Property Ratings at Parkcrest Apartments
I lived at Parkcrest for 2 years. In the time that I lived there, they were slow to handle maintenance requests, it generally took multiple tries to get repairs done correctly, my ceiling grew mold (maintenance bleached my bedding and towels in an effort to clean up the mold), my ceiling had to be torn apart making my apartment unlivable for 2 weeks with no effort made to remedy my inconvenience until I demanded a refund on my rent. There were bugs everywhere including an ant infestation that I had to call regional management to get taken care of. Maintenance staff was so bad that I wouldn’t request maintenance without seeing if my dad was available to supervise and instruct them on how to do the job right. There was high staff turnover while I lived there. I had heating issues that went on for months with the staff insisting that nothing was wrong. My bedroom was 62 degrees. I had to call emergency maintenance twice and both times, they did nothing and left. I renewed my lease after the first year because there was a new manager and I thought maybe she’d fix how things were going. That was a huge mistake.
We lived here for nearly 3 years, only moving out upon buying our first home. We experienced a change in management during this period but our care was consistent for the entirety of us residing here. Regular maintenance requests were completed within the same day, and emergency maintenance was prompt the one time we needed it. The office staff Melissa was always extremely helpful and very friendly. It’s in a great park of town, with a cute park and trails within walking distance as well as tons of grocery, shopping, and restaurant options near by. Our rent did sightly increased in our time here, but overall was fair with comparable complexes in the area. One perk here was having a washer and dryer in unit as well as a garage. Overall, we would completely recommend Parkcrest to anyone looking!
