Property Ratings at Parker Apartments
Listings are out of date. They say that the units have A/C, that's a lie. Parking is terrible. If you call the office with a question 3 times, you'll hear 3 different answers. Very dirty place for the money
I have lived here for three years and I feel satisfied, I feel a calm climate, the maintenance staff attends to what is necessary in a timely manner,
I wanted to write a review because I can't express how happy I am with the management team here at Parker apartments. I believe her name is Kessica ward that is the manager here and she has been so helpful, patient and understanding when it comes to things getting done and communicated throughout the complex. The apartments are very modern looking and nice on the inside with wood floors. The maintenance team is amazing every single day up and working and willing to help if need be. The crew, the property and the environment is very calm and peaceful which makes things so nice and easy to live in.if your looking for a nice place to live... this is it!

Was told the washer and dryers were brand new but they ended up not working so we had to wait a whole month for maintence, turns out there was a flea infestation from the previous tenants, and to top it all of black mold ended up growing on the walls and they ended up only painting over it. Very terrible service, would not recommend anyone applying!
I've had a very bad experience here with maintenance. Getting problems fixed has been a struggle and rent went up the most they legally could get away with. The area is not nice and I have had packages stolen from my doorstep as well.
Yes the apartments are updated but cheaply done. Parking is a disaster. This is a dirty property. Trash always overflowing and the carpet in the stairs and hallway never cleaned. Kids paying in stairs and hallways all hours of the day and night!!..... OH not to mention I went to do laundry in the community laundry room and there was a rat causally just laying there. Needless to say I would rather pay a little more in a better community.
I rented there because it was in my budget. Worst mistake ever!!! Place has rats and they do not want to do repairs. I have put in multiple request and they always set up appointments and never come.
Yes it is an updated apartment but why settle for less than decent management. I had a horrible experience applying for this place. I was legitimately told false information which lead me to spend more money on application fees only to be told I had to find another cosigner and thus spend even more money that wouldn't be refunded. Having a cosigner wasn't the issue, it was the lack of communication and honestly on behalf of the manager here! Shady to say the least.
The apartment complex has little respect for it's tenants and those whom need to park at the complex. On 11/26 I was doing a kind deed, picked up a tenant whom was locked out of her apartment. I parked up front and walked upstairs to make sure she could get into her apartment. I used her bathroom and said my goodbye. I was there 8 minutes and a company called Retriever Towing took my car. There is little signage to indicate and after looking around I found a sign hidden with their policy. Needless to say I was in the wrong but I have to say I could have avoided having to shell out 392.00 dollars if the signage was posted in a visible location. The Retrieving Towing company is completely unethical and I hope I never have to do them a favor as they serve no reason to do the type of garbage work they do. They are opportunity that do no service that supports good will towards the community or the good nature of mankind. The apartment complex and the towing company are taking advantage of the situation and need to be considered for legal action due to their lack of available parking. There needs to be a loading zone and drop off and pick-up spot and maybe even a 15 minute meter if I you were to consider them worth time to rent. All I can say is don't turn your back to help anyone out and count on Westbrook Apartments to do anything decent. If they don't even post signs where they can be read and don't have loading zones and hire the lowest forms of life as predictors like Retriever Towing that stole my car after 8 minutes of doing a kind deed for a person living there. I have to give them the worst review ever as their parking situation tells the complete story. Beware of this company!
The management is very unhelpful and rude! They are lying when they state that parking is assigned it's not they have 76 spots but offer 98 cars to park on the property! They don't release cars after they get towed even if there are no available parking! The majority spaces on the "Westbrook" side of Heritage CT is fire zones so this too is limited! On street parking on 170th ave is limited to 6 spaces and that is if there isn't a semi truck occupying 3 of the 6!!! Don't move here this is the worse apartments to pay 950-1200 not have washer and dryer or at least one assigned spot!
The management here is very rude and I know I'm over paying in rent.
