Property Ratings at Park West Apartments
Do not rent from these apartments … ladies in office are very rude and not very helpful when something comes down to breaking in your apartment! Overall if I could give them below a 1 start I would
Awful awful staff! They never answer the phone at the office, failure to fix any kind of issue going on. Mold in our vents and told them several times they never cared to come out and clean it or fix the issue. Several leaks in the apartment as well as the roof looks like it’s about to fall in mainly because they don’t clean all the pine straw off the roof. Please don’t waste your time at this place. They only care about the money they make off of you
I wish I could give negative stars to this awful place. I can't think of one positive thing about it with the new management. I lived there about 1 1/2 years. It was completely fine before the new company took over. After they took over in around Aug. 2020, it went downhill. There were two shootings about a month after, when there had been no serious crime there before that. Also, one of the women in the office was the most incompetent person that I have ever met. She called me at least twice a month saying that my rent was late, it never was. I always had to go up there to prove it to her. One time it was because she put it on the wrong apartment number and paid someone else's rent with MY money. One time I spent 15 minutes trying to explain that she had called the wrong person and that I did not live in the unit she called about and that I (a 26 year old woman) was not the male with the male-sounding name that she meant to call. They also did not inform me when they took over that they did not provide renter's insurance like the previous owners had. They just kept cashing a separate check for months that had a service written on it that they weren't providing. When I confronted them they told me they were keeping it as "building fees" what does that even mean? When my lease was up they were supposed to make me move into a "renovated" apartment (which never happened) and they were going to charge me $70 more for it a month, even though the new renters were paying less than what I was already paying. I never received a single complaint from them, giving them no reason to charge me more. They never fixed ANYTHING. It's an older complex and so it is expected that things will break, that is fine, you get what you pay for. BUT they should fix it. We didn't have a dishwasher for 3 months. They tried to fix it one time and said they had to order a new one, they never did. Also, they blew out our upstairs bathroom light trying to fix it, they never came back to fix the light (it was out for over a month). They ruined multiple things when they came to "fix" other things. (Also, when I was turning in my keys I heard them telling some applicants that the townhomes -which I lived in- would cost around $50 extra if they wanted water included in the rent, it only cost $35-40 MAX for water each month. Please don't get ripped off by these people, don't pay the water included rent price.)
Maintenance doesn't fix a thing and they do not care about you at all. We've gone without a dishwasher for 6 months now and our kitchen light has been out for weeks (we can't fix it ourselves). Along with our closet doors being broken, we had to go days without hot water, our lights shut off periodically for no reason, and they don't let you know when they shut the water off to your building either. The walls and floors are super thin, we can here EVERYTHING the neighbors do, and I mean EVERYTHING! Please do not rent from this place. And everyone in the office is so mean!
I lived there for a year and they never fixed the damaged things in the apartment and the deposit was never returned to me, I do not recommend this place
I wish I didn’t have to give them one star! I’ve lived here twice, the first time I was here for a few months but broke my lease for personal reasons but both times living here my car (two different vehicles) have been broken into; the management is poor ( have changed management at least three times. Now completely all new management! Maintenance men have changed at least 6 times since I’ve lived here this second time from January of 2020. Even upon moving in there was a maintenance issue coming through the door that they took 1 month to fix. My patio door wouldn’t even lock. Talk about unsafe. The light fixtures that shine out into the buildings (middle) where I live were out the entire time I lived here up until mid October. I called over 100 times complaining about it, they lied numerous of times as to why it couldn’t be fixed. Then eventually fixed it.. lasted all of a month and back out AGAIN still yet to be fixed again. Which leaves me in the dark coming out of my house with three small children every morning at 3 am. To head to work! Management is unprofessional! Manager earline promised me month to month leasing back in Late October without increase of rent after my lease was to be up in February 2021 and when I went into the office to get it in writing early December she claims she remembers the agreement but now as of January 2021 they no longer do month to month leases which puts me in a bind. So I refuse to stay here another year so I had to sign to be out early February! There maintenance guys do more riding around in the karts then they actually do working. Riding around talking on the phones, smoking cigarettes all day. Management never answer the office phones. I’d never recommend anyone to live here. Let’s not even forget to mention why they’re locking people into there leases.. after it’s practically a ghost town out here. After a death and several shootings. Not safe at all! So if you plan to move out here and you have children, this is not the place to want to have your family! I’ve seen The minute your late on rent they’re on time to leave a note atyour door about evicting but never on time to fix anything! Inconsiderate of there being a pandemic going on! I’m glad I’m leaving and I really wish I could’ve given this place 0 stars!
When I first moved in it was okay after a while I start having problem with my apartment I contacted the office plenty of times no one still came out. These apartment have bugs coming from small holes in the wall. Very poor maintenance apartment is not worth what you pay. If I could give these apartments no stars I would. Please listen to the reviews.

I am stuck in a lease. The office staff is rude and they will just blow you off. My water and sewer fees have doubled in price for the last three months and i can not get an answer as to why. I can not wait for my lease to end. I will not renew.

Since my move to mobile (3 weeks ago)I have ran into, the police being called to my apartment TWICE, issues with my pet being in the complex bc of my neighbors. Always something. The last straw was my neighbors constantly complaining about noise... When there is none! So basically the NEIGHBORS are really petty and I would also say that they were racist... Do yourself a favor and bypass this place, they don't deserve you.
Looks can be deceiving! Apartments are infested with gnats coming out of all drains!!! Neighbors are nasty leave trash outside. It smells like dog & cat pee in breeze ways. Pet owners do not keep animals on leash. Breezeways are nasty. Only one pool is open. Never anywhere to park
Very unfair in their policy, tenant law states that in emergency situations, a reasonable time can be given and most likely accepted. This was a medical emergency, 30 days instead of 60 given, this was not acceptable to them, fees charged and now under collection, ruined my rental history. Do not advise anyone to rent at any of their properties, grounds not policed. After moving in discovered their was a lot of drug activity.
Maintenance is the absolute WORST. It took 7 months to finally convince them we needed a new dishwasher! Office staff is rude and do not care about their tenants. Courtesy officer does nothing about noise complaints. Walls are PAPER thin so you can hear EVERYTHING. Renovations have been going on for over 6 months so there are loud workers from dusk to dawn, and because of these renovations the prices are skyrocketing. It's absolutely NOT worth wasting your money. The apartments may look nice from the outside, but don't let it fool you. Everything about this place is HORRIBLE.
Do NOT stay here. Maintenance Is horrible, they do a very horrible and cheap job to just get it done after months of waiting! They're infested with roaches and refuse to do anything about it, and have reported black mold from the time I moved in & nothing. Staff is horrible, and the pay is not worth it! they did no repairs before we moved in and the place is just absolutely horrible!
Do not move here!! These apartments look nice from the outside but are very old. The walls are thin and everything can be heard from one unit to the next. Management does not do anything about loud neighbors and maintenance request are not handled in a timely manner. For the amount of money you can find something much nicer. There is certainly not anything about upscale living here.
Nice and quiet community; however, maintenance requests are NEVER a priority. It took nearly a month before a leak in my apartment was fixed.
This complex is amazing, staff and maintenance service is great. Sometimes it took a little while to get things fixed but the environment is very clean and safe.
A complex located in the best part of Mobile, AL, you have it all here. Helpful staff, convenience to shopping, restaurants, and a family environment, both on and off the premises. The picnic area of the complex compliments the pool area where you can lounge and enjoy the water surrounded by pines. Southern relaxation is alive and well here.
