Parking is horrible at the Parker Plano! Management is slow to respond. Anda the "Property Manager" has no authority to do anything without contacting her district manager. Property management will falsely list normal wear and tear when you move out and withhold your deposit. RENTER BEWARE, the property is very noisy.

This place is nice but management will charge you huge water bill . In one incident , I was not in apartment for more than a month but I was charged $125 for water and when asked they told it is based on overall use of all resident not based on individual uses . Forget about anything you will get back after lease end . They will make sure you pay more than your deposit even if you have minor strain or anything small after lase end . Not fair business practice.

Cute place, perfect amount of space for my sister, dog, and I. Just wish that some of the maintenance requests I put in were taken care of prior to move in. My only concern so far is that office staff is ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE when it comes to communication.

My air wasn't working and they came out the same day I report it. They came out and fixed it with in two hours. Well done job .Happy resident.
After the stress of moving from Oklahoma to Texas, Sarita and Valencia in the leasing office were so phenomenal during this transition. Any issue or concern was addressed in a timely manner. They immediately helped my family feel welcomed and were beyond accommodating to us. I greatly appreciate all they do and have done to make this move a little less stressful.!
Don't move in here because you'll be calling maintenance constantly and you're lucky if anything gets done in less than a week.
Good place to rent but could do better in some areas. Management team is very friendly but response time is bad.
Two weeks without air conditioning in Texas is a bit extreme. No calls or attempts to repair. They say they fix problems with 48 hours. I am not finding that to be the case. .

I have been a resident at The Parker for 10 years and been very happy during that time. In the past two years, The Parker has been transformed into an upscale property with many top of the line amenities. The staff including Sirita the Manager and Willie the Maintenance Supervisor are outstanding and go out of their way to offer top service and fast response to any issue. They also go out of their way to make you feel part of the Parker family and offer activities for everyone. It is definitely a happy, pleasant place to live and I will not be moving anytime soon.

The Parker feels like home!
My family and I stayed here for 3 years. The office staff is very friendly and helpful, especially the new manager and the assistant manager, Melanie. The townhomes are beautiful and upgraded and the schools in the area are quality. We really enjoyed our stay here and appreciate the kindness of the staff.

We have lived here for 4 years now. It was ok, place was worth the price until they changed management and became "upscale townhomes apartments" and we were forced to move to an updated apartment and everything has been a nightmare! Management does not care and maintenance is the worst! They are just now an overpriced complex with terrible service.
The community is offering move-in incentives but has yet to deal with the significant trash issues they’ve had for over the last 6 weeks. I’ve been here for over a year and they haven’t had issues like this before. They tried to find a solution other than the compactor that they had....so far just trash on top of trash on top of trash! If you like trash please come join us!

This apartment complex can’t get their crap together. They installed a brand new ac system in our apartment because they very well knew the old one was disgusting and not the right size. They also new the maintenance manager ruined the coils. And couldn’t deny it. ANYWAY the new unit stopped working yesterday. I wish I could say it is a surprise but it’s not. They ruin everything they touch. The maintenance man said he fixed it. But it stopped working again today. I submitted a work order this morning at 8am and we have yet to have someone come fix it. I hate it here. Management is HORRIBLE and incompetent. Not to mention the general manager lied about what he knew about our previous issues with the flood. (It took them a month to fix a flood that happened. They are all dishonest and rude. The regional manager came out to “fix” the situation but we haven’t even heard from her since she came out. She is just as incompetent as the manager of the community. I’m sure I’ll be updating this review a lot more since this community and management are pathetic. I am so serious when I say avoid this community like the plague. .

This place is the worst! The amenities are antiquated, the pool is green most of the summer and the landscape is worthy of dog poop only! This is NOT luxury by any means. To make matters worst the staff could care less and they are not thorough. Who gave this place anything higher than a 2 is lying! Do NOT move here!

We loved living at the Parker! Our townhouse was great and it really felt like home! We would not have moved but my spouse’s job had us relocated to Austin. If we could had picked up the place and the staff to move with us, we would had!!! Manager and his staff is so nice to work with and maintenance always took care of any issues we had quick! Don’t pay attention to those other reviews as we saw firsthand the huge improvements past year once the new manager and his people came on. If I could give this place 10 stars, I would!

This rating is strictly for Angel in the leasing office :) First and foremost , if it was not for Angel's thorough explanation about the property and his knowledge of everything surrounding the area from schools, hospitals, supermarkets we would't have rented. Hmm why you ask? At the end of the day there is lots of competition out there but Angel goes above and beyond to make sure he explains everything and makes you feel extremely comfortable. If his boss or owner is reading this , PROMOTE HIM and have him hire your future employees so that they all have his qualities. If you are coming for a tour , SEE ANGEL he won't disappoint. Overall ratings for this property are great, amenities are nice and included so take advantage while you are here. They host awesome resident dinners , in which Angel is always a part of , and you can tell he genuinely cares about the community. All in all great place to live ;)

I have lived here a year with my family and I can truly say this has been the worst renting experience for us. You are not paying for an upscale town home . We do not have wood floors, we have laminated floors. We have painted kitchen cabinets, painted tubs, our a/c breaks down every other week as a result of ants. The Parker's put a lot of money into the exterior but please pay close attention to details when you are viewing the apartments. When the fire department came to perform yearly inspections they found that we had an incorrect sprinkler in our master bedroom and if there was a fire it would not have worked properly. We are renting a washer and dryers from them and we had the 1st dryer replaced once and the new one is even worst. We have to dry our clothes at a minimum of 4 times to get our clothes dry which means our energy bill in through the roof. They allow dogs and as a result, there is poop every where and I mean every where. Residents have complained about rats and we are currently complaining about the ants even after the extermination. They list there is a basketball court. NOT TRUE. They list there is a spa. WHERE??? Doorman?? that's a joke. It took 11 months for them to get the gates working (and it is still not working 100%) and before that a stranger came ringing our door bell. There is no parking for visitors and residents cars have been towed. Just horrible. I have nothing positive to say.

If I could give no stars I would. I visited this place twice and was met with subpar customer service. Not somewhere I would want to lay my hat on a daily basis and a true testament to how atrocious their managerial skills are. I will definitely let all of my friends and family know to stay clear. The first time the office was empty and yet the agent insisted they had an appointment. We understood and offered to wait. I provided my phone number, they never called. So I tried to give the benefit of the doubt and returned on a different day. I was never acknowledged. I ended up walking out after waiting for ten minutes. The icing on the cake was that the agent in the office kept looking at us but said absolutely nothing. Extremely poor customer service skills.

I've been living here for 4 years and I've seen 3 different management teams but by far this team is the best seriously the apartments were neglected badly but since the new ownership it has improved greatly and there still making improvements as I'm writing this review so hopefully it can regain it's better ratings because it's actually a great complex

Future renters beware. There was extensive water damage in our apartment, and they also told me they had multiple apartments with water damage as well. We lived like this for over a year because they would only come over and look at it, but never fix it. We moved out at the end of May 2016 and at that time no roofs were being replaced, and our apartment was still leaking. We had 2 hail storms this year alone and all the houses in the area were getting their roofs replaced, but not the apartment complex. These apartments had been run down, and I don't disagree that this new company has a lot of work ahead of them, but you don't go charging us for your remodel, especially when you are going to gut the apartments. They might have the word upscale on them now, but they were far from upscale when I lived there. We couldn't use our master bedroom closet, and half our bedroom for over a year. The worst part is the current management even wrote that they weren't going to charge me for the water damage. How nice of them? Anyway, you might want to find out what they did to replace the water damage and roof before you move in.
When we first moved here on September 2015, it was called The Reserve. The staff was pretty lazy and the townhome wasn't even ready when they told me it would be when I first moved in. Moving along now, when The Parker took over management - lots improvements have been done. Maintenance is quick and comes in a respectable amount of time - usually the same day. I'm very impressed. There's also paying rent online since before we had to pay a convenience fee to just pay rent! So new management had gotten a lot better and the staff seems to really care about their residents and know what they are doing especially, Maribel - whose the manager. Right now, there's a lot of construction going on but we are fair warned about it which helps. Can't say enough how great the new manangement is.

We have lived here for a year now, and we are looking forward to moving when our lease is up. These apartments at first glance look very nice. However, don't be deceived. These apartments are aged, and once you move in, you begin to see the patch work. Older fixtures and older appliances that don't truly work. Our fridge leaks all the time, the dishwasher doesn't really wash the dishes. The toilets run all the time, the fans make noise. The garage has had to be fixed several times. And when you make a service call, it takes a long time for them to come. The little greenspace areas in front of the apartments hardly have any grass. The gates hardly ever work, so it's not really a protected community. While we've been there, the management has undergone a complete change. When management changed, the problems got worse. They are short staffed, and often rude when you speak to them in the office. Their hours are not convenient for working people. The good news is that we like the layout of our apartment. And it's super convenient to lots of shopping, eating places and close to Dallas North Tollway, George Bush Turnpike and 75.
The floor plan is nice. The neighborhood is quiet and is close to shopping, Church, and the freeway. The challenges are: Terrible Management (constantly changing ) horrible maintenance ( put in a maintenance request 3 months ago and still waiting ), talked to neighbors and everyone feel the same (leaving complex after only one year). Does not have the residents and apartments /townhouses as top priority! It's a shame, because the apartments/townhouses have great bones and potential! All it needs is a Management and Maintenance team who cares!
