcoming social events is something lacking in other communities. But Park Vue takes the extra effort to get the community together and make this an exciting place to live. The new management team has done an admirable job in turning this place around, and to see it progress for the 5+ years I've resided here, it's remarkable what teamwork and the extra effort to make the residents happy can do for an area.
currently resides there pros: good location, bus line, near shopping and very easy to maneuver around community. Management onsite friendly and courteous very affordable housing.security included in each apartment and depending on which section you live, you also get either internet or direct tv for free.ample street parking cons: maintenance onsite but slow to respond, not thorough with repairs. walls are all cracked, both bedroom ceiling leaks, living room ceiling leaks called and even though service was provided, the problem still exists. roof leaks, serviced but still leaks.two bats were in my home, i reported and showed images, i was afraid to kill them and they told me to call city of richmond which specilizes in things of that nature. they also provided me with the phone number. kids in the neighborhood often plays knock knock on your door, neighbors are typical. the overall area is quiet with your select few who always push the rules. there is gunfire at night from the maury street location. huge pot holes and people who does not live in the complex always takes your parking space if you park in the back of the complex so you may have to find parking on the street.oh, and there is drug activity in the area
Good that directv in offered to all, large rooms and adequate closet space. Neighborhood close to downtown and close to shopping. Onsite maintance not very good fixing things, unless it is an emergency. Good security plan included in apartment.
Good location to downtown, friendly neighbors, and good space. Maintenance on site, but slow to respond to request.
When I moved into the apartment I just new I was a winner but as time goes on it just started to fall apart little by little. I tried to get them to fix the problem but never showed up so now I'm in the process to move hopefully I can soon!!!!!!
