Toured model apartment. Upon lease signing, was not allowed to see actual apartment. First day we moved in: Downstairs bathroom pocket door unusable because the tracts were needing replaced causing the top of the door to lean farther to the side than the bottom of the door. Maintenance request made. First time using kitchen sink, water poured out all over the floor. The drainpipe was broken. Husband fixed it and we Shrugged it off as an oversight. The fireplace was full of ashes from previous owners. This was May that we moved in.... First time loading dishwasher when door was opened, it reeked from the dirty water that had been sitting in the bottom. Had to clean this ourselves. We cleaned out the ashes from the fireplace which should have been done after the moveout inspection of previous tenants. The pocket door actually never got fixed by the complex. We fixed it and did so almost 2 months after it was turned in for repair. When reported that we had fixed it, we were told that they were going to just replace it with a regular door. No attempt to compensate us for our work and the money we paid to fix the door. The model apartment had newer appliances and Tiffany told us we would have new appliances as well because they were upgrading all of them in the complex. We did NOT have new appliances. The microwave was the only thing that was new. The stove was an old electric stove that had a broken coil that pans would slide off of if you were not careful. This was not seen when looking at it, once a pan was placed it would dip down and cause a slope. Turned into maintenance, never fixed. Once we fixed the bathroom pocket door, and was able to use that bathroom, we had to clean another water leak from the bathroom sink. Sink was rusted through, and this is where the leak came from. We replaced the sink and the faucet because maintenance does not do anything. When we told Tiffany about it and that we had already fixed it, she stated that they would have fixed it had we told them. The electric bill was almost $600 in this apartment. Turned in to maintenance. . The bills remained high throughout the time we were there. Told nothing was wrong. KWH usage was upwards of 3000 a month. Neighbor with the same setup KWH usage was less than half of ours the entire time. In January, the downstairs heater began making a loud noise, smelling of burning wire and smoking. Turned it off and alerted management. No heat downstairs for two weeks.

Parkridge Place is an amazing apartment/community to live at. The office staff and maintenance are awesome and super kind. Not your typical apartments, would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place to live.
These apartments are extremely spacious. All the rooms are very big and there is a lot of closet/storage space. There is also a fireplace which my husband and I have appreciated so much. It makes the whole place feel much more homey. The office administrators have also been some of the kindest people I have ever dealt with! They are extremely accommodating with just about any situation. Highly recommend choosing these apartments as a possibly permanent location!
Of all the apartments I have ever lived in, I have not interacted with the leasing office very often. However, here at Parkridge, the ladies of the leasing office are so caring and personable. I actually have had the pleasure of getting to know them, and I enjoy dropping by for no other reason than to chat for a bit - I have never done that at any other apartment complex. Additionally, my dog insists we go there everyday. He loves them, and they spoil him. They pet him - and not just a pat, but they go beyond - massage etc. - he loves it. They even get down on the floor with him sometimes. They are awesome. They, too, understand not to stereotype breeds of dogs - it's the owner's responsibility to train his/her dog, so I appreciate seeing them accept larger and/or different breeds of dogs. It's hard to find apartments that accept dogs that don't charge you an arm and a leg - they are good about considering this issue. I truly appreciate living here.
This is a community, not just an apartment complex. They are snuggled between a woody area that has a feeling of seclusion and a peaceful environment. The apartments are gorgeous with great amenities. The staff is always spoiling us with treats and meals for various occasions. The property is well-maintained and modern. My husband and I planned to live there for 6 months and we have been living there for over 18 months. A great alternative to buying a house!
Tiffani and Alyssa are wonderful and always take care of the residents by having different events throughout the year , they are always very friendly and help fill out work orders as well as make sure to follow up about work orders. The men who work maintenance are always quick and I haven't waited over a couple days for a work order to be filled. Along with amazing staff parkridge also has a nice secluded location that is just down the street from Dyess air force and the loop so everything is just a couple minutes away. The other nice thing is the price for the size apartment, amenities and pet friendly is phenomenal.
This complex is the best I have ever lived in. The staff is nice and caring

Great place to live. The staff is nice, friendly, and knows us on a first name basis. The residents are all friendly and you’ll see people talking to one another. They also have different holiday events and other resident appreciation goodies throughout the year.

The staff here is amazing and very accommodating. I recommend them highly for a military move. They did a fantastic job making us feel comfortable to move in sight unseen. Best apartments we have lived in. Clean grounds, well kept pool and hot tub and very quiet. I have never heard my neighbors.

The apartments are quiet and in a secluded area. The office staff are always quick to help in whatever way they can. The pool area is open YEAR ROUND which for the heat of West Texas is god send. The price you pay for what you receive can't be beat in Abilene.

Thank you for your review. We are so glad you think so highly of our community.
I have lived at Parkridge Place for 5 years, and I love everything about these apartments - the staff, the location, the customer service. Maintenance is awesome! Alyssa and Tiffani in the office are the best. Everyone goes above and beyond to make certain that you are a happy tenant. Like all complexes, they also have rules and policies to follow. Follow their policies, and there should be no problems. For me, they stay in contact via my email about anything and everything. They are always quick to respond with any question or issue I might have. Covered parking is available to all tenants, pets are allowed. An Elementary and a Middle school are within walking distance. All shopping is about 10 minutes away. However, my favorite thing about Parkridge Place is that it sits up on a small hill surrounded by nothing much more than trees that are especially beautiful this time of the year. Watching the changing leaves is most beautiful to me and taking short walks to enjoy that beauty is the best part or simply enjoying it from my window or front door is ok too. Parkridge Place is my home and I couldn't be happier!

I currently live here. It's great! I love it. It's quiet and there's lots of sidewalks for walking pets. If there's an issue with the apartment maintenance comes out that day and fixes it. There's assigned covered parking which is super nice! The front office staff is great. I love living here!

I love living here! the management always helps me out when necessary and Tiffani and Alyssa are so sweet. The layout of the apartments are my favorite and the bedrooms are large. I recommend this place to all of my friends!
I love living here, the community is quiet and located next to a park and splash pad that my child loves. The administration is friendly and helpful.
Great service and very accommodating staff! Quiet living and clean property!
Best apartment we have stayed at in Abilene. The management is awesome and they care about the community and each resident. The neighbors are quiet and that's a big plus. I HIGHLY recommend Parkridge Place, the staff is excellent and so are the apartments.
My husband, daughter and I loved Parkridge Place. We had a 2/2.5 townhouse and it was plenty of room for the three of us. The maintenance crew was quick to handle all of our work orders and the stuff was incredibly friendly. The leasing agent had a clear view of the pool and enforced residents only. I personally saw her throw people out who were trying to swim and didn't live there! I felt very safe walking our dog with my daughter while my husband was away for work. Even at night, it was nice. The walking paths are well-lit, and the residents are friendly and respectful. I would do anything to live there again!
Dont really like my apartment would love one with a lower pet deposit and a bigger patio
