North Daniel Island begins just south of I-526 and extends northeast to the edge of the Francis Marion National Forest. While slightly less populated than Daniel Island proper, North Daniel Island residents enjoy fast access to the popular shopping and dining district along Seven Farms Drive. Downtown Charleston is only about 14 miles southwest of North Daniel Island, a commute of less than 20 minutes. Move-in was not smooth. I changed my move-in date with one person, and it wasn’t communicated so a different person sent me a lease with the wrong date. Then the lease with correct date had the wrong price. They changed my apartment number a day before I was supposed to move in, which meant I had to change my address with the internet, energy, mail, and insurance people. Apartment was not super clean when I moved in. Sticky and smelled like cigarette smoke. Fake eyelashes on the bathroom floor. Within the first 1.5 weeks, my front door lock broke as a result of some pressure washing they were doing. I submitted a work request on a Thur. Lock was not fixed Fri. I called Mon and they confirmed it would be fixed. As of Tue morning, it was still not fixed. I had to call maintenance and request immediate assistance since I needed to leave and couldn’t lock my apartment. The maintenance guy said “oh I did this request already but I got the numbers mixed up and fixed the wrong lock”.

it is a nice place to live, but I feel that the breezeways need to be cleaned every so often from leaves and debris And I also feel that since we’ve moved in on 12 June, we are still waiting for things that need to be finished with our unit. Thank you.

We’ve only been here almost 3 months … we started out happy, but loosing the happiness quickly. Filled out move in sheet and that has still not all been fulfilled and we even went as far as filling maintenance request for each and still nothing. The dog poop issue has become a ridiculous problem to where if you don’t have a flashlight with you you’ll step in it at night or early morning … maybe no more pets allowed and just the residents that are here already only can have a pet. Management needs to follow through with putting fines on residents if they aren’t following lease terms … example: in our building a resident has a dog poop can in front of his door … there are plenty of poop stations throughout complex that can be used … we live in a gated community, but gates are wide open because the gates don’t work properly with a remote and so they’ve been open indefinitely and we are all given key fobs to access our building, but they don’t work either for the newer residents, so if going to advertise gated community and it’s not, then lower rent maybe

Some things could have been cleaned, and maintenance should’ve been done before move in. We had a smooth process getting keys and everything else. But apartment was not move in ready.

Great place to live, the management team is outstanding, and the maintenance team is as well. The rent is getting somewhat expensive, has been going up every year. You would think with all the new apartments being built the rent would be going down or at least staying the same.

I’ve been living here for three years this last year I signed the lease and they told me they were gonna give me community rewards points. It’s been over two months and they still haven’t done it. I have lived here for 4 years and am generally happy with things. Rent increase has been a bit ridiculous, I wish we had better (and better upkept) amenities but the community events are a nice bonus and the apartments themselves are very nice. Also love our maintenance manager

The apartment layout is one of my favorites for a one bedroom apartment. The location is great for being close to the grocery store and other things to do.

It's an ok place to live. It's over priced and the amenities are lacking. The clubhouse is nice and it helps that you can reserve it for free but the pool and the gym are nothing special. The package room is a mess and I have had packages stolen, when I suggest a more secure way to handle the packages it goes no where. We were promised upgraded appliances and "features when we resigned our lease but Management changes every year so I'm sure that has been dropped in the mix.

Major rent increase over the years with no updates to the unit. Construction on clements ferry been going on for over 3 years and traffic is stand still most hours of the day.

I’ve been here since summer 2019. I love this location, however since 2019 my initial rent has now doubled to keep up with market pricing, but I guess that’s to be expected. Staff has changed quite a few times over the years, but they are always nice. The new pool furniture is great, I just wish the pool bathrooms would be updated, they need a a little TLC.

Before the rent hike things were fine. Several changes in management/ownership and felt like there’s was a new person weekly in the office. For the title “luxury apartment living” this place doesn’t meet luxury standards- in comparison to the complexes Down the road. The gate worked on sometimes, elevators broke often, dog poop everywhere, and small pool area.

We’ve been here since 2021 and enjoyed how quiet it used to be and tucked away it used to be. Now that Clements Ferry Rd continues to grow we deal with traffic and louder roads. The rent has increased astronomically with no change to our unit or surroundings that reflect the large increase. The staff has always been kind and helpful, and we understand the rent increases are out of their control- it’s up to corporate. However, very sad to see how many residents have moved out since beginning of 2023. The place is empty, yet still filled with dog poop all over.

Quiet neighborhood. Management gave one week notice of a $450 rent increase. No interior or exterior improvements with the rent increase. The year before that, rent increased also. Each year rent goes up more and more by a large amount.
It has not been the greatest living here. The gates are always broken or sit wide open. There is no response to any emails I send to the office. etc.
Everyone is incredibly friendly. I’ve been here for two years and I always get happy to call this home. I love the layout of the apartment, as well as my balcony. I continue to take more and more advantage of the amenities. The little events the office puts together for us are fun too! I’m so happy I found this complex two years ago.
Parker point is great it’s well-maintained. Maintenance is great but my personal opinion the rent is getting out of hand the people that live here are great very friendly They have great things going on twice a month for the residence, which is nice
We have lived here for two and 1/2 years and have enjoyed it. We love the pool and the club house. Everyone here has been really sweet and helpful.
We have enjoyed our stay here so far. Prices have increased a lot since we have moved in, in 2021, and the apartment complex does have some nice features. But it does not compare to the large ones down the road. There are new complex’s being built close by, which will be good competition for this apartment complex to update the living arrangements - so it reflects the rent prices they are currently charging.
These apartments are placed in a great area. I really enjoy the lay out of the one bedroom apartments. I also really like the area and the restaurants around it.
I Loved the warm welcome I received when moving into my new place! They made the application process and breeze and I’m so happy with the complex!
Overall, quiet community. However project manager gave 1 week notice of a $450 rent increase. Also took away preferred employee discount. Would like to see improvements to community with this large increase.
Good place to live. Love the amenities, love the neighbors, and love the location. I also can’t thank the leasing staff enough for being so hands on.
Rent has gone sky high! Was told they were not renewing my lease on my present unit! They want to renovate it. Was old I could move out for the time it took to remodel the unit, and move back in once complete. The rent would go up approximately $800!! They are renovating 35 units, just so they can raise the rents. I have been in this community going on 11 years. VTT Management say “residents of their communities are their greatest asset “doesn’t feel that way! The newer communities near Parker Point are a lot nicer, better amenities, and yes they charge the higher rents. Parker Point doesn’t deserve that kind of money for what they have to offer. Management does not enforce the dog policy, I’ve seen pit bulls, German shepherds, breeds that are on the list that shouldn’t be here. As far as the property, screens on windows need to be replaced. (16 years old) They need to paint the parking lines in the parking lot. People are still smoking right outside the building, not 50ft away.
Pleasant so far! Need timelier reponses to maintenance requests, though. I also wish that the apartments were a bit more soundproof; neighbors have a dog that won't sop barking lol
Excellent environment, smooth move-in experience, professional leasing officers, great location to the work, friendly neighbors, quiet atmosphere, and safe gated community.
Very nice apartments but unsure if the complex is worth the price for a 2 bedroom two bathroom apartment. The management in the front office are extremely nice and always helpful.
Overall, a quiet and friendly community. Everyone who lives here has been very respectful and truly never gets loud or noisy. It can take time to hear back from management when trying to get in contact but they are always helpful.
I have lived here for 5 years. The service is excellent and the management is thorough. I love the high ceilings and privacy. The location is very good.
I love the apartment complex and have been there for three years now. I love the spacing of the apartment and the layout. The location is great and the area is growing very fast.
needs to be improve cleaning in buildings hallways more often, some residents has pet (dogs) which they use elevator so dogs sometimes peed inside elevator with no cleaning by dogs owner's,, as well using stairs the smell of dog pee is noticeable.
