Property Ratings at Parkland Pointe
Originally I had a rat in my apartment and it had chewed a hole in the wall then when we told the apartment people they just put sticky pads in our house then the next morning their was 3 mice dead on one trap!! I called the office and they said someone would be there and they never came. I had to get a friend to remove the trap. Our first unit had completely flooded so we had to be moved to a different unit. All of our items were damaged and we had to live in a hotel. for 2 weeks till they got us a new until My apartment was also broken into twice! They do not have security that drives around but thank God my neighbors seen something the second time. The police told us that the person that robbed our house had to have watched us for a couple of days. That was just un settling to hear so we had to stay with a friend for a week then we had returned but still feeling unsafe. 2 months later they sent out a letter saying that someone was robbing peoples apartments so keep your doors locked. I heard gun shots during the day at one point but I made my self think it was kids playing on the play ground but later that day we got a letter that said a shooting had occurred and that the suspects are still loose and the victim had passed away so if we know anything call the police. We then broke our lease because their were too many problem and incidents going on for our kids to be around. vey unsafe and disgusting. They still made us pay for breaking out lease but I did not pay it.

I am sorry to hear you had so many issues during your time at Parkland Pointe. This was all some time ago. We have put many policies and staff in place to change the community and have made a dramatic positive change. Thank you,Charlie KinnardProperty Manager
I was very anxious about getting information on this property. Based on what I saw on the website, the townhomes look spacious and had a reasonable price. I called several times but no answer. I can literally say I have been trying to get ahold of someone the past two weeks, between the hours of 8-5. Unfortunately, no answer! I've concluded if I'm already struggling to get ahold of someone now that I don't live there, imagine once I'm a tenant. Very disappointed, hopefully, they get better staff who are attentive to the phones which would bring future residents.

Thank you for bringing your concern to our attention. Our office is very busy and so we do have an answering service that answers every phone call if we cannot answer the phone. When our answering service picks up you can leave us a message and we will return your call as quickly as possible and normally on the very same day. Again, thank you for expressing your concerns. Moved into these apartments summer 2016 worst place i have ever lived and i cant waite until my lease is up. Moved into these apartments nothing but trouble like crime rate shooting and now they have the nerve to be removing the privacy gates in the back of the town homes because of poor maintenance in which i would assume is the apartments job i have small babies who play with their toys in the back gated area and patio furniture as well as other things now im gonna have to find a storage for my things so no one steels them if your planning on moving here dont bother its a waste of time and money worst decision i ever made.
This place just had a shooting and no additional security was hired. This place is run down and needs serious repairs. Don't view this place during the day come in the evening and see for yourself.
Don't make the same mistake I did. It looks perfect in the apartment website, but reality is so different. The control gate doesn't work for more that 4 months. Need to do the service request many times. My apartment has cracks everywhere, and they do nothing. Just want your money not care about your safety. Talk to the residents before move in and you will see I'm not lying. Take a look to the baseball court, kids playground, trash and clubhouse kitchen and you will see the truth.
I been waiting for my deposit refund over 30 days and all the rep Finishia can say is i'll get back to you..I ask for Corporate number and they said they can't give it to me. It's been over 30 days still no refund after they confirmed I indeed have one coming. They are crooks don't do business with them
From the beginning it was a nightmare. I was originally suppose to move in on Oct 10, however they advised my unit wasn't ready. Went back a week later and advised make ready was just completed and ready to move in. After getting the keys and going in, looked as if the previous renters just moved out and all they did was vacuum. Mold in the toilets, stain on carpets, old fixings with mold, tubs had water stains and bath rings etc. I felt i had moved into the slums. Well about 3months later a new company came however they are no better. I have put in work request 3 times for the same problems, and they provide us with parking stickers but doesn't enforce it. Trash is always left on the grounds by residents and kids damaging property while outside with no adult supervision. I ADVISE DON'T MOVE HERE IF YOU CAN PREVENT IT!!!!
